Argyll Hotel

Another visit to this very friendly hotel. We are always greeted warmly and like old friends. |We were making the most of the December Deal which was excellent value. |The food, as usual, was delicious and very well presented, both at Breakfast and Dinner. |Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. |All the staff are courteous and helpful making sure you have the best possible stay.|Hope to visit again soon.

You should never drive past this place. Food, rooms and hospitality are excellent. It's always busy so best book if you're coming for a meal.

A superb small hotel right on the beach at Bellochantuy. Spotlessly clean, incredibly good food and just the right amount of attention to detail. Spectacular views of Islay, Jura and Gigha from the terrace and the dining room. Our every need was catered for and nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts. This really is a gem of a place and we definitely intend to return.

We stayed here for 2 nights and wished we had more time to extend our stay. |The hotel is stylish yet cosy with a welcoming vibe, it has a lovely lounge to read and hang out, and a dining room with an unbelievable view. |The breakfasts are spectacular and set you up for a day of beach walks and exploring. And then back to have a dram of Glen Scotia whiskey before dinner, which are tasty and hearty. |If you want an escape by the sea and want your comforts, this is the spot.

10/10. Amazing food which included original and delicious vegan and veggie choices. An unbeatable view as the terrace is right next to the beach and dining is in the conservatory with views over Islay, Jura and Gigha. Great service and friendly staff. Also great for wildlife spotting. Perfect.

Fabulous sandy beach easily accessible from hotel terrace. V dog friendly warm welcome. Comfortable seating areas next to bar & adjacent to conservatory restaurant. Warm room & easy to adjust temperature. Decent shower. Small but comfortable room. Kettle tea/coffee making facilities in room. |Parking in front of hotel & extra spaces a few metres further along.|Excellent service & food.|Short drive to Westport Machrihannish beach Ano excellent sandy beach.||Would recommend.
