We came on a Sunday breakfast rush during winter break for W&M and boy this place is still hopping. The service was extremely efficient, the staff greeted us warmly as we entered (and they were bussing tables), the place went from empty to packed in a 15 minutes. I had the stuffed brie french toast. Family had the strawberry crepes and chocolate, breakfast wrap. - Food was delicious. - Service was awesome. - When it gets packed... it's a tight fit for large (4+) groups but perfect for groups of 2.

Google
Had vanilla cupcake, lemon cake and a chocolate dessert I can’t remember. The chocolate stick was the most delicious thing of the three. I would recommend working on the decor and food presentation of the place. It can be a cozy little place but instead it’s giving come in but don’t stay for long vibes. A cafe in a colonial city should be more warm just saying

Google
The perfect place for a sidewalk Café breakfast or lunch experience! The staff was friendly and helpful, the coffee and teas were delicious, and there were many options for handheld and other types of food. Definitely put Aromas on your culinary agenda. The next time you were in colonial Williamsburg.

Our morning in Williamsburg started with bougie coffee and breakfast at Aromas—crowded but delicious food. Our food came out before our coffee, so we ended up taking our coffee to go. Josh had the breakfast burrito, and I had the special chocolate chip waffles with bananas. I had the maple brown sugar latte for drinks, and Josh had a Snickers latte. The announcing system is slightly tricky. You have two areas, food pick up and drink pick up, and one order number. Picking up your order is confusing, and you can easily miss your number being called. They are not called out on the loudspeaker and blend with the noise in the shop: 4🌟out of 5

Google
The coffee for both of us was great and they had a lot of options/variations. I had my St. Charles Mint Mocha made frozen and best mocha I've had. The food was also delicious. Line was long due to popularity although moved along very quickly.

Google
Great coffee shop with a fun atmosphere and friendly service. Food a little slow, but they seemed pretty busy, certainly a popular place, especially around lunch time. Drink service is quick - European sipping chocolate and Aromaccino both rich, excellent, and topped with fantastic whipped cream! Tons of unique and creative coffee and other drink options and specials. Brie-stuffed French toast outstanding, a great combination of sweet and savory between the Brie and some maple syrup over perfectly-prepared French toast slices. Always great-looking desserts on display - vanilla cake was fantastic, especially if sweet and plentiful icing is your thing!

Google
Delicious food. We had the Club and Chorizo sausage and egg burrito, chips with salsa and avocado mash. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and great downtown location. The only complaint we did have was they only have one bathroom, which is not smart with coffee and food. The line for the bathroom was just as long as the line for coffee and food. But with the design of the building I do not know how they would add an extra one. They have lots of gift items too!

Google
They have a pretty big section of baked goods. They all looked so good. I got a chocolate chip scone and a seasonal flavored iced latte. I don’t remember what the flavor was now but everything was delicious. The cashier was very helpful and patient with me as I decided on what I was going to get.

Yelp
Stopped by on a rainy afternoon to try their special hot chocolate for the Downtown Williamsburg Cocoa crawl and it was DELICIOUS! It was a white raspberry hot chocolate and I'm not sure if it's in their menu normally but should be. Husband enjoyed his coffee and the curry chicken salad had a great flavor. I just personally would have loved some slivered almonds added to the top for crunch. Service was kind and helpful as it was my first time there. Let me know where to pick up my drink and my food. Cool artwork up on the walls, and quite a few tables inside.

Carmen S.

Yelp
Long as you don't mind standing in crazy long lines, this is a fantastic coffee stop. It's so good that the lines are long. A worth it trade off. I love the snickerdoodle latte. It's my favorite cookie so it stands to reason that it would be my favorite latte. This one does not disappoint. Perhaps sweeter than most would like because you can barely taste the coffee. I'm not a fan of bitter drinks so it's perfect for me. Tried the vegan gluten free truffles. They were hit or miss. Two were good and two were overly sweet. Spouse had the "true" macchiato. It comes in a small cup and is only half full. I found that odd but spouse states it's correct? Reason is that they do not have a short cup. Either way, he said it's good espresso and likes it. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by. Just be ready for that long line.

Yelp
Aroma is a warm and friendly café, with nice dark wood where historic drawings are displayed. You order at the counter and they call you when your food is ready. We found a turnaround time to be pretty quick considering how busy it was. Even though it was clearly busy it didn't feel busy or noisy. The portions for breakfast were very generous. I had the English muffin with ham, Swiss and eggs, and it was very tasty. My wife had the traditional breakfast platter with scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes and fresh bread. The potatoes had a great flavor and not overcooked. We peered at dishes other customers were having, and the portions were just as generous and again everything looked fresh. My only gripe is that the food was a bit cold from the counter - I didn't notice if there heat lamps. It's all impressive because there can be long lines and yet they still manage to get the orders right. And surprisingly fast. We wished we lived in the area. But we are only an hour away and will definitely return.

