Aroma of India is a standout. Prabhu, the owner, is warm, generous, and deeply knowledgeable, walking us through dishes rooted in northern India near the Nepalese border. That regional touch shows up on the plate—everything tastes intentional, layered, and alive. The food was fresh, bold, and genuinely memorable. Even the chai is made from scratch, and it’s easily the best in town. If you’re heading to a show at Archer Music Hall or Arrow, eat here first. You’ll start the night on a high note and wonder why you ever went anywhere else.

First time trying out their food and everything was amazing!! We started off with the chicken momos and then had the chicken masala with garlic and cheese naan . 10/10!! My new favorite place in center city. Also had the mango lassi and it was amazingly fresh! Highly recommend.

I can confidently assert that Aroma of India deserves a perfect 10/10 rating. The customer service was outstanding, characterized by friendly and helpful staff. The food was exceptionally delicious and flavorful, with both the curry chicken and chicken vindaloo being outstanding. Additionally, the Gulab Jamun dessert was 10 out of 10.

So the owners here are amazing. Really friendly folks. Recommended the momos, unique dumplings of Nepal that you eat with a rich sauce packed with flavor. Sooo good. There are two sauces available for the momos, one without spice and one with spice and wow if you can stomach spice you gotta try their sauce! Made with hot sauce they make in house! All the curries were good. They have a nice variation of spice levels. Ordered a Rogan lamb Josh Curry with no spice. Lamb Madras medium spicy which was really good with a spice that gently builds. Lamb Gosht Bhuna at the highest spice level, which was satisfactory, starting subtly and building with great flavor. Big thanks to this place. Will be returning. Love you guys.

I found this place walking back to my car after a show and the smell pulled me in from the street. The chicken curry, mango lassi & gulab jamun were phenomenal. It smelled so good in there I ordered more food to eat for lunch tomorrow! Definitely coming back next time I'm in the area

The owner of the store was so sweet! He made it a point to acknowledge that I came in and that he’d be with me shortly. He asked if this was my first time visiting, as they had just opened about 8 months ago, and let me smell their garaam massala that they make in store! Their garaam massala smelled so fresh and fragrant, meanwhile the most popular store brand smelled flat. A true testament of their devotion to food they make. The kitchen is small, and everything is made to order. There’s lots of space to sit and eat. There was an Indian couple eating at the restaurant, so you know the food is going to be good. The lamb was so tender and flavorful, I could literally taste the cardamom and garlic in the sauce. The nasn was crunchy on the ends, soft and pillowy in the middle, and very obviously homemade. The portions are a great size. Lots of rice, meat, and veggies. I didn’t finish all of my food, but I DEFINITELY will eat this tomorrow. 10/10 store!

The food here is 10/10 and the owners are very kind and considerate! They made our first experience at their restaurant unforgettable by explaining the cultural background of the dishes and sharing how some of the sauces were made. We felt very welcome and cannot wait to go back!

My partner and I went there tonight for a nice bite before a concert. The food and service were excellent. Good food, good vibes. Will be returning for sure.

Singh and his wife are so welcoming. Finally, an Indian spot in Downtown Allentown. Tasty food, good service and welcoming atmosphere. I will be back. The lassi is also really good!

Good Indian food with a huge menu. Good service, too. I had paneer masala, garlic naan, and coconut ice cream. Tasty!

Six of us had a delicious meal there today. The service was attentive and friendly, and the ambiance was pleasant. We enjoyed hearing about the ingredients and the care that went into the food preparation. Every dish was tasty, and we would definitely return.

Food was delicious - they do the spice on mild side so accommodated our family well. High quality food and friendly, attentive folks there. I hope they thrive here. Clean inside and comfy with small table for three outside. We'll be back when we come through this way, thanks!

Hole-in-the-wall style restaurant, literally a mom and pop place. The couple who owns it is very friendly. Had chicken tikka masala, it was REALLY good. The lentils were warm and thick. The garlic naan was tasty, it could've been bigger. Overall portion sizes were on the small side, but me, my wife, and my toddler were satisfied. The bill was about $40 with tip. We will be back.
