I stayed three nights in a zylinder and was counting down the days to leave. I’d never stay here again. The layout is impractical with zero space beside the bed, no shelves or hooks, and only room to store things under the bed. The door uses a key lock, which is inconvenient.
The bathrooms felt dirty. The toilets, showers, and sinks are all in separate stalls, and some showers only have one hook and no shelf. When I went to shower there was a swarm of ants on the floor, and when I dropped my soap it came up covered in dirt. It didn’t feel clean at all.
The zylinder AC works, but it blows directly on your head at night which is uncomfortable. There’s only one small common area by the pool and hot tub. The hot tub is big, but the pool chairs need an upgrade. Laundry is $15 and takes four hours. Staff were mostly unfriendly except for Carlos and Ashley. Guests during my stay were also very cliquey.
The one positive is the location — it’s right on the main street and a short walk to restaurants and shops.
Overall, the cleanliness, setup, and atmosphere made this one of my least enjoyable stays.