Lauren T.

Yelp
We had breakfast at Aromas while enjoying Second Sundays in Colonial Williamsburg. The lines were long and we had our dog with us. I sat outside with our dog while my partner ordered our food. The staff provided a water dish for the dog. The food was very good and our beverages were hot.

Amy M.

Yelp
This spot is located in the vicinity of the William and Mary research university. We had a staycation to celebrate an anniversary which put us within the college town. The area is historic, beautiful, and has great paths for walking. There was a dog bowl filled with water outside the door, which indicates it has an area that is pet friendly. Upon entry, it was bustling with hungry patrons for caffeine and food. I was ecstatic when I saw that nitro cold brew was offered. There was an abundance of muffins, danishes, chocolate balls in various flavors, bagels, and other breakfast offerings. The hubs ordered the burrito which was filled with southwestern chicken and fluffy eggs. The exterior wrap was overcooked so it was crispy and dry. However, the chicken was tender and flavorful. The hit of the hot sauce makes this breakfast burrito ideal for on the go and hangover ha ha. The nitro cold brew was velvety and smooth. The strawberry refresher was sweet and cold. Overall, a great place to study, bring friends for a grab and go. If you're lucky to secure a seat, grab it quickly, and enjoy!!!

Yelp
Ambiance is definitely noteworthy. All early local birds coming to congregate here, giving such a homey vibe. Even the decor and lighting lend themselves to very eclectic and warm atmosphere. At the counter there's an inviting display of baked goods, yes they're not baked in house but the selections are great - from lemon berries mascarpone cake to vegan cupcakes and chocolate mousse cake. Service was prompt, the HONEY DO LATTE was delicious with the right amount of espresso and honey, just the right wake me up at 7:30am before the drive back from Williamsburg!

Yelp
I'd heard such good things about this coffeehouse and with the "breakfast" in my hotel severely lacking, I looked forward to heading to the shop to start my day. It's a cute typical shop with a good amount of seating both inside and outside. There are printed menus to pass down the line, specials written in chalk, and enticing pastries on display. Several of the offerings drew my attention (especially the longer I stood in line), but I was ready with my order when I reached the cashier: a brown sugar latte on ice, the gluten-free coffee cake on display, and the special grits topped with green onion, cheese, crumbled bacon, and a fried egg. The cashier was distracted and seemed to have a hard time hearing me--made evident when I did not actually receive the grits special, but it instead just plain grits with cheese. Tasty, but still disappointingly, not what I had really wanted. The coffee and cake were both delightful and sitting in the sun enjoying my food and book made it worth it.

Yelp
Aromas Coffeehouse is a delightful little spot that offers a warm, inviting atmosphere, featuring excellent coffee and food. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped in the intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed espresso. The decor has a quirky, eclectic vibe with mismatched furniture, brick walls, and local artwork adorning the space. It feels very homey and comfortable - the kind of place you could linger for hours over a good book or to get some work done. The mix of cozy couches and tables makes it easy to find the perfect nook. Of course, the coffee is the star of the show. They use premium beans sourced from around the world and roasted locally. Whether you go for a simple drip coffee, a velvety latte, or one of their creative house specials like the hazelnut white mocha, you can expect a delicious, high-quality brew. The staff are knowledgeable about their offerings and happy to make recommendations. The food menu features freshly baked pastries, sandwiches, salads and snacks that pair perfectly with the coffee. Some standout items are the flaky quiche, the hearty breakfast burritos, and the indulgent chocolate raspberry bread pudding. In addition to hot drinks, Aromas has a great selection of cold-pressed juices, smoothies, iced coffees and teas for the warmer months. While the vibe is relaxed, service can be a bit slow, during high summer season, due to the small size of the shop. However, that's a minor issue considering the charm and quality Aromas delivers. Whether you're a Williamsburg local or just visiting this historic, colonial town, this charming, cozy spot is well worth stopping into for a truly enjoyable coffee experience. Just ensure you leave plenty of time to savor the experience.

Michaela V.

Yelp
Busy! But service was quick and the coffee and food were great. Friendly staff. Cute decor with local art available for sale on the wall. A variety of breakfast, lunch and snack items for every appetite in our party (ages 3, 8, 13 and adults)

Andy K.

