The set up of the hotel is nice. I want to request that they just inform you of their different size rooms as we had a much bigger room when we visited before, so the smaller room was a bit of a disappointment. The seafood was absolutely awesome and the different desserts even better. I will definitely visit again in future. The buffet breakfast with champagne was a great way to start your day.

Overall very good, the staff both in front office, spa and restaurants are amazing. Food was very good, just no oysters again yet on menu. Spa treatments amazing. Room neat and clean and always kept tidy and coffee etc filled. ||||Pool needs more cleaning in high season - was milky, and kids pee in the pool which is not good.||||Noise levels in the road and in front of hotel is a bit of an issue - on all nights, there were people walking with boom boxes with music blaring which surely should be monitored by hotel staff. One pays a premium for Front sea facing rooms and this should be addressed.||||Other than that well done to Heinrich and the team, We had a great time and will be back soon||

What a great stay. From the welcoming carafe of sherry in the huge and very well appointed room to the wonderful sea view, this was truly an old school hotel experience. Ice cold beer on tap complemented the marvelous sea food in the ocean-facing dining room. Lulled asleep in the most comfortable bed, with a fresh breeze bringing the sound of the waves in. Buffet breakfast was delectable, with a wide choice of cereals, fresh fruit, juices yogurt, pastries and salmon to complement the usual cooked eggs, bacon, sausages, mushrooms etc.

We went there for a honeymoon. The hotel is very nice and you barely have to bring anything except toiletries and clothing. The staff is friendly and the food was ok. You just have to bring your own items if you want dairy and gluten free food. The hotel is nice and clean and room service is great. Would recommend going there to relax and also go visit the spa.

Best view, and friendliest staff of any hotel. Have always enjoyed this hotel. Furniture and fittings a bit dated, and should probably be upgraded / fixed in near future, but still a favourite.

The buffet breakfast was included in the cottage accommodation. They catered Halaal sausages with eggs prepared separately. Staff were friendly and always ready to assist. They best part of the buffet was the fresh variety of pastries straight out of the oven. This is a Hotspot for the German tourists, mostly elderly people. Luckily they regularly refill the self service items. Highly recommend.

Stopped for lunch at the Arniston Hotel restaurant on our way back to Hermanus, and it was fantastic! The food and service were great, but the ocean views were truly unbeatable. We had the pleasure of meeting Rodger, the manager, who shared some interesting history about Arniston and show us around the Hotel. I’ve been invited back with my daughter and Will update this review during my stay. Until then I would highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Very Very Noisy!! We arrived for a one night stay mid December between Christmas and New Year and the hotel was naturally full and ridiculously noisy. We were shown to our pool room which as only meters away from the pool. The room had no air con and two windows and was very hot inside. The pub area was next to the pool and exceptionally noisy. So noisy even at 3pm in the afternoon that we would have needed to close our windows to try and block out some of the noise. But this was not an option as the room was so hot! I spoke to the management who made a plan and showed me another room on the top floor that was a little quieter but even hotter and where the noise of the pub was still loud so this was also not suitable. They then showed us another place off site that was quieter but dark and dank inside. So for anyone who is slightly noise sensitive do not book here in season as it will be too noisy for you!
