Argo is a great place to come if you’re looking for a brunch fix or a fresh, healthy salad. They have an extensive menu with a range of options. Their baristas have consistently made great coffee when I have gone there. This time around, I had their Greek lamb salad, which had a great mix of ingredients, including a delicious garlic sauce. While the price point is probably on the higher side, the great thing about Argo is that you’re NOT eating a salad that is 90% lettuce. They make sure that you have a decent serve of the substantive elements of the dish and don’t cheat you with a massive bed of lettuce or anything like that. I thought that the flavours of my dish were fresh and well balanced, and that the lamb was well cooked and tender. The only criticism I have from the several times I’ve been here is that there was a hair in my salad, but nobody is perfect. You can order from the QR code on the table or with the staff at the counter. The décor is nice, but it’s a roaring trade so it can be a little noisy/you can feel a bit couped up.

Been coming here for years. Great food with a huge menu. Loses points though due to a recent change to the table ordering app which has made it much harder to order and has different prices. Not sure why they changed it as the old app worked well! Had to order at the counter and ended up paying more than what I would have if using the app. Such a shame.

Really, really good. Fresh, healthy and delicious food. We had the quinoa porridge and nutty banana smoothie bowl. I also had an emerald city juice. We’ll be back again for sure!

Absolutely LOVED @argoespresso in Adelaide! 🥰✨ This spot is the perfect blend of cozy and vibrant vibes, making it a go-to for anyone who loves good food and great energy. First off, the atmosphere is incredible! 🌟 The decor is stylish and welcoming, with a modern touch that makes you want to stay for hours. Whether you’re there for a quick coffee or a long brunch, the ambience is just perfect. Speaking of coffee, it’s top-notch! ☕️ The baristas really know their stuff, and you can tell they put a lot of love into each cup. The blend they use is smooth and rich, just the way I like it. I had a latte that was pure perfection, and I’m still thinking about it! 😍 Now, onto the food… WOW! 😋 The menu is super diverse, with something for everyone. Whether you’re into healthy options or feel like indulging, Argo’s got you covered. We tried their mango smoothy breakfast bowl and their egg and bacon roll, both so fresh and flavorful! 🍳🥓🥣 The portion sizes are generous, and everything is presented beautifully. Overall, Argo on the Parade is a must-visit in Adelaide. If you’re looking for a spot that ticks all the boxes – delicious food, amazing coffee, and a great atmosphere – this is it! 🌈 Can’t wait to go back and try more of their menu. Highly recommend! 💯

Ordered an Iced Coffee with skim milk, however it looked liked it had lumps of cheese in it! I asked the waiter with red hair that it did not look good, he took my glass back to kitchen and returned with an attitude that it’s just the milk. Clearly it was curdled. No offer to replace. Very poor and unhygienic.

Very bad foodbowl, chicken. Nothing is made fresh its just put in a bowl from jars of wholesale. Chicken is cheap and drunken in mayonaise. Nothing healthy about these healthy bowls. Please people serve real food this is like junkfood in a pricey jacket

Google
very disappointed! ordered through the uber eats app and spent $150 on two focaccias and seven drinks. what i am most unhappy about, is that i paid $13.60 on a tiny “milkshake” that had the consistency of water (as pictured, however i can’t exaggerate enough how much worse it is in person) and i couldn’t even drink it! i believe it had no ice-cream whatsoever. food was mediocre at best, and for a $35 focaccia i expect it to be atleast good. the freshly squeezed juice and frappe were yummy, however also in tiny cups for ridiculous prices. as hospitality worker myself i am very disappointed.

Google
I ordered online the 'Time To Shred' dish and was extremely disappointed to find an insect in my food container (photo attached). This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene and food preparation practices. I expected much better from a place I trusted enough to order from. This kind of experience is deeply off-putting. Very disappointing."

Yelp
Love being able to order from the table and that the online menu has pictures! Fabulous The coffee came out within 5 minutes of ordering. It was perfect. Habibi add and egg and Maple Bacon: 10/10 Norti 8/10 The plants around the outside tables make it feel cozy and calming. It a great place to sit and enjoy early in the morning

Yelp
Argo is very popular cafe in Adelaide and line can be intimidating, but you usually get seated right away so do not be alarmed. You order by the register after you are seated, and the menu is massive so it can take quite some time to decide what you want. In my opinion, their menu is actually too big and leaves people somewhat confused. I had smashed avocado toasts and my husband had Big Brekky. They were both good but Big Brekky was definitely a winner. The portion is huge so honestly sharing one might have been enough. They have parrots outside on the way to the bathroom, which are really cute. I would recommend dining outside, as inside is very big and can get very noisy. It was so noisy that I couldn't really have a conversation over my breakfast. Not a really cafe environment but it was worth visiting.

Yelp
Alright food. (Seriously) Annoying clientele. Good location. Crap service. Expensive. Seriously massive menu with interesting and varying choices. Worst people to sit next to. Horribly managed service who don't seem to know the bare basics (which may not be their fault as they are all incredibly young and may not have been trained at orientation). Oh and it's expensive. Very expensive. Lucky I can get away with a small meal.

