Could not recommend this b&b highly enough. If it were possible then it would be a 10. We stayed here 2 nights and Dianne was very welcoming and very knowledgeable regarding the area. The egg royale was perfect as was the porridge, made the traditional way too.
The room was very comfortable even including locally brewed whisky. Everything was a short stroll away or a few gusts away due to storm Amy!!! Would recommend Argyle Guest house.

This is one of the best B & B we have stayed at. We had a very warm and friendly welcome by the owner Diane. The rooms were nicely decorated, well equipped and very cosy and impeccable clean. Breakfast with cereals, fruits, freshly baked bread etc and a selection of hot dishes. |After only one night we have decided to come back for a 3-4 days stay and discover more of the areas around Pitlochry.

Enjoyed everything about our stay at Argyle House. Rooms were comfy and spacious, breakfast was delicious, and the owner was especially friendly and welcoming. There was even complimentary local whisky in the room! It’s in a great location across the road from a free car park and with beautiful hills and scenery all around. Great place to stay!

Fully enjoyed our stay! Our hosts, Diane and Steve, were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Diane took initiative to tell us about the area, find out what our interests were, and gave us ideas for where to explore each day that we were there. We also enjoyed a very delicious breakfast every day with freshly cooked English breakfast of our choice, and free servings of cornflakes, bread and jam, and drinks. The people we met in the village of Tomintoul were also very friendly and helpful.
