live music almost nightly, neat little bar with decent bar food selection. has different levels with stairs, plenty of indoor seating, not handicap friendly.

This place was a vibe. It was laid back and comfortable. They didn’t have a chocolatey cocktail but the bartender improvised and made me a delicious drink. It was delicious! My husband got the mushroom tacos. They were delicious, fresh and crispy. We really enjoyed our time and we will go back.

Google
This place is so much fun, the food is great and the bartender who served us, Sean, was charismatic and hilarious. We came in during a huge rush so our food took a little while but the vibes were too good to care... The live music was funky and the margaritas were delicious!

Google
I cannot say enough about the staff (owner included) and the teamwork and this bar. They have a great atmosphere and the live band was just about to play as we were leaving. The staff is friendly, prompt and worked so well together to take care of the patrons. They even had a massive party of almost 30 people, and maintained incredible service to the rest of the bar as well. They reacted quickly when I let the know a stall in the woman's restroom was outta toilet paper. We ordered the 3 tacos- flour shells fried in house stuffed with ground beef lettuce and tomato, simple and yummy. Highly recommend!

Google
We were visiting Colorado Springs during Thanksgiving week. We were looking for a casual restaurant/bar that had a band in on Friday night & found this place. We arrived at around 7 pm and glad we found a table so we can eat. We were near the bar/kitchen and still can see the band play. Enjoyed our food and the music. The price of the food & drinks were reasonable.

Google
We had an awesome experience. We stopped in, without knowing it was Jazz-collab night. We had a blast!

Google
Excellent restaurant and bar. Service Was friendly and very efficient. Sean took excellent care of us. The food was great and we tipped the kitchen staff for the food. This is a very inviting and very comfortable. I highly recommend.

Google
We had a great time listening to live music and eating good food. Awesome onion rings and $1 wings on Sundays. The garlic aioli were excellent and so were the Pikes peak heat. Manitou Springs is an amazing tourist town.

Yelp
Great spot. Phenomenal atmosphere. Host and bartender was personable and offered good service. The food was great and reasonably priced. Pro tip: if you enjoy the meal, you can tip the kitchen staff a beer.

Yelp
Excellent and comfortable restaurant and bar. Sean was a great bartender and server! The food was very good and filling. The fries did not even need ketchup they were that good. We topped the kitchen staff in beers to thank them. I highly recommend.

Yelp
We were in town for my cousin's wedding and we stopped by here twice. Once before the rehearsal dinner and once when we just had some time to kill. The taco special with the margarita was so good!! Their margaritas are strong and amazing. I also tried the lover's lane and the nachos. Everything was great. Love the vibe in here. You will have to find parking on the street but it was fine.

Yelp
Great for a quick bite after being up on Pike's Peak. The cheese curds were different but good and we loved the sliders and the patty melt. Our waitress was great too. Love that they sell one of a kind shirts that the owners thrift then add their armadillo logo on.

Ryan R.

Yelp
For the portion sizes you offer the prices make no sense. $3.50 up charge for French fries. Like really.
google avatar

Yelp
Total shitshow. Waited 30 minutes and NO SERVICE whatsoever. Put an order in at the bar when I got there, and they didn't even put a drink in my hand. Even caught the bartender's eye a couple of times, they obviously don't care.

Yelp
It is a 'dive' bar that presents itself no differently. A hodge-podge of a couple of spaces put together almost frozen in the '60s. Take a look at the bar and see if you can figure out its uniqueness. The guys that run it present a local spot that has good food, quality bands, and atmosphere out the ying yang. We walked in by accident as our intended venue had 'technical difficulties' and closed. I suspect we're not the only first-time patrons not knowing what to expect. Is there wait service or walk-up, music nightly or just weekends, the food good or plain bar food? We had sandwiches, fries, beers, and cokes. They all were delivered timely, as expected, satisfying, well presented and tasty. The Armadillo is a clean, lively music venue with attentive staff, good bar food, and all the ambience you could ever want. This place deserves all kinds of encouragement, but don't everybody go at once as I'm guessing the locals like it just the way it is.

Yelp
Standard dining, standard service. Music was a bonus, but didn't realize it when we sat down. Next thing we know we each paid a cover charge. We didn't want to be rude and leave, but I wouldn't have say down, otherwise. None the less, music was enjoyable.

Dasiya J.

Yelp
Armadillo Ranch is perfectly located in the heart of Manitou Springs, but it was a far from enjoyable experience. To start off, it took us over 10 minutes to just get menus. After receiving menus, it took another 15 minutes to get our drinks and be able to order some food. After we ordered, it took over 40 minutes to get our food (quesadillas and chicken tenders), and we were highly disappointed in the subpar excuse for food, especially the burnt chicken tenders. I don't know if our poor experience was due to our waitstaff openly taking shots behind the bar, or if this is just how they operate things here, but we will not be returning and we don't recommend.