Yelp
Now I know what the fuss is about. Argo has plenty of competition given its' location on The Parade in Norwood, but now that I have eaten there I see why the tables are always packed and sometimes there is a wait for seating. The service is quite friendly and very fast at this walk up and pay brekkie/lunch hotspot. Today (Sunday @11:45/ish) I ordered the macrobiotic bowl, which has quite a lot going on in one bowl but it works. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful; I am a big eater and couldn't finish it this meal. Darn, I suppose it will have to serve as the entree for tomorrow's lunch :) There are many delicious choices, almost too many to be honest. Now that I am a believer I suppose I will need to begin working through the 10-12 items that immediately caught my eye then move on to the next 15-20 beautiful sounding items. Hahahaha- I really hate dilemmas like this. Not.

Yelp
Here for brekkie! JUST GO! Nuff said lol!!! Won't allow me to post with little verbiage so I am just adding words to determine if it will accept the post.

Yelp
It was a busy place so we lined up because the vibe was nice. We got to sit at a communal table and it was quite hard to go to the cashier because the place was packed and there wasnt much space to move around. Their servings were big. I got the chicken burger, it had kimchi and it tasted absolutely bland. My sister got the Itadakemasu I think is what it was called - buckwheat noodles that had other toppings. The umami was so strong she didnt finish her dish because it was too flavorful.

Yelp
When you're seeking that great coffee and plenty of food choices to accompany it, it's comforting to know this little gem is right there on the next corner from home! Top that off with friendly, welcoming staff, and you have a total winner! Will be looking forward to continuing regular business - often in favour to our own Breville coffee machine. The wall art on their exterior walls is iconic

Yelp
Wow! This place is amazing! On a Wednesday afternoon it was packed inside and out which just goes to show its the place to be in Norwood! The cabinets were full of delicious cakes and sweets, even catering for the dietary or health conscious. I tried the baklava and it was close to perfect. The coffee was also very good. One thing I noticed was the interior was well designed and modern and the addition of a bird avery out the back was really great. I am dying to go back here for an actual meal - subject to getting a table! In the meantime, this is my new fav place in Norwood, and with the incredible competition there on The Parade, that is saying something. Definitely put this place on your list of cafes to visit.

Yelp
I love Argo's, despite the sometimes long wait and the food and drinks coming out at different times, this is the BEST place I have ever been for breakfast, hands down. There is a reason there is a wait, and as they are so busy I can understand why they bring out items as soon as they are ready because why wait when the customer could be enjoying/nomming/getting caffeine. They have such a HUGE menu, full of so many amazing things. Gluten free, dairy free, vegans, vegetarians... you name it, they cater for EVERYONE! Everything is made on site, and there is so much to choose from I know I will have to keep coming back (I haven't even tried the lunch menu, or the amazing looking dairy free coconut ice cream they make like soft serve). Every time I walk out, full and content with my delicious food and drink I gaze wistfully at the HUGE array of cakes and delicious items available but am always so satisfied I never take any home. Maybe next time? Because I will definitely be going back!

Yelp
I have visited AOTP on multiple occasions and I have always had my high expectations met easily. Their mochas and milkshakes are good, while their brownies are really rich. However, being rich can also be really heavy, so make sure you have something to balance it out.

Yelp
My last Argo experience was at the City, which was average but not stunning. We wanted Nordburger but it was 100% packed. So my friend suggested Argo, and I'm happy to say that the Norway location is a winner; it' consistently packed, the staff work flat out but are still friendly and the food is of high quality. Some of the menu is a bit pricey but it depends what you choose. I respect people trying to eat a bit healthier, but I personally don't buy into the vegan health movement...the chia bowls, the detox salads etc. So I settled for a burger and fries at my friend's recommendation. I misread the chilli fries as chilli cheese fries so I was surprised when my fried came dusted with crushed dried chilli and no sauce. I read the menu and it was NOT chilli and not cheese :( The french fries were french fries, not much to say (undersalted by i added salt and pepper). Fried to a crispy exterior with fluffy inside, it came with ketchup but I should have asked for that chilli relish since the fries weren't spicy at all. My friend had sweet potato fries and I was skeptical because alot of places can't do them right and it's soggy and oily. The Argo's ones are crispy and very well done, well worth the $6 because it's done properly. Comes with sour cream. Nevertheless, I waited patiently for my burger which was the beef burger with spicy argo sauce with jalapeno on a black bun. Honestly I got it for the black bun, maybe it was squid ink or something. It came out on a plain bun but at first I didn't notice so I took a photo, started cutting it, almost took a bit and then...Wait a minute!! It's not black... So I asked a waiter who promptly went to replace it (kinda feel douchey for sending it back but yeah). Out comes the remade burger with black bun and I dug in. The bun has no unique flavour, it's purely aesthetic but looks nice. There was a great char on the patty that I could taste. The patty was very slightly mushy (maybe some fillers, because I don't get that sensation at Relish'd) but the smoky char flavour saved it. It came with jalapeno and spicy sauce but I'm a chilli head so it wasn't spicy for me. The taste is there though, but I got full from the fries so I couldn't finish it. I don't normally eat outside (don't like sun on my food for some reason) but there was a shady 2 seat spot which I promptly took. It was so relaxing eating outdoors at Norwood, I gotta do it more! Good food, decent price ($13 burger), friendly wait staff and relaxing atmosphere. There was a slight hiccup with the order but it was changed without any fuss. 4.5/5, Will be back!

