We were turned away as a family with two young children due to an issue with our booking. We had originally booked a room for €210, yet the hotel insisted we pay an additional €95 per child plus €190 for an upgrade.
Although they admitted a suite was available (which they had planned to give as a free upgrade to another guest), they refused to accommodate us unless we paid the exorbitant charges, and even denied us the option of dining at the hotel restaurant with our children.
Overall, the staff were rude, unprofessional, and seemed intent on taking advantage of a young family. In the end, we left rather than allow ourselves to be exploited.