Yelp
We heard that they have live music on Saturday nights at the Armadillo Ranch so we headed there after dinner to check the place out. The place it pretty loud with the band playing and was a little difficult to order cocktails at the bar, but once we got them we found the only table open and claimed it as ours. The band was pretty good and we stayed for a little bit. I went to use the restroom and one of the 2 stalls had the toilet completely ripped apart. I have a picture of it that I am sharing here. Kind of off putting for a restaurant. We didn't eat here, so I cannot speak to the food but overall the place was meh to me.

Yelp
This place had decent live music and an great atmosphere. We basically had already met everyone there from bar hopping up and down the street after the parade. The service was ok but they were admittedly swamped so I don't wanna be too hard on them. We were waiting for a bit for our food only to find out somebody snagged it so they had to remake our sandwiches and wings pretty quick ‍. Either way I would come back and check out more live music. Super fun

Yelp
Ok- 3 nights in Man Springs- we ate here twice! Food was great - but every employee we came was crazy hospitable. Like - it's not the norm- these folks are legit. Night 1: One employee was off-work /walking out the door & she turned around to take care of us and got us a seat. Food was great. My wife & I played Domino's at our table...asked the waiter to bring us a pen & some paper... he reaches over and grabs a pen and ticket notebook to keep score on! Thats kind of hospitality that makes you come back.- btw- I lost the pen and he brought us another one! Night 2: We showed up 9:45p maybe??..Lady behind the bar bounced out and took care of us - took orders and brought us the food & drink. She never acted "put out" and was very polite. As a customer, the experience in a place relies on those serving you- this joint did not disappoint. Btw- we missed the Music both nights because we didn't check ahead. We heard a band rehearse. They sounded legit. Eat here. if you're cool - you'll be happy.

Yelp
Fun, easygoing bar/music venue. Service is great & food is better than you'd think. Their eclectic lineup (once a saw a combo with a jazzy banjo player in his 80s) is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Couple it with the summer farmer's market for great 'slice of life' experience in Manitou.

Yelp
Vibes- immaculate server- superb Beer- cold and tasty Decor - eclectic Would recommend to a friend

Yelp
Food was great and staff was wonderful! Big party of 11 and every single order was correct and delicious.

Liam J.

Yelp
Horrible experience food was ok and service was fine but they charged me for the music which was far from good. They told us that it was a practice session or something along those lines. It was horrible and the singers were off key.
google avatar

Stephanie R.

Yelp
The food here is not great. It leaves something to be desired and their Paloma was trash.
google avatar

Mark A.

Yelp
Food (nachos) was mediocre, service was friendly but a bit slow. I would not likely go back but would definitely order something else.
google avatar

Deb T.

Yelp
Just came in for music, waiting for band to start. Place has really good vibe. Beer a little pricey. Hope music supports it. Stand by

John H.

Yelp
Great vibe and unique experience. One of the best margaritas I've ever had. The staff was courteous and helpful. Live music was fun and accessible to all ages. Love the eclectic feel. Bring your friends for a good time.

Yelp
We were staying in Manitou Springs on our way to Pikes Peak, Florrisant, and Eleven Mile Canyon. After walking around and looking at all the city had to offer, we decided to eat an early dinner at Armadillo Ranch. Our server was new, so there were some errors, but she was sweet and apologetic. They had a nice craft beer selection. We chose the Milk Stout from Left-Handed Brewery. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. It was delicious. Later into the meal, they hand a band playing which was a nice touch. My only complaint was that I wish they had air conditioning.
google avatar

Gordon S.

Yelp
Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Great staff. Laid back hip style. Great music and attitude for evening weekends. Go as you are dress code. Be you attitude. But no race, religion or politics allowed! Easy access metered parking in front.
google avatar

Mackenzie W.

Yelp
Waitress was rude af and assumed that my friend was drunk when he only had one beer. Drinks were trash and so was the bartender.
google avatar

Melody C.

