"It doesn’t get more traditionally Spanish than tapas and vermouth, and Arola offers a great introduction to both. Reserve a table on the breezy terrace—with views of the ocean and Frank Gehry’s iconic fish sculpture—and prepare to while away a Sunday afternoon enjoying chef Sergi Arola’s signature SVT menu:Sunday Vermouth & Tapas. Things kick off, naturally, with a vermouth cocktail; here it’s served in an adorable miniature soda bottle with a tiny straw. A whirlwind of classic Spanish dishes follow: patatas bravas , marinated sardines, fideuà (a traditional dish of seafood atop noodles), paella (teeming with shellfish), and a whole sea bass cooked in salt. The 10-course menu, plus desserts and cheeses, is a steal at 60 euros (about $67), and you’re guaranteed not to be hungry for dinner."
I wouldn't come here again. The eggplant (not pictured) was too sweet, and the tuna tartar (pictured below) had too much soy sauce. I tried to eat downstairs at their sister restaurant enoteca but they are fully booked for a whole week and I don't have enough time.

We did family-style tapas to try as much of the menu as possible and each bite was special and impressive. The beet tartare was among the best I've had, and the ganache dessert can't be missed. Friendly, attentive service with helpful recommendations make for a very enjoyable atmosphere. Looking forward to coming again!

Food was good - the oysters were particularly nice. Not much choice for vegetarians though with only 2 options however, they did offer to cook something off the menu without the meat. On the whole the service was really good, but the food didn’t blow us away and we didn’t think it was worth the price. The most annoying thing was the drink prices - €14 glass of red wine, cocktails €16 and beers €11. If the drinks were better value for money, we would have stayed there longer, but we couldn’t justify it at those prices. We can understand and deal with the food being over priced but not the drinks....Estrella is Estrella at the end of the day.

We've been to this restaurant enjoying the Restaurant Week menu. When we made the reservation we've asked for a table with light in order to make the pictures. When we arrived the table did not comply with what we've asked but after some minutes they brought a light specifically for us. A nice detail letting us know they understood our 'needs'. All the items we've ordered were corretly prepared and the flavours were really good. The service was fast and the staff was really nice.
We've noticed there are lots of 'complaints' about finding the entrance... it's easy..., just next to the hotel door on the lower floor 'tunnel', next to where the bell boys keep their trolleys.
ENJOY!

Well where can i start..... overall i must say we were very dissapointed. My girlfriend booked this for our last meal and we both feel very let down. The food was very over priced (€24 for a plate parma ham). The quality was no better than any other local restaurant. The presentation was good however. The only reason i have gave 2 stars is because we both felt the staff and service was really good. However, when asking for the bill we were told we would be getting 2 free glasses of champagne, after waiting 30minutes we decided to leave as none came! We ate at several local restaurants throughout the holiday and i must say we paid a third of the price, got more food and the quality was much better. I would seriously consider looking elsewhere.

The views and the decor were impressive, as you would expect from a rooftop restaurant. We had the five course tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was good and tasty, however they could work a bit on the frequency which they bring out the dishes as the time between the dishes didn't allow for much breathing time. Really enjoyed the little garden with parsley and basil they had throughout the terrace.

Dont listen to all of these horrible ignorant reviews. We ate all over Spain and this was one of the best experiences we ever had! Food and cocktails are world class. Service was incredible. If you are trying to save money go to McDonald's. If you want a world class experience dine at Arola!
