You can’t find a better location on The Strip in Hot Springs, than The Arlington. We’ve stayed here 3-4 times, and love the vibe. What’s great: the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, the rooms are, if not completely original, very close to what guests would have originally experienced. The 2 tiered pool alone is worth the stay. Their weekend brunch is among the best we’ve experienced, and we live in/near a city known for its culinary experiences. What’s other than great: if you can’t handle knowing you’re not the first guest in a room, it’s not for you. There are smudges on windows, and spots on the walls where the humidity has worked its will. The bathrooms have DEFINITELY seen better days (but, they’re also wonderfully authentic). The hallways give off a bit of a Shining vibe, with their low light, and, the rooms’ forest green faux louvre doors. Also, the lights are a distracting mix of original crystal, 80s fans, 90s hotel fixtures. If I’m honest, this is my biggest “huh”, but it might be my ADHD.||We booked the Capone suite the week before Christmas 2025 for my family of 5, and it was less “original” than we’d have liked, but for the price and experience, was definitely worth the small splurge (less than an average nyc room). The tub gets hot springs mineral water, and is extra long, || In short - it’s definitely worth a stay. Especially if you love history! If you travel with Lysol wipes, you’ll be okay.
