The lamb Otto is the traditional antikristo (cooked over flame) and absolutely delicious. Cretan salad was huge, delicious, and the fresh ewes milk cheese with honey so soft and full of flavour. One of our favourite meals in our month in Crete. Worth the drive.

A cannot miss spot if you are in the area! The food was amazing; every dish we tried was memorable and delicious (fresh feta, fried pork, and the cannot miss confit lamb). Aleksandros was incredibly kind and welcoming. I'm thankful for the technology of today, as I was able to show him in Greek how wonderful this meal was.

Quite simply the best Cretan food we have had on the island. From beginning to end you will be impressed with their food, atmosphere and service. Do not miss out on this opportunity!

Amazing authentic Cretan cousine. We've been coming to Crete for over 10 years and happy to find another gem to revisit in the future! Local cheese is a must-try and of course the lamb. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you very much!

Very good food and prices. Service is friendly. Owner tries to be friendly but can make insulting comments like he did to our 12 year old son by telling him loudly after he asked his name… what kind of name is this. Change it. Was not funny at all and as a parent I felt uncomfortable and so my son. Apart from that experience was good.

It felt like a typical touristy spot where they cart bus loads of tourists through. I’m sure in Summer the place is packed with visitors. The food was ok but nothing special. From all the meals we’ve had on Crete this was the most disappointing. The lamb was very poor quality even though we were told that it’s from the area. The best dish was the fried saganaki cheese (homemade). The service was fine, quick and attentive but in terms of overall ambience with the quality of food, don’t expect too much.

Delicious local cuisine run be a very friendly family with love and care. One can notice the food was made from fresh products and the home made cheese were not less then WOW. We highly recommend on this authentic warm and tasty family restaurant ❤️🙏