Yelp
The service is crap. Upon entering, I walked to the bar and they were so busy chatting that I was ignored. And even when I began asking a question, I was interrupted by another server/bartender. First impressions are everything. I know this sounds harsh but let's be real, service is half the reason you go to a restaurant in the first place. And even if it's not half the reason, it usually makes or breaks your dining experience. I don't pay you to give me subpar service. I didn't bother even getting food, but I ordered a drink. Guy never came by at any point during my 2+ hours there to check on me. Maybe it's because I only ordered a drink? Idk. It's a cute spot in the heart of Manitou Springs, but would I come back again? Probably not. My friend was performing with his band at Armadillo Ranch so that was really the only reason I drove half an hour to this place. Let's just say it's NOT worth going out of your way for unless they have some incredible live music going on that night. TLDR; My recommendation: HARD PASS

Yelp
Visiting Colorado on vacation (love it btw) and was a very rainy day. Stopped in and felt right at home. Food was excellent and young good looking bartender/server went out of his way to make us feel welcome. All around good job and if I ever get a chance to come back to Colorado, we will return.
google avatar

Carolina B.

Yelp
Decent food in this little town. Impossible burger is good and the kids enjoyed their chicken tenders, carrots and fries. Service is hit or miss. But if you're looking for a quick bite, it was easy for us to sit down immediately and be served relatively fast.

Elissa H.

Yelp
Fun atmosphere. Food is ok. Service is below average. We're locals and feel disappointed every time we come in. Wish we could patronize this place more, but they make it hard.
google avatar

Rob P.

Yelp
James was great at the bar! Attentive and funny! I appreciate the atmosphere. Bar menu is adequate for the purpose. great time. priced right!
google avatar

Chad R.

Yelp
Assuming this place has seen better years... dingy, dirty, out dated but it's a dive bar so ok... bartender service was good but the food was trash. Would not recommend for food or live music. Hippies running businesses is fine, but someone needs to QC these "cooks" " house made" food before you send out and charge people money. Give peace a chance. Power to the People. Drop acid not bombs. Live and let live - But hippies / street kids shouldn't be cooks. Be warned and make good decisions

Yelp
Out showing my Best friend CO, and since Manitou is awesome we came for the day. We stopped here for a drink and something to eat. We saddled up to the bar. The bartender was fun and friendly, offering a great old fashioned, and they have lots of other good choices too. We really enjoyed their food also. Nice and energetic atmosphere.

Andrew W.

Yelp
This place is really really pleasant to be in! They have a great stage for their live music every weekend. The bar is well tended and reasonable in price. The bar+ Food is more than adequate with some items very good. More room than some other music places in town. Room to dance as well. Family friendly during the day and early evenings. Worth checking out for sure!
google avatar

Yelp
Came to check out Armadillo Ranch on a Saturday night. We had dinner and then moved on to have some drink while listening to live music. The Caprese was beautiful and delicious. The Veggie sandwich was a bit dry but the salad and fresh ingredients were very enjoyable. We really enjoyed the live music and has some cocktails while watching the show. A nice venue stream-side to spend an evening with friends. Will be back :)

Yelp
This place was awesome! We were just walking around downtown Manitou and wanted to grab a bite to eat and walked next to this place. We read the menu and decided to try it out. Great service, we got our food very quick, loved how it looked inside, clean bathrooms too.
google avatar

Dianna K.

Yelp
The food was less then average. My husband said his tacos were not spiced at all. My sisters said her salad wasn't good either. I mean come I. It's hard to mess up a salad. The service was just so so.

Leandra E.

Yelp
I had the pulled pork sandwich to me it was top notch! Their chicken tenders that my family member had she said they were wonderful. The hamburger my other family member had said it was very tasty. So all three of us said the food was delicious and it's a really cool little quaint restaurant/bar. I would say make it a stop when you're there in Manitu springs. The service was fast very friendly overall very enjoyable lunch

Monica M.

Yelp
Stopped in with my mom and daughter for dinner. This place is a bar that serves food, but the food was so good. I wish we could have stayed later as they were setting up for karaoke night. We shared a few apps which were delicious and filling and our bartender was attentive and extremely nice.
google avatar

Jen P.

Yelp
We were very disappointed in the takeout food, and more so, the lack of customer service. We are new residents here and have been trying out all the local restaurants. Unfortunately, based on receiving absolutely no reply for their mistakes, or even an apology, we won't come back or recommend.
google avatar

Kim N.

Yelp
The loaded fries were good. The drinks were a little sweet. We called ahead and asked when the music started. They said 8 pm, so we arrived then. We waited until 9:30 for the band to start. Bummer.
google avatar

Jenny P.

Yelp
Stopped by for a quick lunch on my way through Manitou Springs. Good atmosphere. Great food and service. The only place that didn't have a 45 min lunch wait either.

Brian G.

Yelp
Watch your bill. We were billed twice and when discovered on our credit card statement tried to contact them for resolve. Our calls were not returned. Through the help of our credit card we were reimbursed. I have a feeling this happens more often than most even notice. Service fair. 2 of 4 plates brought incorrectly. Yes believe that. Food fair.