Yelp
ARGO feed yourself (with apologies to Ben Affleck). On a trip back to the CBD from the hinterlands of outer Magill, my wife Susie used Yelp to search out a brekkie stop. "Whoa, Chloe & Karen & everybody else on Yelp like this place-let's go there." And so began my journey to Argo. We found on-street parking close by, but not in front. All those spots were taken and at 7:45 in the morning, that says something. We went inside and found a table for two-fine for coffee, but a little small for brekkie. But we quickly moved to a right-sized four seater as someone left. There was lots of room, but lots of solo diners taking four-seaters, leaving couples to struggle over the two seater table scraps. Not Argo's fault, as it's free seating, but off-putting manners by early am Adelaide chow hounds. But then the joy began. What a great menu! Interesting, creative choices and lots of them! Aside from being an attractive venue, it is clear that they really want you to have a great meal here. As we were struggling with what to order, it dawned on us that we were huddled up like two polar bear cubs in a blizzard. Seems that Argo opens the wide front door/glass facade to the great outdoors. So the cold of an extremely chilly Adelaide winter morning was having it's effect. We decided to give up our hard-won four seater table, order takeaway and eat in in the (warm) car. I went up to order and BAM, someone said, "Be right with you," and then BAM, they were there to take my order. I was starting to like this. Placed my order, paid and and was given a beeper for my food and told that my name would be called when the coffee was ready. Great, I thought I have time for a quick visit to the toilet. Got back in a couple of minutes and the person who took my order saw me and said, "Hey, your coffee's ready." I am beginning to think I'm somewhere besides Adelaide. BAM, these folks are FAST. Took the coffees out to the car, came back and BAM, the beeper went off-food's ready. So back to the car with the food. I noticed that the lattees were clearly marked on the lids, so we knew who got what (see photo). Same with the food too. No ripping bags open and swapping food. Fast and organised and customer focused. And then we tucked in. Oh My! We had the Jack and Jill brekkie sandwiches, one with no bacon. They were luscious. I often end up ordering my brekkie sandwiches cold because I am tired of having them heated in a fifty kilo press and coming out like hot sheets of cardboard. But at Argo, the focaccia was heated through, but still soft and flavourful. The rest of the brekkie sandwich was moist and juicy, but not so sloppy that it squirted out in odd directions. Simply the best brekkie sandwich-ever. Our lattes were prepared as ordered and met our often demanding coffee requirements. So it's five stars for us. We're definitely going back on a warmer morning and diving into some of those scrumptious looking dishes we saw going out to other diners. Argo is everything I want, need and expect in a brekkie cafe. Besides great food, they really understand service. And that's just not common enough in Adelaide. It makes Argo stand out.

Yelp
Wow, just wow! I bet all of the other café's and restaurants are looking at this place green with envy! Argo is pumping. Every time I walk past this café it is full of customers. And for good reason to, they have their customer service down and offer some really beautiful menu items, juices, smoothies, tea and coffees. Actually they pretty much have everything. When we arrived we were greeted by the waiter. He was very polite and chirpy. He asked if we had dined in the café before, which we had not. He then proceeded to guide us through the menu and informed us that they were happy to adjust any menu item to cater for any specific dietaries. So there is service for sure! Argo's menu is really large! Almost a little too large, but that is not always a bad thing. I was just spoilt for choice. Almost everything on that menu appealed to me. I had to get my partner to choose for me. I could not decide between four meals. That does not happen to me often. So I got a burger and some sweet potato wedges with tzatziki. We soon found out that the order probably could have fed two of me. Very generous servings that were great value for money. The quality of the meal was great, and especially in consideration of how busy they were. We ordered and we received our meals within around 7 mins. Super fast service! Great if you are in a rush. I think that may have had to do with how many staff were working. This really impacts on the quality of service and customer satisfaction. Not a lot of venues think this way. But look at the result, super busy restaurant full of happy repetitive clientele! And I can see this from all the other Yelp reviews. Very impressed, definitely a place to take all your girlfriends for a catch up!

Yelp
It is an excellent restaurant! Lovely environment and lovely brunch! You could add more fruit and nuts as toppings for the smoothie.

