Nice rustic Inn with beautiful and tranquil views of the bay. Breakfast was excellent and worth eating at the lodge. Our first night we stayed in room #6 and the bed was not very comfortable- creaked whenever you moved. The next night we were upgraded to the outdoor cottages at an extra charge which was worth it for us. The cottages are super quaint- spacious with a little kitchen and sitting area inside and outside. Bed was súper comfortable. The property is quiet and lovely.

This place is now one of my favs. Service was over-the-top IMO. Communication was great when I was arriving much later than anticipated. The setting is nothing short of spectacular as well. I would have happily stayed here all week. Staff was extremely friendly, the grounds were immaculate, and the setting quaint. Not really a place for kids but awesome for a romantic getaway.

Beautiful views and location right on a wonderful bay with lovely breezes off the ocean. There are lots of chairs to relax on the porch, or in the grass in front of the shore. The restaurant is great, loved their seafood chowder. Every seat has ocean view. The sunset after dinner was amazing. Our room did not have view of the ocean and was small. The bed was bad, and should be replaced. Good nescafe machine in the room for coffee, and with a fridge. The bathroom cabinet had zero shelf space to put any toiletries at all. There was space for a shelf or wider cabinet so there would be at least some flat surface, but alas, not there. Did not appreciate having to put everything on the floor. Ac unit worked well. If they had a better bed and a shelf in the bathroom, I would give higher rating. Only 6 rooms, we had #6. Don't stay in that room ....

About one-half hour from the ferry landing so very convenient We were late getting in, but were warned that we might be (customs). Although we were not personally welcomed, the key was right were we were told. Our room was great and very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer! Breakfast in the am (at an addtl. cost (I believe $18 each) was delicious!

Owner/staff is very hospitable. The cabin we stayed in, view of the water, was great. Breakfast was really good. We did the lobster boil on the beach, and being we are from Louisiana, we would have loved less garlic and more seasoning. Highly recommend that you stay the night and do the lobster boil on the beach.

We had the Argyler host and cater our wedding and we had the best experience! All throughout the planning process they were fast and helpful in answering all our questions. They helped us make our day exactly how we dreamt it would be. The food was amazing! We had haddock and chicken and they were a bit hit! It also made our lives so much easier that they are a one stop shop! My girls stayed on the property the night before and got ready right there which made the day flow so much better. Ceremony and reception all there also! Cannot recommend them enough! We will continue to visit the restaurant to relive our special day again and again!

The location is spectacular with the front porch and chairs over looking the water. But, the big but, is the bed, the worst bed we have ever slept in, we both rolled to the centre all night, even when we were not even on the bed, it had a visible concave to the centre, then the air conditioning was a unit sitting on the floor, real noisy to say the least. The food was ok, we ate dinner and breakfast there.

My husband and I spent our last night at this lovely secluded inn before heading to the CAT ferry in Yarmouth the following morning. This place is a gem! I enjoyed a stroll through their small garden, sitting on their wide porch reading my book, admiring the water view as the sun set. We had a lovely dinner.
