Aro'a Beachside Resort

Loretta was incredibly helpful in accommodating us after a mix up with our booked accommodation elsewhere. She was so welcoming and friendly. Just awesome. The Resort is fantastic with everything you would need. The staff were always smiling and friendly too. Best Ika Mata and Island Fries on the Island! Already booked for next year.

100/10 experience!! I came here with my family and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere and vibe was so relaxed as it was an adults only resort. The restaurant/bar (Shipwreck) was amazing as well; the food and live music was awesome. You can see a live cultural show every Monday. Loretta the manager there was so accommodating and very lovely! She made us feel right at home and catered to us everyday. Also, the dogs that live here are so lovely and friendly🐶 the sunsets are so beautiful and happens right at the beachfront! Highly recommend staying here!!

I can’t say enough about the Aro’a Beachside Resort Fantastic location we had the beautiful beachside room which had everything we needed and only a few meters from the beach.|The beds were very comfortable and I slept well with the sound of the sea on the beach If more than 1 of you having a shower definitely push the booster button so the shower is warm |Loretta our host was welcoming and so helpful and made our stay there very enjoyable from suggesting things to do to checking in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. |Breakfast was great and we ate several evening meals at the Shipwreck Hut and they were all delicious and affordable. |I tried snorkelling for the first time in the reef which was awesome, with the gear provided at the resort |All in all the resort has a relaxed vibe and the resort dogs made it feel more like home I would highly recommend Aro’a for your Rarotonga holiday

Gotta be the best value for money in Raro! Sitting in the incredibly authentic ‘Shipwreck Bar’you start thinking Tom Hanks is gonna wash up on the shore with Wilson in tow! My room was literally steps away from the shore and the sunsets are to die for! Food and beverages are surprisingly good value and your host Al is a real knockabout guy! We won’t stay anywhere else third year in a row this was!

Had an amazing time staying at Aroa Beachside Resort. Loretta and her team were so welcoming, and everything was well organized . They went out of their way to help us even when mucked up our booking due to the timezone difference to NZ. It was so convenient to cafes, restaurants, and takeaways. We also ate at the Shipwreck bar multiple times, and the food was great. It's a basic menu but super tasty! The bar shuts at 9 pm, so it was quiet after that. The pool is nice and new. The rooms were tired but the linen and bathrooms were clean. Room 10 was a great room with a beautiful view.

Fun place to stay. The office people were friendly and helpful.Good breakfast included with fresh fruit and variety of cereals and spreads and juices. Lovely location. Watersport equipment available for no charge. Lovely beach right in front of shipwreck bar and also a nice warm swimming pool. Would come here again so that is a good recommendation.

Really funky, relaxed place, rooms fairly basic but everything works as expected and beach front rooms have an amazing view. Nice new pool area and a great restaurant bar area (Panhead and Montieth's beers yea!) with a good vibe with people coming and going for lunch and dinner. Staff and management were very accommodating and friendly. Weather wasn't that great this time around so will have to come back again and stay for sure.

Just the place to stay if you're looking for a nice private piece of paradise.|With a bar that offers entertainment. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was great. Great staff they were very attentive. Will definitely be back.
