ARKbar Beach Club & Resort

Located in the busiest town. Booked 2 nights stay in the weekend 29 & 30 March and expect to enjoy better music and vibe of the club. Unfortunately, the DJ's set lacked energy, with awkward and rough transitions that killed the vibe. The crowd remained cold, barely reacting to the uninspired track selection. Imagine standing in the dance floor with confusion towards music played. Please change your DJ. Will not return for a stay in future. Fire show is good. Engaging with the public. Food is expensive. Drinks are sold at a fair rate. Came with friends, some hotel room door have defect. Service crew is helpful but still a little annoying as it interrupted our plans. Receptionist and guards are helpful and friendly. If you want to visit the club. May just book hotel nearby and walk in the club for free. But no food and drinks allowed into the club.

The venue set up is amazing but they don’t care about animal cruelty. They hire men to walk around with live iguanas and let all the drunk people manhandle them for the sake of a picture. We were there for hours and it never stopped. The iguanas were in shock from being thrown around on peoples heads for hours on end just for a laugh. It shouldn’t be allowed in the venue and they have the authority to ban it but they choose not to. Please stop abusing live animals for entertainment.

I have arrived late in the evening. It was easy to get from the airport. From my room you can still hear somewhat the beach bar noise. The room size is quite spacious for a solo traveller. Room amenities for an overnight stay is also reasonable. The price that I got it is quite reasonable for the room quality, service and the accessibility of the hotel.

Very good rooms, great swimming pool with direct access to the sea. Noise from the music was not a problem at all at night. Kind staff, however the housekeeping needs to be improved. Sometimes they don't come or mistake something for trash and toss it away. Overall a good experience with this hotel, would come back here.

I stayed at ArkBar for 3 nights and after 3 nights extended with 4 more nights so in total I was there for a week! Arkbar is a great place if you love the pool, party and great environment. Every night there is party goin on at the beach area until 2am so a lot of ppl outside the hotel are coming which is nice so u get to know more ppl and party if u like! The party is fun for a night or two but for me staying there a full week it was too much and they are playing the same playlist, lol. The party is nice but nothing special and after 2 nights…it’s the same and not fun anymore. The food near the pool is tasty and also their milkshakes. The stuff is nice and helpful, one time I had a cockroach inside my room, I almost freaked out, I texted the stuff if someone can come help me (it was midnight) they send someone right away, he sprayed the cockroach and took him out of my room. They clean my room everyday and bring you 2 bottle of water. I enjoyed staying at this hotel, great price per night and good location. Thank you so much I’ll definitely be back!

Ask for a room far away from the nightclub if you don’t love that kind of music. They very graciously moved me the next day. Headphones blocked out about 90% of it. The friendliest staff I have encountered in Ko Samui, which is really saying something. The restaurant is good value, considering the beachside location. Simple food done perfectly. You couldn’t be any more central, it is definitely on my shortlist for a rebook.

Frequently visited venue. Good vibe, DJ beat, cool crowd, dance & fire show, decent food & drink. Very popular tourist spot. Car Parking available, with 500 baht voucher

Recently stayed at this hotel, perfectly situated in the heart of the city. The party atmosphere was electric! While the food was just okay, the engaging fire show by the beach was a highlight. Rooms were great value for money. However, service could be improved. Overall, a fun stay with some areas for growth. 4/5 stars.
