We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with cappuccino and hot chocolate. Fast and friendly service, chilled vibe and good food - what more could you want? Next time, I'm having a mimosa or two!

A Real Cape Town Classic Arnold’s on Kloof has always felt like a true neighborhood spot, familiar, unpretentious, and consistent in its own way. It’s not a chef-driven destination or somewhere you go for a visual wow, but there’s something genuine about it that keeps me coming back. The design is a bit all over the place, not quite modern, not really cozy but it somehow works. I enjoy the food overall, especially the burgers and the seasonal dishes that change regularly; they may not be exceptional, but they’re satisfying and thoughtfully done. The wine list could use a little upgrade, but it does the job. Most of the staff are always friendly and attentive, and one unpleasant interaction didn’t spoil the experience. I’m still giving 5 stars because I believe places like this deserve the benefit of the doubt. Arnold’s is not about perfection, it’s about realness and for that, it earns my respect. Thanks, Arnold’s, real places still matter.

Popped here for a quick bite and could happily have stayed longer. Excellent fresh ingredients, very tasty coffee, friendly service and tasty food. And all at a great price. Would happily call in again, and I thoroughly recommend this place.

I came to Arnold’s for their Early Bird breakfast and was really impressed. The breakfast and coffee was good and I would highly recommend it. While I’ve dined at the restaurant before, I find the peaceful atmosphere during the early morning slot far more enjoyable. During peak breakfast and lunch hours, the restaurant can become quite busy, and as a result with slower service, and occasional order issues. That said, the quality of the food remains consistently good, and the breakfast special offers great value. If you're an early riser, it's definitely worth a visit.

My husband and I are very fond of visiting great rated star restaurants. We are exposed to high quality, well prepared food and excellent service. We were very excited to eat at Arnold's. The chicken wings were very disappointing. It was cold on the bone, old, over cooked and tough. I presume it was pre-cooked and then frozen. The chicken livers were the best that I have tasted in a long time. We were looking forward to the warthog ribs as my husband is a keen hunter and has shot quite a lot of warthog which we made sausages and salami with. How disappointing!! Although it was well-prepared, it was not warthog, but ordinary pork ribs. The bones were not those of a warthog and the taste very far away from warthog. We called the manager and his reply was that that is what it says on the slip. 🫣🙃 Kevin was our waiter but we hardly saw him. I had to call another waiter several times and had to stand up and fetch a menu myself to order dessert. The baked cheesecake with the chocolate sauce was excellent. It was very noisy, so much so that the waiter had to quiet down the two tables next us a few times. We shall not visit Arnolds again. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANSWER. We are absolutely sure that it was not warthog ribs that you served. Can I bring you the raw warthog ribs to prepare for us?

My fourth time visiting this place now. Great service from the staff, the team is just excellent they make you feel like family. Their food is amazing, from breakfast to dinner it’s a 10/10. Their menu offers a variety of food options including exotic meats.

A menu fit for a breakfast, lunch and dinner. It caters for if you want a quick lunch hour bite, or want to stay a little longer, or hang out leisurely on the stoep with bottle after bottle SA wine. Plates will good-sized portions; are well priced, too. Great staff. There's a reason it's been around so long!

One of the best meals I've ever had...warthog ribs... and so delicious. Great service too. Coming back from the US soon.
