While we thoroughly enjoyed the modern design of this hotel and the room, it did come with a few issues.
The lighting system in the room is complicated. In the bathroom everything is either off with a small night light, or everything is on.
Same with the rest of the room unless you turned some off before turning the main light switch off. Bit confusing.
The ventilation in the bathroom was very poor, so our towels didn't dry.
It did not help the matter that mid stay the main AC got turned off. We tried cooling the room for night (21°C), for hours, and it just got hotter. When it got to 27° we called reception and they told us the AC was set to winter mode now so we had to turn it off and sleep with the window open - and noise and light. Otherwise the room was fabulously soundproofed!
Major props to front desk who communicated about our AC issue and morning shift was aware and took care of it by providing us with a fan the next night.
The spa should honestly be included in the room price. 30€ + 3€ mandatory slippers is just too much for what you get - hot jacuzzi pool, cooler pool and a "cold plunge" that was more like +15°. Also there is no proper sauna, only a couple infrared cubicles. The water and clean cups had ran out and we had to step outside to ask for more from reception.
The spa had no hooks to hang robes/towels so it was awkward to set them on top or inside cupboards hoping no one mixes them up.
Gym was great which is a rarity! Four different spaces for different needs. Wifi does not work there.
The hotel is located outside the center but honestly, it's not an issue with how often the bus runs. Super convenient.
Breakfast was enough albeit a little "cold" feeling because of limited choices compared to other breakfasts we had during our trip. Maybe make this one a little less design-y...