Yelp
This is a very organised, efficient, well run restaurant with a huge range of options. It's not cheap, so don't go for a budget breakfast. The BLT was too light on the bacon but the wraps are delicious, tasty, and stuffed full of good bits. Lots of healthy options, huge range of vego or vegan (love the Zoodles!) My most recent experience here was ruined by my poor juice choice. I was recovering from a cold and tried to go for health over flavour. WRONG MOVE. I'm one of those people who is embarrassed to admit they have food envy or that they ordered the wrong thing, so I plastered a smile on my face and choked down my health potion, quickly chasing it with sneaky mouthfuls of water and interspersing it with shovels of zoodles. Don't order the elixir juice! You've been warned. In summary, Argo has become an institution on the Parade and is well worth visiting.

Yelp
It seems the local Norwoodians have been keeping this place a well hidden secret for a while because if I had heard of this place sooner I would have been to many a more brunches and desserts at this little haunt on The Parade. Although I only had a fruit salad with granola and yoghurt here, (the freshness and sweetness of the fruit is not to be smirked at) I managed to eyeball some seriously good looking eggs arriving at people's tables across the room. Service is super quick and the food is super fresh and super simple. Nothing much more can be said except it is "super" - b. The coffee is nothing to write home about, but it wasn't unpleasant. Prices were very reasonable and it is a no wonder that this place was packed all Saturday morning. Ergo I would certainly make a trip into Argo for a brunch sometime soon near you!

Yelp
I go to Argo every Sunday morning. Dragging me out of bed on a Sunday morning is a challenge, so the food at Argo must be good. The coffee is definitely not the best I have ever had, but it is decent. I absolutely love the food. I really didn't expect much when I first went to Argo. I thought it was going to be another Italian café with over priced food. I was completely wrong. They have a brilliant range of food. In the cabinet there are delicious pre-made rolls, foccaccias and piadinas. My favourite is their piadina with haloumi, it is one of the best things I have ever eaten. As well as this food, there is a large range of breakfast dishes, salads, burgers and other items on the menu. Their vegetarian burger is delicious. I have eaten a lot of veggie burgers around Adelaide and this is one of the best. It is massive and made very healthily, like all of the food on the menu. The service at Argo is always great, the waitresses are very helpful and friendly. It can get very busy, especially on the weekend, but somehow the food and the drinks always come out extremely quickly. The prices are also very reasonable, especially for the quality of the food. Another feature of Argo that I like is the artwork they have on the walls. They feature interesting pieces by local Adelaide artists. My mum liked the art so much that she commissioned a painting by one of them!

Yelp
Argo you temptress I would happily have my way with you every day if I could, every visit has been consistently fantastic. First time making it there in time for breakfast hours and shocked at the staggering amount of choice, with over five pages of options for vegans, meatos, vegos, paleos and juice cleansers we took ages parusing the sheets until we picked a couple of winners. Back on my health kick I chose the coconut yoghurt and fruit pudding whilst my meat eating counterpart ordered the John chicken burger. Out the back all hands must have been on deck since we waited for only fifteen or so before our food came out! Food was beautiful and the serves are pretty large which made me glad I got mine to go just in case it was a bit heavy for the morning. The fruit was varied and generous, not just cheap old chunks of unloveable melon which most fruit salads sadly bear. My coffee was pretty big and yummy and the vanilla chai we had accompanied it with was phenomenal. I avoid sitting inside since it's one of busiest cafes on the street and the line and mad chattering boucing in the room would probably make my uncaffienated state pretty unbearable. The outside area is brilliant though and one of my favourite cafe exteriors with all the plants they can possibly squeeze in to the space hanging and spread around creating fantastic ambience. There's a variety of seating sizes and arrangements that make for great people watching on the parade too. One of the best, the darling of Norwood.

Yelp
Food is amazing although lines and seating may be an issue. I would recommend possibly booking prior to arriving to ensure there us room. The smoothie bowls are phenomenal and drink selection is vast. Would recommend for brunch gathering. overall, good vibes

Yelp
Great buzz, great atmosphere, AWESOME food. Adelaide needs more of these places! The coffee is good, not outstanding, but not too bad either. The food, ohhh the food. It's amazing. Anything that has been done before - focaccias, piadinas, burgers - but done BETTER by a million times. I love haloumi cheese, put haloumi on a piece of cardboard and I'll eat it. Their haloumi piadina is divine. Samantha T's got the right idea - their vegie burger is superb! Every time I pass Argo, it's buzzing. People are everywhere, it's such an upbeat place with friendly service. Love it.

Yelp
OMG! This place is getting 5 stars just for it's hollandaise alone. Seriously I want to take a bath in it, it is that good. I had heard nothing but great things about Argo on The Parade so I was excited to check it out for myself. Here's a tip, get there early or be prepared to wait. I was lucky that my friend arrived before I did so she did the waiting for me. This place is packed and after tasting the food I know why. The staff are lovely and friendly, and even though they pack in a lot of people in a small space it's not over-crowded. And if you are like us, you may find yourself having a nice conversation with the next table of strangers while sipping your latte.

