Perhaps we just came on a busy night and had the misfortune of not seeing or tasting what everyone did, but I honestly could not recommend this place if we were to base it off food and service.
Came in on a busy Valentine's Day dinner night and we waited about 15-20 minutes for our drinks. We understand how busy places can get so we kept our patience. We did have some pumpkin soup for starters, which was delicious, but then we waited a full hour after that until our entrees arrived. We sat there...watching all the other couples on either sides of us (we were seated in a middle table) receive their food though they arrived much later than we did and begin ordering dessert before our meals even touched our tongues.
Boyfriend ordered a lamb dish and received a very dry hunk of meat, but mine was pretty tasty. I ordered the Bifteki, but the amount of sauce it comes with is pretty small and though I could have asked for more, I figured I would be waiting a long time for even that so I did not bother and just ate more than half my meat dry.
Then came the dessert, which I did not finish. It was some bread crumb with vanilla ice cream, and the waiter who was serving us finally took notice and was kind enough to ask if there was something wrong with the dish. I had to be brutally honest and say it was just not very good.
So, in conclusion, the staff were very kind and I hate to leave such a bad review, and again perhaps we just came on a bad night, but I truly cannot recommend as I have tried such other great Greek restaurants ( I LOVE LOVE LOVE Greek food). But I will say that perhaps one day we will give it another shot, and I can see that this place is probably better for larger group patrons, as that was what a majority of the people in the restaurant were. But again, I cannot recommend until perhaps after that second try.
