Ares Hotel

I truly enjoyed this property, the room exceeded my expectations with the complimentary water bottles in the room along with biscuits and gorgeous linens and towels. Loved the guest lounge with complimentary coffees, teas, and selections of pastries, nuts and candies. The decor was absolutely charming with beautiful fine cotton pillows a cute children's area and the complimentary full breakfast was over the top!!! Great value and super friendly staff. I'd definitely stay again! As a pilgrim I so welcomed the much needed comfort!

What an absolute little gem hidden in Zamora. Super kind staff, everything great in the room, and a nice breakfast. Nothing to want more. You can reserve a parking spot too, and it’s next to the old town and the places to visit. Recommend!

We were very surprised that the hotel exceeded our expectation. It had a beautiful victorian style decor and the rooms were very big. The bathroom came with nice touches of amenities, like toothbrush and shaver. The bath was well equipped and very spacious. Not lacking was the fantastic service provided by the staffs on duty - Virginia and Rocio. They were very friendly, accommodating and always with a smile whenever we see them. They also provided us with recommendation for dinner and it was really good, when we went to the restaurants recommended by them. We felt very comfortable and safe. Another mention to add, is the relatively expansive buffet breakfast. Overall, highly recommended if you are spending a couple of days or more in Zamora. The hotel is also located just 5 minutes from all the best iconic locations and restaurants.

5 stars to the hotel, rooms, breakfast and especially the staff, Virginia and Rocio. Beautifully decorated and big rooms. Highly recommended for anyone stopping over at Zamora.

Lovely hotel not too far from the city centre with very helpful and efficient receptionist.

Good location, only minutes to walk into the old town.|The hotel was very nice with excellent attention to detail. The bedroom and breakfast room was charming. There was a good choice of food at breakfast and the tv room housed tea/coffee making facilities, with pastries and biscuits. No hesitation in recommending this hotel

From the moment I entered reception I got this awful smell of cleaning fluids which I think had been used to cover the other awful smell we experienced in our room. You could taste the horrible smells in your mouth. They were so strong. |The hotel is just outside the walls in what seems a very rough area. There was screaming in the street from 4 oclock in the morning, and we saw a physical fight in the apartment across from the hotel which then moved down into the street and one person was chasing another and hitting him with an iron bar. Obviously this is not the hotels fault but it was very disturbing and we didn’t get any sleep. |On the plus side everything was very clean but the smell in the place made me feel sick.
