Was competing on the Mach 1 stages rally over at Macharish and book here for one night|I was astounded by the beautiful views and coastline, a real gem of a location|I had a lovely compact room on the ground floor with a gigantic bathroom complete with walk in shower|All facilities provided including tra and coffee, fresh milk and short bread biscuits.|I had a meal in the restraunt over looking the beach|I ordered bbq chicken wings and were very tasty then my main coarse chose the haddock chips with mushy peas which again was delicious. |Then I manage a chocolate cheesecake with vanilla ice cream again a delight to eat.|I you get chance to visit do so, I only wish I could return |By the way this hotel is dog friendly.

We came to this establishment at the recommendation of a friend who lives locally and we really liked it here. Although the room we stayed in was small, there was still enough room to do what needed to be done. The lounge and dining areas were very nice and would no doubt be very scenic in the right conditions, but that is of course up to Mother Nature, nonetheless, the sound of the waves and the birdlife out on the beach was lovely. We had breakfast while we stayed, and the servings were very generous (way too much for us small eaters😊), and the food was delicious. All the staff couldn’t do enough and were a big plus to the stay.

This charming hotel is a fantastic place to stay especially if traveling with canine companions. It’s right on the beautiful beach and the hosts are very helpful and friendly - it is a very relaxing place to chill out and enjoy the stunning views. Rooms with sea views are clean comfortable and both breakfast and dinner are excellent. Dogs are allowed in the bar/dining area and are treated like VIPs. We will definitely return and recommend to anyone visiting the area for a stay or great dining experience. The perfect retreat to bring a pup.

I spent an overnight with my dad for Father's Day from the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The views of the beach are something els. We loved what they have done with this hotel with great pieces of furniture and quirky bits and pieces. The dinner and breakfast has no faults and the comfortable rooms with cosy beds made us feel at home. We loved the fact we can just step out and walk on the beach. There was a great atmosphere and we highly recommend this lovely hotel to anyone travelling to Kintyre, you won't be disappointed.

Visited the restaurant for dinner during a weekend stay in Campbeltown. Starters were amazing! The mussels were definitely the best I’ve ever had and the filo pasty haggis in peppercorn sauce my husband had was delicious. Mains unfortunately weren’t so great. The steak pie beef should’ve been melt in the mouth but it really could’ve done with another half an hour cooking in my opinion. I had the Sunday roast and the beef was way overcooked for my taste but to be fair I had been told that it was cooked medium/well so my fault really that I didn’t listen and enjoy it. |Dessert of cheesecake was lovely. |I’d definitely go again as the atmosphere is so welcoming the starters were sublime as was dessert. I’ll listen to the advice given next time and be more discerning about my food selection in regard to the mains. |Thank you to the owners for their warm welcome and making our afternoon so enjoyable.

We visited for a meal with some friends on a Saturday afternoon, food was excellent and good value, service was great. Very welcoming staff. Dining area was clean and tables well spaced out so not sitting on top of each other. Lovely outlook onto beach, will return.|

Another visit to this quaint hotel. In recent years we have been fairly regularly so are well known to most of the staff. They are all very welcoming and do their best to make sure you have a wonderful stay. |Although the rooms are small, they are comfortable and compact. |The food is superb, both at Breakfast and Dinner, and always very nicely presented. |It is always a treat to sit out on the terrace enjoying the sunshine or watching the stunning sunsets.

Went here for the day with my friend, had such a lovely lunch and even better seaside experience. The beach is so clean as is the hotel & the owners let us play chess outside with our drinks then I ordered the Cheeseburger and chips which was delicious. 5 Stars isn't enough this experience was 10/10 <3