Yelp
So you are exploring colonial Williamsburg. You're desperate for a coffee to help you keep up with your pack of kids, this is the spot. The shop has a quaint atmosphere that fits the atmosphere of colonial Williamsburg. They have house made treats and sandwiches to go along with your specialty coffee. This is the go to place for the William and Mary students as well as the tourists, so it gets busy. Fortunately the staff is tuned in and offer quick service to meet the crowds.

Gregg H.

Yelp
Cute place in the historic area. Very busy when we were there and quite noisy. Their tea was pretty good and they have a few baked items as well.

Lysonia P.

Yelp
Casual And Very friendly restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner. Order your food and they announce your number to pick it up. They have lots of specialty coffee and teas. I got the seasonal hot apple cider which was delicious. My omelette tasted great once i added the salt and pepper. Good hearty breakfast with a great portion. Grapes and toast on the side. Service was extremely fast.

Anna P.

Yelp
I love everything about small businesses and trying to support them always. I would give to Aromas 3.5 stars if possible, but can't say I had flawless experience. Place is really old, but managed with care and love,I felt atmosphere and passion for the job they do. What was wrong? 1.They are famous for apple pie,but I was told that it's unknown when they will decide to prepare it next time. 2.Selection of pastries were very limited, scone was dry and not tasty. Star dish was blueberry cake, made as a sort of cupcake with delicious cream and tons of blueberries. Cake was moist and silky, cream had a little of sourness, beautifully contrasting with sweet cake. Another good option was gluten free chocolate torta, it was rich and dense, paradise for dark chocolate lovers. All in all, i don't mind to give this place another try,but only if around, not worth an extra effort.

Katie H.

Yelp
Cute spot just outside of Williamsburg historic town. We stopped in around lunchtime and ate inside (sadly they had already stopped serving the majority of their breakfast items, but did still offer a few choices). We got coffees, which were just okay, but nothing wrong with them. As we are breakfast food lovers, my husband ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich with sausage and I ordered the quiche of the day, which I was told was garden vegetable. My husband said his sandwich was delicious, and loved the way the egg on it was prepared. The quiche when it was delivered to our table, however, very clearly contained meat. I went up to the server who delivered it to me (different from the cashier who told me the quiche flavor) and said it was supposed to be veggie, to which she replied oh no she was mistaken - it's actually meat lovers. As a vegetarian, that is a pretty heinous mix up. However, the server could not have been more kind and accommodating to make it right for me. I wish I had gotten her name...she was a true gem! After the quiche fail, I ended up going with a lunch choice - the Mediterranean melt. As my husband had finished his sandwich before my new order was ready, the aforementioned employee kindly packaged up my sandwich to go. And let me tell you, that sandwich was excellent! It made me glad in the end that I couldn't have the quiche.

Lynne G.

Yelp
Food and drinks are good. Food prices are reasonable, but drink prices, specifically for alternative milk and syrups is pretty expensive. Staff can range from super friendly to borderline rude. There's one staffer who, when they place is busy, is clearly annoyed and can be a little condescending towards guests. When the college students aren't in town, this place is a great option for meeting friends, remote working, reading, people watching, etc. however, when the students are in town or there's a event going on and CW, this place gets way too busy to be enjoyable. Parking, like anywhere in downtown, can be tricky. Usually limited to one hour or pay to park. Aromas is a good stop and I still recommend, but it's not always my top recommendation.

Noor B.

Yelp
Such a cute coffee shop in the downtown area. We didn't get to explore the area at all, we only came to grab some coffee before heading back to our hotel. My husband tried their mocha latte and I went with the java hot chocolate. Both drinks were very good! Some of the best "coffee" we had on our short trip. I also tried the quiche - it was just OK. There was a lot of rosemary on top which was over powering.

Jodi B.

Yelp
Great little spot. While I was hoping the soup of the day might be tomato, it was mushroom Brie and quite good. I also ordered the turkey on focaccia which is huge and shareable. My husband ordered the new turkey avocado melt and enjoyed it. While we aren't coffee drinkers I saw they have probiotic sodas.

A S.

Yelp
I like their coffee and I was impressed with the food. Good downtown location that's walkable to Merchant Square and other shopping. But with the central location comes a small space. At peak times, it's VERY tight inside and you need to squeeze by people. There's not a lot of space to sit or wait for your order. But if you go when it's less busy, it's a nice place to stop by.

Diane R.

Yelp
The most annoying spot in a 16 day trip. Two very winey little ones willing to scream at any time. Ordered food but 15 minutes later they told us they weren't cooking that anymore. Another 15 minute wait for our next try!

Dolphin F.

