We spent two nights here at the end of a 13-day trip that included a cruise, and found this hotel to be a great value. It’s moderately priced and well located—an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and public transportation. By American standards, the hotel felt familiar in comfort and amenities.||We arrived early and appreciated the professional, accommodating staff who stored our luggage until our room was ready. The lobby area was pleasant for waiting. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a standard U.S.-sized bed (two XL twins combined) and a modern bathroom. One small drawback: the tub/shower has only a partial glass screen, so some water tends to splash out, and washcloths aren’t provided. Otherwise, housekeeping was great—beds made and bathroom refreshed daily.||Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of options including fresh pastries, homemade yogurt, eggs, and delicious Greek specialties like olives and dried fruits.||The hotel is located on a quieter side street about a 5-minute walk from Monastiraki Square, where we enjoyed charming restaurants and shopping. While the location was very convenient, the street itself is bordered by some vacant buildings with graffiti and uneven sidewalks, which initially felt a bit run-down and gave us a moment of unease. However, this seemed fairly typical of many areas we encountered throughout Athens, and we still felt comfortable walking during the day and early evening.||A bonus is the rooftop seating area with a lovely view of the Agora and Parthenon — a great spot to unwind.||Overall, a clean, convenient, and enjoyable place to stay — an excellent base for exploring Athens.