Yelp
Argo on The Parade at Norwood simply do great coffee ... and the food's pretty darn good as well. The only drawback is the place is just sooooo popular it can be difficult to get a table. On the site of the old Argo deli, these guys have taken an old business and given it an ultra modern spin. Not only have they created a new funky look but they've tapped into one of the most in demand businesses around these days - the cool meeting place with great coffee. Heaven knows what we all did before this resurgence in coffee shops. The service at Argo is great. Order your coffee and you get a smile. Have your meal brought to your table - another smile. I'm a sucker for good service and these guys have got the service angle sorted. They also offer the obligatory 'card' for regular customers. Collect stamps on your card and every 9th coffee is free. I have to applaud them as certain other coffee chains offer every 10th coffee free, these guys have gone one better. Well done Argo - great place!

Yelp
Sun. afternoon, I had the worst iced coffee in my life...Yes, 'ICED COFFEE. how can it goes wrong!! I wish I took photo, you can even tell it's a bad coffee by the look. We ordered a latte and iced coffee, my iced coffee came like a milky coffee flavored WATER with a scoop ice cream on the top. I had a sip, just can't go on...I told the girl that the coffee tasted like milky water with just a hint of coffee flavor (I was really polite, I had no choice, it just tastes so terrible), she did't say anything just brought the coffee back. 30 seconds later she brought me back the same coffee but with a lot of sugar syrup in it.... I have to say that the first one is the second worst in my life! I don't want to judge my husband's latte, he had 1/4 glass only. We left the shop with a full glass of iced coffee and 3/4 cup of latte. We had coffee out every day, this is the worst we had. By the way, it's not busy lunch hour. Perhaps just the coffee maker that day had a bad mood or didn't have good training, after all, we had good coffee there before.

Yelp
Argo used to be a small deli on The Parade a number of years ago, and was almost always empty. I could never figure out if it was a general store or a cafe - perhaps it was both. Maybe that's why the owners decided to reinvent the place, and since its sleek, modern renovation, Argo is now one of the most impressive cafes on the entire street. For a small cafe, Argo boasts a huge menu including focaccias, burgers, salads, hotdogs and much more. I can't get enough of the hotdogs, and the numerous varieties of fillings make it exciting every time I go there for lunch. The beef burger is also highly recommended - it's the best burger you'll find on The Parade. One particularly good feature of the menu is that there's a large range of vegetarian and gluten-free choices, making it easier for those with strict dietary requirements. The desert window is also pleasing to the eye with a huge range of sugary delights, including a number of gluten-free specialties. The coffee is simply amazing. The baristas are quick and know exactly how to make a great-tasting cup of espresso, rivalling those of Cibo and other Italian cafes on the street. The staff is also incredibly friendly and make the dining experience really intimate. Argo gets extremely busy at around lunchtime, so unless you're good at sniping tables, you may have to get there early or get your food and coffee to go.

Yelp
I have been here a few times and each time it has been amazing. The place is always super busy, but you can understand why when you try the food. The menu is very very extensive and there's heaps to pick from for breakfast and lunches. The portions are huge and the food is always super fresh. It's absolute heaven for vegetarians and vegans also, although there's just as much meaty stuff on the menu and you can swap or add ingredients. The last time k came I had the sautéed greens (can't remember the exact name) and added some tofu and my partner had a foccacia with chicken and avocado (don't remember the exact name either) and both were delicious! My partner also tried the new "the wolf" smoothie - it unfortunately was not to his taste and did not have an appealing flavour (don't order it if you want to save your tastebuds some trauma). However, the young bearded guy working/sitting in there (not sure if it was the manager or owner perhaps?) had an awesome attitude and swapped it for another one. Wish we had a moment to thank him for that! Wicked service!

Yelp
Argo has the best coffee on The Parade for sure, and after consuming gigalitres of their delicious brew, I can't stand to drink much else. As a family owned business, the service is fantastic and friendly. They also make some of the best hotdogs I've ever eaten, they are gourmet style, as well as their delicious range of sandwiches, wraps, baguettes, foccacias, bagels, and burgers. Cakes and pastries abound as well. I do enjoy getting a ham and cheese croissant or bagel with my morning coffee. So if you need a coffee, or are feeling a decent lunch on the Parade, avoid Cibo, and head to Argo. Certainly a superior four letter word.

Yelp
Great cafe with lots of seating. Depending on the time, it gets very crowded but the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Their sardine salad on toast was a OK, but down to try out other dishes. They have WiFi, but might be a little loud sometimes for work.

Yelp
I love this place. I'm usually there most Saturday and some Sunday mornings without skipping a beat. It's always very busy to the point of lining up to be seated, but mostly if you're there before 9:00 you can be seated straight away. One of my favorite things is the Berry Me smoothy made with milk and honey. One thing different they serve is a Breakfast Burrito. I've had it once so far and it was superb. My favorite lunchtime dish is their Sweet Chilli Chicken Wrap. It's made with chicken snitzel, avocado, sundried tomato and a really nice mayo. It's so light yet so filling, and the wraps they use aren't soo plan.

