Stayed here during the first week of Feb 2025. There was a fantastic welcome from the very beginning. Henrich and the team are great hosts. Breakfast is in a stunning room overlooking the mountains as the sun rises above them. Dinner is in a nice and cosy restaurant where hotel guests and dinner guests meet and mingle. The hotel is in Pratschli, right next to the slopes and lifts and very close to a ski rental shop. The bus runs frequently up to and down to Arosa. The food in the hotel is great with a different menu each evening. The rooms are cosy and comfortable.

Super nice little hotel very well located. You can ski in and out and you're right on the slopes! The food was delicious and the staff very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and the ski was amazing too !

Great traditional Swiss Chalet hotel. Friendly service and great food adjacent to the ski slopes.

Lovely hotel. Has everything we needed. Warm and clean room. Lots of storage space to unpack two big suitcases and more. Hotel is also stone throw away from the ski lift. The hosts are lovely. They made sure we had a pleasant visit and gave lots of tips and trick for day trip. I took a video and uploaded on google on how the host feeds the birds, hilarious :) The view from the restaurant is amazing

My wife and I and our two children spent 10 lovely days in this charming hotel. The hotel has a small number of rooms and is famous locally for its great restourant (the Burestubli) serving Swiss cuisine. The rooms were cozy with spectacular views and there is a lovely Suana. The food was amazing, we took the half board package (breakfast and dinner) and the evening meals were the highlight of the day. The owner/chef and staff was friendly and hospitable and could accomodate us in english. ||The hotel is situated quite high above central Arosa which is nice because you can ski in/ski out (with Pratchli lift) and you can sled down to the village on the excellent sledding track (kids loved it). It is 15 minutes by bus from the Ski School and 10 minutes from the station (Arosa has a free bus service that runs every 20 minutes throughout the day). ||The ski school and ski area is great, lots of easy runs for beginners, but also some "safe" off piste oportunities (if there has been lots of snow) and some good steep runs.||We would definitely go again.

My son and I travelled here very late in the ski season. Both of us were novice skiers and so that didn't go so well, but it was made up for by wonderful time we had in Arosa and at the Arlenwald Hotel.||||The train trip from Chur was incredible and when we got to the hotel, the room was everything you expect a Swiss room to be.||||Heinreich (the owner/manager/host) was extremely welcoming. He (and the rest of his staff) have an excellent command of English which was very good for us. He was most engaging and gave us some significant local history.||||Perhaps the biggest surprise was how fine the food was. We didn't eat anywhere else (except the local chocolate shop...)||||Our skiing did not work out so well, but the hotel provided us with some toboggans and we went on the local toboggan run. We are Australian, so this was a novelty to us. This was not a 50m run down a very mild slope. It was 700m down the side of a mountain! Amazing! Loved it. Kept going back and doing it again. (Arosa provides free bus services which was very handy)||||We had such a great time. We went for the skiing, but next time, we'll go just for the scenery and hospitality.

Henry always makes you feel special when you stay here in this amazing family run hotel/restaurant. This our third time and certainly not our last. The rooms are charming, warm and cosy and very comfortable. Not at all twee but authentic Swiss style. ||||The restaurant overlooks the forest with morning sun catching all the birds and squirrels that eat from the Arlenwald nature feeder. It is magical for children and nature lovers alike to see so many quintessential animals so close. ||||The food is the absolute highlight - from a la carte to half-board (halb Pension) everything is Homemade and top quality. The jams at breakfast, soups and pickles with Raclette are home-foraged or grown. Even the beautiful flower displays In the restaurant are local.||||Every single person who works in the hotel and restaurant is so friendly. Henry speaks perfect English as do most of the team so there is never an issue too difficult to explain- but they are also happy to let me practice my dreadful German!||||||thank you again and see you in the summer
