Our server was absolutely fantastic—attentive, kind, and on top of everything throughout the entire meal. Unfortunately, what should have been a great experience ended on a very sour note.
After spending over $100 on our meal, we were asked to leave almost immediately after paying. One person in our party went to the restroom while the rest of us waited at the table for approximately four minutes. During that time, our server came back and told us the manager wanted us to “take it into the lobby because they needed the table.”
To be clear: we were not lingering, lingering loudly, or lingering excessively. It had literally only been a few minutes since we paid. Being rushed out like that—especially after an expensive meal—felt unnecessary and uncomfortable.
I’ve never had an experience where a restaurant asked us to vacate a table that quickly, particularly when someone in our party was still using the restroom. It completely overshadowed what had otherwise been a pleasant meal and reflects poorly on management, not the server.
Great food and a wonderful server, but the way this was handled left a bad taste and made us feel unwelcome at the end of our visit