Yelp
Aside from having to sit on the kerb side table and defend my food from waves of bus exhaust as they drive past, hide behind the pole and not be seen by staff and then charged extra for the GF menu listed item... It was a great cafe that appealed to me for other reasons. The menu was huge, their food philosophy appealed to my style of eating with GF DF Paleo clearly marked. A fermented acv fire shot is a great way to prep those digestive juices, Wanted greens and protein... No problem! Wanted a Paleo treat for dessert, sure! The only disappointment was that I wanted a cup of bone broth as my beverage. They serve broth but it's a huge bowl and being told the GF bread is extra when it's listed in the menu with the broth seemed a very sure way to piss a Paleo peep off.

Yelp
I think I got into Argo with a minute to spare before the hoards arrived and the queues started. I have nothing to say that hasn't been said in the other reviews, other than "ditto" and "if you have to wait for a table, it is totally worth it". Regarding customer service I was most impressed that the waitress taking away my sparklingly clean and empty plate offered me another coffee. This was sooo good because I DID want another coffee but there was no way I was going to get up and queue again.Telepathy goes a long way! If you don't go here you are clearly missing out! Really sumptuous food and not at all embarrassed or made to feel stupid when asking how to pronounce some of it!

Yelp
ARGO's is one of those places that is always busy, I haven't been to The Parade location mainly due to that reason, today I had a meeting here - we were greeted with absolutely lovely service. Throughout our meeting staff were attentitive, lovely and courteous. It was a cool autumn morning and I was in the mood for warm food to fill my rumbly tummy. The Ham and cheese croissant did not taste fresh, tastes like it had been sitting in the front counter for a day or so. I doubt that is the case, maybe it was the distinct lack of cheese that left me wondering about it's not so crispy freshness. It came out cold, despite being toasted- and for $7.90 it's teeny tiny. I am a small girl and I ate it in two bites - I paid that price and am still starving. I think if I am paying for food I should be satisfied after. The hot chocolate was the opposite of the teeny tiny croissant disappointment. I ordered the caramel hot chocolate, it came out quickly and it was delicious, now THAT is the right way to warm a cold tummy with the rumblies. The flavour wasn't just on top of the hot chocolate, but all through it. It was creamy goodness that left me happy. Overall I have my reservations about the place but the service alone would have me come back to it!

Yelp
I usually get the 'Lisa Marie' salad and it never disappoints. The falafel are amazing! There is such a great vibe, and I don't mind the short wait for a table.

Yelp
I can't fault Argo. From the array of fresh salads, burgers & focaccias for lunch to all different healthy juices and smoothies. The tea and coffee range is extensive and expertly prepared. There is an extremely tempting cake display but also a magnificent range of delicious healthy treats like bliss balls that are replenished daily. The wait for a table particularly on weekends may be 10 or so minutes but is well worth it. The staff are attentive and always cheerful. Nothing is too much for them and they manage to turnover tables quickly without making customers feel pressured. I can't highly recommend this place enough and my only wish is that I could visit every single day.

Yelp
Enjoyable atmosphere, although it gets crowded on weekends. Argo serves vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options, catering for everyone's needs. They have delicious food and drinks with a massive menu that will make it difficult to decide what to order. I personally love their superhero lattes menu, they offer a bunch of 'alternative lattes' if you're looking for tasty beverages in place of coffee.

Yelp
This place is super popular... On a Saturday morning at 10:30am the line was out the door and up the side street! My next effort at checking this place out was not AS busy. We waited to be seated this time for only a moment or two but the place was absolutely hectic and LOUD! They don't take your order from your table... This is great when you would otherwise have to split the bill. The coffee I thought was AMAZING! I got a chicken and avo sandwich, which price wise, was pretty average but OMG! Soooo filling and a great amount of bang for those extra bucks. This is definitely the place to be for all the cool kids and, quite frankly, anyone who is anyone in the Norwood area. Defs worth checking out.

Yelp
Okay, so I might one of the only few who doesn't love Argo! I had heard good things...so while in the neighbourhood on a sleepy Sunday arvo, we came here for a quick drink and nibble - we got a Mango smoothie each and the brownie to share. Now the brownie was DELICIOUS - and I know my brownies - squishy in the middle, slight crisp on top - but the smoothies? Not so much. I couldn't even finish mine. To be honest, I think it was more the atmosphere and people around us that left me a bit ruffled. I felt like the odd one out because I wasn't wearing Lorna Jane gym clothes! I will say though that the food around us looked pretty damn appetising...There were some amazing looking sweet potato fries that were next to us, so I might go back even just to try them!

Yelp
I don't like giving out five stars. I don't do it very often. I think that giving five stars to places that have things they need to improve just cheapens the whole purpose of awarding stars in the first place. But, in Argo On The Parade, we have a genuine five star place to not only grab a very, very good coffee, but also some awesome food. And it's not anything exotic, either. It's just simple food, done really well, with great ingredients. My last outing had me wolfing down a chicken schnitzel burger, and a side of wedges. It sounds very boring, doesn't it? But it was absolutely beautiful, and if I could, I'd eat there every day.

