Argyle Motor Lodge

Warmly greeted on arrival. Older style motel but bathroom updated. Good shower and hot water. Handy to cafes, etc. tv and aircon worked. Comfy beds and electric blankets and property was quiet. We had a good night’s sleep. Free wifi and parking. We would stay there again next time In Hobart.

It is an older style motel but it is immaculately kept. It gets an A++ for cleanliness. The staff are lovely and the reception staff member was friendly, incredibly helpful and just plain nice! The location is superb - close to the inner city and surrounded by so many fantastic places to eat. There is an on site laundry for guests, that was so convenient. The room was spacious and well appointed. We stayed there for two weeks and found nothing lacking.

We were very happy with our stay here. Room was clean and comfortable, reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Undercover parking available for motorcycles too. The motel room decor is a little dated but the bathroom appeared to have been recently renovated. In room wifi worked well. We will definitely stay here again. Book directly with reception for the best rate.

Clean rooms, great staff, no issues with WiFi, good parking and close to town. My go to every time when travelling down to Hobart.

Very convenient location and easy to access any major sightseeing spots. The motel keeps things clean and tidy. Great size of rooms and very happy with the customer service. Has got amenities, towels, tea/coffee, plates, cutlery, microwave, dishwashing liquid and some towels. Amazing service for the price. Just a bit noisy from the road when traffic passes and noise from neighbours as the wall is thin. Other than that, very happy with the accommodation.

Very appreciative of the managers of this motel, after arriving in Hobart and going to the accommodation we had booked, which was unsuitable, the lovely manager was able to accommodate us for the 2 nights. The manager went that extra step to ensure you had a great stay with them. Highly recommended, the rooms are clean and comfortable with all the necessary bits and bobs to make a coffee and a light breakfast We have booked for a further 3 nights before we leave for Brisbane.

Polite and friendly staff, with a very clean and tidy environment. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos before we used the room. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a clean place, though it’s a bit noisy.
