Argyle Falls

Went on a Sunday afternoon, easy walk/hike through rainforest and the waterfall opens up in front of you. Didn't need a guide but would give some great insight along the way. RD also just past the bar making handcrafted art from bamboo and fire. Would recomment stopping for a chat, even if not buying the art.

An hour’s drive from Crown Point and you’re immersed in nature. It seems a guide is always required and we got one who directed us off the beaten path so that we could hike down along three levels of falls (rather than hike up). If you drive there yourself, there will be a bunch of guides waiting near the entrance so there’s no real need to book/call ahead unless you want to patronize a specific guide. Ours was friendly, patient and gave us bananas from his land. The most impressive part of the falls was how clean it was. It’s likely that visitors are good about keeping their own trash; it really elevated the experience of enjoying nature.

Well maintained trail. The waterfall was beautiful with multiple layers to explore. Walk with a life jacket(for none swimmers) to get the full experience of the pools. You pay a fee at the bar to enter the trail. $50 pp for locals and $60 pp for foreigners

Beautiful three tier waterfall, with a pool to swim in underneath. It's a short easy hike through the jungle to reach it. Entry fee to access the trail is TT$30. You can walk the trail on flip flops or barefoot, but would recommend shoes, especially for the part close to the falls and if you want to climb to the higher tiers. It was not busy when we were there, but I can imagine it will be crowded when there are cruise ships at the island.

Had a great experience Mr Brooks was an awesome tour guide. Very knowledgeable on plants effectives. Waterfall are beautiful wish I could seen the top but to much of a hike and no time

Back in Tobago with 18 family and friends this year. Argyle Falls is always a must and we go there before it got crowded so had it to ourselves. There had been a lot rain so the pool was a little cloudy but that didn’t stop the fun 🇹🇹❤️🇹🇹❤️🇹🇹❤️🇹🇹

Three-tiered waterfall. The main lake is up to 6m deep. You can swim there, jump from second floor and feed the fish. 60ttd entrance includes guide who shows you the way from parking. It is about 20minutes trek thru jungle, crossing small river by feet.

So calm and peaceful Would definitely recommend wearing sneakers if you would like to hike higher up the waterfall. Water is a bit muddy after rainfall but otherwise a great 10-15 hike.