Yelp
Very expensive and arrogant staff and management. Plenty of better value places to go where you're treated as a valued customer.

Yelp
I've been to this Argo only twice, but have been srsly (nope, not just seriously, srsly) impressed both times. Whilst my first visit was for an ill-fated date, my fond food memories of the day make me wonder if perhaps I'd have been better off asking the piadina out instead of the dude I was with, so warm and fuzzy did it make me feel. Second time 'round, I recruited Mum as a dining buddy (she pays for my food, she'll always love me, she doesn't mind me saying no to dessert then stealing half her lemon meringue tart... perfect). I filled my grumbly belly with a big hunkin' falafel-y, hummous-y, avocado-y, quinoa-y salad (the Lisa Marie? I think? I'm notoriously bad with names) and raised my spirits with a poiiiiifectly hot, brain sparkingly good latte. Mum had a chicken schnitzel-y focaccia and an equally ace latte, and then we shared a lemon meringue muffin. I wonder if there's anyone out there who's managed to try everything on the menu because man, that thing is packed. As well as the huge list of regular items and specials, the cabinets are packed full of well-presented, fresh-looking bits and pieces and the fridges are stocked full of delish sips. Argo suits folks all the way along the foodie spectrum from 'GIVE ME ALL OF THE BACOOOON' to 'Um, I'm actually a plant-based wholefood kinda person'. By the way, if you're the latter, just quit the bs and admit that you're a vegan, will ya? Anyway I would challenge anyone to go to Argo and not find something that tickled their fancy, but I know I'd win so wouldn't put you through the humiliation. During both of my visits, everything was served speedily and with a beaming smile, despite the place being completely packed. These guys have clearly got some good systems in place to keep the crowds (including myself) coming back again and again (even in the face of poor dates).

Yelp
OMG, this has to be one of the best on the parade. With many options in Norwood, I guess the one that provides, excellent service, great coffee, consistent delivery of quality food, and a fantastic atmosphere is bound to become popular and busy. None the less i visit Argo at least 3 times a week and I am never disappointed, a coffee and fresh juice from Argo no matter what the day, is a good start to my day. Now remember I mentioned popular, I did this because week days, weekends, this place is sure to be busy, ok this can be annoying if you want a table straight away, or you expect you can just walk in and sit down, but somethings in life are worth waiting for, and in my opinion this is definitely one of them! To me if a cafe can get it right, day in and day out despite being one of the most visited and popular cafes on the parade then it is a winner. Having eaten here at least 100 times since they have opened, I would say 99 times it was pot on, they are good odds in anyones eyes. The quality of ingredients are great ,the options are endless and there is always something new to try. For breakfast, try the Argo Big Breakfast, if you can eat it all you are doing better than me, the flavours are amazing, the ingredients as fresh and as tasty as they come, the star of the breakfast for me has to be the eggs, I have mine scrambled and they are some of the best I have eaten. I also recommend a fresh juice, be adventurous and if unsure or can't make up your mind, say surprise me, I have not been disappointed with one yet. Despite it being busy and popular, once you have a table and have ordered, it is surprisingly quick. I think the staff do an amazing job in keeping this place going, from finding you a table, to taking your order, preparing it and getting it to you, I have yet to be frustrated, annoyed or upset, why because it is the food and service I long remember and go back for, not the having to sometimes wait for a table, notice it is always the table I mention waiting for, everything else works like clock work, sip your coffee, talk to your partner, date, business associate and watch the world go down the parade while you wait, this should not bother anyone, unless of course you don't really have much to say to the person you went with, then maybe you should go with someone else :) The atmosphere, vibe and experience, is something you expect from the most happening place on the parade, every now and then you are treated to some opera singing, if your lucky enough to be around on those special moments. It sometimes feels cramped but that's because it is popular, to me that's what makes it Argo. Argo reminds me of dining on Chapel street in Melbourne, and for me it does not get much better than this place.

Yelp
Argo was the location for brunch with friends for me this morning. First impressions were very good. It certainly had a hype about it. The place was absolutely packed, with people having to queue outside for 15-20 minutes to get in. However, once we were in the service was quick and the food was great. I think I will definitely be adding this to my list of fav brunch places. I couldnt decide what I wanted this morning, so I ordered the lot. I had a pot of green tea, which was really cute, because it came with a little green egg timer, to show how long I should let the tea steep for. I also ordered fruit salad (which was a beautiful mix of seasonal fruit) and French Toast, which came served with caramalised bananas and Yoghurt, The french toast was to die for but alas, most of the bananas ended up on the side of the plate (just not my sort of thing apparently) Ooh and I almost forgot - I had a freshly made juice also - which was delicious!! All in all the experience was great. And the atmosphere was too. I also loved the fact that even though they were packed, we didnt feel like we were being rushed out the door the second we put down our knife and fork. All too often in places like this, when they are as busy as Argo was this morning - they are all over you, trying to get you out the door so that they can get someone else into your seats. However, on this occasion, nothing could have been further from the truth. The people who were waiting were happy to keep waiting until a table became available - and the staff were happy to let us sit and chat while finishing our coffees (or in my case, tea) I will definitely be heading back to Argo very soon!! :)