Isa K.

Yelp
Lol. Food sucks but you don't come here for that. Consider going there already a bit tipsy, do some karaoke with a beer in hand, and pass out in the park

Yelp
My husband had surprised me with a quick getaway, and I want to say I loved seeing so many people with face masks on! I saw this place on Yelp since we were hungry but didn't know what was around so we gave it a try. I'm so happy we did because they were so nice as soon as we walked in. Of course with COVID, they had a limited menu and what I had wanted wasn't on there. I decided to go outside of my comfort zone and tried the roast beef sandwich. My son also went out of his comfort zone and tried their Eureka wings. My husband couldn't go wrong with their cheeseburger. My sandwich was cooked to perfection, crispy, flaky, and tender roast beef. It was my first time having a roast beef sandwich that wasn't from Arby's. It was amazing! Now moving on with my sons entree. His wings were cooked perfect and the flavors were interesting to try. He loved them and ate them right up. My husband said the burger was cooked well and it was like any other burger. The best thing we had tried was their macaroni and cheese! It had some kind of topping that made it that much more special. I highly recommend trying this place out and trying new things you may not normally try. They staff is friendly and the atmosphere was fun with an older gentleman singing some tunes on his guitar.

Yelp
Happened to get a parking spot in Manitou Springs after visiting Garden of the Gods and was pleasantly surprised! Our waitress (forgot her name) made our visit excellent! She concocted a grilled orangeaide from scratch (no alcohol by choice) FAB! We had the loaded Brussels, Ruben, vegan pulled pork, brisket and even the vegan pulled pork - all FAB!! I found the food here so much better than some trendy places in Breckenridge! So happy we got a chance to check it out. Later our waitress told us to check out the spring water samples in town. What an awesome time and experience and restaurant! A must try!
google avatar

Danielle R.

Yelp
Best spot in Manitou. Elevated bar food with many things homemade. Get the pulled pork grilled cheese and thank me later. Four days of music each week and plenty of history about the building.

Monica R.

Yelp
I love this place! The pulled pork nachos and the green tea shot are so yummy. Great atmosphere with live music every day they're open! Love it.
google avatar

Randy B.

Yelp
Can't even tell you came in wasn't acknowledged , sat down didn't get acknowledged As I left I said loudly about no service no one cared. As I was leaving I mentioned to a large party about no service and the followed me down. Lesson for you Armadillo Ranch don't piss off the locals. It isn't good for business. Won't be back thanks for the memory
google avatar

Yelp
This place gets a 5 for our sever. A 1 for food selections. We ordered the Queso Fries. Just okay. Soggy. $10. Good drinks. Parking can be challenging! But fun place!

Yelp
The wonderful ladies at the Miramont Castle Museum suggested this bar and my husband and I were very intrigued! We stopped by for lunch and the food was delicious, and their Irish coffee was on point.

Yelp
Walking through the beautiful town of Manitou Springs Armadillo RAnch is located on the Main Street of the Downtown area of Manitou Springs . Look for an orange building and there's an outline of an Armadillo in Blue light ... you enter and there a nice bar inside with open concept kitchen and a nice spacious restaurant ..with amazingly very friendly staff ... we were looking for a place to eat after driving all day and I'm so happy we found the Armadillo RAnch . Co - owner Glenn is so welcoming and helpful and he even suggests many things to do in Manitou Springs . The menu has a wide variety of delicious Southwestern menu I chose the Combo plate which had so flavorful pulled pork which was delicious, perfect spices with brisket and sausage and they even make their own barbecue sauce which is so tasty you want to dip it in everything . We ordered French fries with queso also very delicious .. the two young ladies chefs in the kitchen were working very quickly preparing delicious foods on there menu . I highly recommend stopping by the Armadillo RAnch for a Great menu if you'd like to try Southwestern Foods from Colorado . Very nice vibe and staff so friendly and ( myself coming from Hawaii ) .... I would say reminded me of home because of the warm welcoming feeling from staff . They also have music early evening ... we loved the restaurant so much we went to Armadillo RAnch before flying home and again had a delicious lunch .... we ordered buffalo shrimp with delicious BBQ sauce and Italian sandwich which fresh Salami meats and combination of cheeses ...... Angie was the star that day .... she was our sever and so friendly and even suggested some menu items ....Armadillo RAnch deserves " 10 stars " !! Wonderful staff and local feel and most of all the Menu is so amazing . It's a must stop when you visit Manitou Springs . Thank you and Aloha to the Wonderful people I met who work at Armadillo RAnch
