Too pricey with its condition, only accepted cash. Seemed because I was not Turkish. The room and towels should be cleaner, ceiling badly creaking when the other guest staying on the upper level. Breakfast is very simple, no drinking water provided

Lovely hotel in a traditional house. Right in the heart of the old town with an accessible free parking lot close by. Great for visiting the acropolis. Breakfast is not a buffet but a Turkish traditional it is delicious and host very kind. Bed was comfy shower leaked a bit but nothing to bad.

Aristonicus Boutique Hotel is on the slope below the acropolis. Follow signs to the acropolis. There is a car park next to the hotel. Drive towards the acropolis then turn left up a cobbled street and the car park is just past the hotel, which is painted pink.|| Aristonicus Boutique Hotel is a in adjoining traditional buildings. There are steep steps and uneven paving to navigate around the hotel, as expected for a historic building. Period fixtures and fittings add to the charm. The iron bed was comfortable. The ensuite had soft towels and toiletries. Plenty of warm water. Everything clean. Warmth from the air conditioning unit was barely adequate on a cold night. I used the bedding from both beds for one bed. There was a view over the Red Basilica and the city.||There was no kettle or water in the room. Drinks would be available at other times of year, but for this winter stay in a quiet season things were not fully functioning. The restaurant was closed.| Breakfast was served to the table and there was plenty to eat. The usual Turkish breakfast with cheeses, pastries, cold meats, salad, preserves and fried eggs. A good start to the day. At warmer times there is a courtyard option for breakfast seating.||It is an easy walk to the Red Basilica and into the old part of the city. It is also a short walk to Akropolis Restaurant or the cable car, but a steep climb up to the ancient city on the acropolis. ||Good value and warm welcome in a historic building meaning the experience is greater than just a place to spend the night.

We spent a couple of wonderful nights there in September. A lovely, quiet oasis, in the older part of the city. Very close to the Acropolis and the Red Basilica. Great and well appointed ‘roomy’ room with a courtyard to enjoy. Extremely friendly and helpful staff who serve up a great breakfast as well. Totally recommended!

Not sure why there are negative comments about breakfast as it was fabulous and very filling! Staff are friendly, helpful and eager to communicate despite language barriers. We stayed 3nts and loved Bergama. The old town where the hotel is is wonderful for walking around, although you will find lots of steep roads that'll take your breath away....literally. lots of photography opportunities and ruins to explore. We had a suite which was great for the extra room. Wifi was good, service great, room needs some maintenance but overall I'd recommend.

Very clean and comfortable room with beautiful view and delicious traditional breakfast! Cordial host and hostess met all our needs. The historic home is in the heart of the village allowing guests to experience life in a village. Quirky but charming inn with lots of steps.

Stylish boutique pension located right at the Akropolis. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay - big variety of foods served outside in the charming patio. However our room was small and the cleaning standards could be higher. The staff doesn’t speak English but was really friendly and welcoming.

The hotel was helpful at first and the building is very nice, yet we were unlucky as there was no electricity since early morning (looked like load shedding in the area). Before it went off, the aircon was too weak for the room size. We were able to check out early and got an email confirmation that our booking was changed to one night. We were subsequently charged for 3 (!) nights on the credit card.