Yelp
Breakfast here seemed like a great idea at the time. It's a glorious Sunday morning and the weather is fine. It wasn't as packed ( to begin with) when we first arrived which was a bonus and so we go a table outside. Loving the extensive list of hot beverages I really could not go past a 70% Ecuadorean Dark Hot Chocolate. I can't remember the last time I had chocolate in any form, it's been awhile. "Say what?!" You say? It's also been awhile since I had smoked salmon (yes, really a true story, sad one I know) and ordered the Salmon Brioche with Poached Eggs. My Dad ordered a coffee and the Omelette with some smoked salmon on the side. When the wait staff came over to hand over our drinks, originally I thought she had the wrong table. But the order of the drinks was correct. So why at a seated section of the cafe are you bringing our drinks on saucers in large takeaway cups?! It was really an awkward and confusing moment and found myself saying lightly under my breath, "huh?" Roughly several minutes later my breakfast arrived. It looked good but didn't have a wow factor in presentation. I didn't want to be rude and begin eating without my Dad having his meal, so I waited. 10 minutes have passed and so I tell my Dad I need pepper for my food and walk up to staff and query as to how far away the omelette will be as it's been quite sometime. A couple minutes later it arrived at the table, nice and piping hot. I wish I could've said the same for my now cold breakfast. I do love warm hollandaise and egg yolks but alas this morning it wasn't to be. Over hearing other tables complaining about meals not coming out at same time shows that something was seriously not up to scratch this morning. I liked the food, I especially liked the hot chocolate, even if served in a takeaway cup for a dine-in experience. I will be back again one day BUT please for the love of good food and the people that eat it, bring out the meals together or just moments apart!!

Yelp
The ARGO is a modern style cafe, with good seating configurations, modern table and chairs, with a long serving counter down one side. When it comes to food choices, amazing, nothing short of staggering, The menu options seemed endless. Eg Classic Plates, Breakfast Sandwiches, Small Argonauts Breakfast, Breakfast Desserts, Focaccia's, Piadina,Wraps, Rolls, Salads,Light meals, Hot Stuff, Burgers, Hot Dogs, Cold drinks & Gelato, and the list goes on and on. From the display cabinet I chose a very well prepared fresh home styled Frittata, with coffee. excellent choice. Surrounded by the busy hum of happy customers, you could well understand why this place is so popular. Good call

Yelp
Very disappointed with our visit to Argo this morning. It was about 10am, not very busy and the food (basic bacon and eggs) took over 30 minutes to come out. Our food was overcooked and had no flavour. Very disappointing!! As the food always takes 30 minutes to an hour to come out and it's very loud we won't be returning again

Yelp
People rave about this place. Let's face it. The food is great. Fresh. Vegan options. Paleo etc. But in my honest opinion its too much for me. Too busy. Too many options. I've had to let my friend pick for me as even the menu was overwhelming.

Yelp
Definitely worth the line up! I haven't had something here I don't like yet! The juices and coffee are definitely my favourite, and you can't leave without trying the sweet potato fries. I haven't had a chance to try breakfast yet, mostly just tried the burgers and salads. They have been variable in how good they are but have all been average-amazing. Finally somewhere I can take my partner to without having to sacrifice my healthy living!

Yelp
Lots of good healthy options. Always packed full of people. The vegetarian burger I had was a bit ehhh... It was like those cheap vege patties you get in the frozen food aisle of the supermarket. They serve Monastery Coffee, which I believe the owner of Argo also owns. It was pretty good. I'll go back even though both times I've been there the woman who served me was a bit rude. She wasn't aware that some places don't charge extra for soy and replied "of course" when I asked if they did.

Yelp
Argo has a VERY extensive, informative tea menu. As for food, there's something for everyone - soup, salad, breakfast, wraps, hot dogs, juices, smoothies, sandwiches, cakes etc etc. Healthy, fresh and lovely; this is not a place with a large menu full of crap. Beware of peak hours and weekends as it gets busy! They're also too polite to ask people to hurry the hell up... A very feel good place. Check out the recycled water tap/flush system in the bathroom. There's a list on the door of all the local charities/teams they support. They have Adelaide City free Internode wi-fi and it's never cut out.... True story.

Yelp
I love Argo, but the fact is that with such a huge menu, the food is invariably hit and miss. You'll have to line up, but the staff do their best to move the line along in an efficient manner and they're always friendly. Some of the food I absolutely love (the smashed avocado for example is a favourite, although I'm not a fan of the new salsa they add into the equation), but some of it is just plain bleh. I've had a few burgers and inevitably keep coming back to the old favourite because they end up being so disappointing. That being said, my favourites from the menu are always a win. Try the sweet potato fries or the ninja juice and you'll be happy. I also enjoy the takeaway options (particularly the CADA). Bottom line: don't write it off if you go once and don't like what you order. There's plenty more to try!
