Argyle Motor Lodge

Very appreciative of the managers of this motel, after arriving in Hobart and going to the accommodation we had booked, which was unsuitable, the lovely manager was able to accommodate us for the 2 nights. The manager went that extra step to ensure you had a great stay with them. Highly recommended, the rooms are clean and comfortable with all the necessary bits and bobs to make a coffee and a light breakfast We have booked for a further 3 nights before we leave for Brisbane.

A gem!!! The motel is great to stay in, here for 2 nights and we are coming back again and staying for 3 nights over Easter. The room is spacious, clean, that’s a plus. Everything for breakfast, kettle, toaster, microwave etc. the queen bed is super comfortable.Handy to shops, restaurant etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this motel.

The Lodge was simple but complete with basic necessities that a traveler would need. It has a small fridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, kettle and hair dryer. Staff are very accomodating and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. Tea, Cofee, Sugar and Biscuits are free daily if needed. The place is quiet and you can get a good night sleep after a long busy day out. Most important is that the place is close to everything like the city CBD, pier, market and all kinds of restaurants and bar. I highly recommend this Argyle Motor Lodge in Hobart.

We stayed in Executive Queen room Feb 2024. Could not fault this room, it was very clean, very quiet, and very comfortable. Comfy queen bed, full adult-sized bathtub (shower over bath) small desk, small dining setting, comfortable 3-seater lounge. Distant glimpses of beautiful Hobart harbour. Thank you for a most comfortable stay.

Comfortable and clean motel. Good sized family room. Staff friendly. A short walk (10-15 mins) from North Hobart restaurant strip on Elizabeth street. Some good (partially obstructed by trees) views of Hobart downtown from the upper rooms

I stayed 5 nights for work and cannot fault this place! I generally have trouble sleeping while I’m away, but man, I have slept like a baby! Also the staff here are amazing - cannot do enough for you. Easy access to the North Hobart strip, with a raft of restaurants. Must admit I just went to the Queens Head Hotel - amazing food at an amazing price.

You can tell a lot about a motel by the toilet paper they use, and this place had soft but strong paper in place, so off to a good start.This place isn't going to win any style awards any time soon, but it doesn't need to - it's a place to sleep, with good ckean sheets and a comfy mattress. It does what it says on the tin and is solid affordable accommodation.

Spent 4 nights here . Fantastic . Location was great . It was close to everything you want . Rooms were extremely clean . Staff were lovely and polite and helpful . Beds were really comfy . And the price was great . Ample parking . Will definitely be back when I come to Hobart . No downsides .