Yelp
Place was just ok to me, I had the barbecue chicken and honestly it was not good. I think they may have just microwaved some premade frozen barbecue and plopped it on a hamburger bun. It came with just a condiment size container of coleslaw that actually tasted better than the chicken. The other dish was very good it was the Thai Wrap, my spouse enjoyed this. It's a small place that I would imagine is very popular with the college community. Service was kind of spotty, we paid for our food but were not told where to get our drinks or where to pick up the food from. We figured it out, I guess they thought everyone should know the system. Price wise I'm not sure if it's good or bad. Chicken sandwich, wrap, iced tea, and water came to over $32.00.

Ashlee A.

Yelp
Cute spot that I thought I'd enjoy a little more than I did. Small with tables inside and outside. We grabbed a menu to look before ordering. Vegan options but no non red meat options when it comes to their breakfast foods so I asked about the other options they had and mentioned not eating those meats. I ended up going with the croissant sandwich with cheese, eggs, and deli turkey meat instead and she said they could do that! Got the receipt just for it to say "ham and turkey" so I asked if this meant no ham and the cashier said yeah! Unfortunately my sandwich still showed up with ham, so that was a bummer and in getting my sandwich fixed, it left me with not a lot of melted cheese. I also ordered a green tea chai latte with oat milk that was just very watered down and no flavor. We enjoyed sitting outside and their sweet treats in the cases do look good! 3.5 stars rounded down for now.

Bob L.

Yelp
I've been a regular customer for many years. This week I placed an order to go. After looking at the menu online I decided on the Portabello mushroom sandwich, listed on Aromas' website at $7.99. When I paid the bill I was charged $11.99. I know prices are increasing but when you raise your price, make sure the new price (50 percent increase) is updated on the website.

Nicholas M.

Yelp
Aroma's is one of those places you go when you're in Williamsburg. It's got a bit of a hipster air to it and it's right next to a William & Mary store. It's is not a very big place, but it does have a decent amount of outdoor seating. Unfortunately, when busy, you should avoid this place. They run out of dishes quickly and the line takes forever. The food is basic coffee shop food. Breakfast is better than other times.

Sarah Q.

Yelp
Personal favorite coffee is the honey do latte! They always seem to be busy, occasionally have had to wait in line, but they do their best to keep people moving! They have tons of fun artwork on the walls - Can sometimes get a little loud inside but they have plenty of outdoor seating.

Paul L.

Yelp
I've gone here twice and have had the same sort of experience. First off, the place is very chaotic. People waiting everywhere. Order in a long line in the middle, wait on the right for the coffee, then wait on the left for your food. I think it took about 20 minutes to order and another 45 to get our things. I'm not exaggerating- I've never seen a barista take so long to make a drink. I generally order a plain coffee or an americano. Last time I got the coffee, which was very weak. This time I got the Americano and had to pay for an extra shot since it only came with two. (FYI, to coffee lovers out there - that's a red flag. If a coffee shop puts only 2 shots in a 16 oz Americano, their coffee is usually bad). The rule held up here - their 3 shot Americano was pretty tasteless. In all fairness, the rest of my family enjoyed their drinks, the fancy ones that don't taste like coffee anyway. And the food wasn't bad - nothing to write home about but not bad. We got the chicken burrito, lox bagel, grits, breakfast sandwich and strawberry crepes. All were serviceable.

Carol E.

Yelp
This place is definitely a gem in downtown Colonial Williamsburg. If you go during the regular hours you would expect breakfast, then expect to wait about 30+ mins or so. Even after the peak hours the place was still buzzing with patrons that wrapped around towards the back of the coffeehouse. The line does move pretty quickly as you are just putting your order in. While your waiting in line to put your order in, you can figure out if you'd like to sit indoors or out (guess it's only 1 decision to make when it's bad weather). The inside is quite cozy, they play good music, and is well-decorated. Once I got to counter, I put an order in for an egg, sausage, & cheese sandwich (sammich) on a croissant, Strawberry Peeps iced coffee, & cherry chocolate chip cheesecake. The sammich was big, 2 sausage patties, bigger than a typical breakfast sammich you would get @ once of those other breakfast sammy places. It was delicious. The Strawberry Peeps (drink of the week) coffee did not live up to its name but was still yummy. It had a rich mocha taste (I had it cold) and they put whipped cream at the top but the strawberriness went away after the 1st gulp. The cherry chocolate chip had a rich cherry flavor to it and it was bright red too! I'm sure it was artificially flavored but it satisfied the sweet tooth. Staff was friendly and busting thier butts to get the orders out as quickly as possible. I'm sure it can get busy for as long as they are open during the day since it's close to William & Mary and since they also serve hearty lunch dishes. You can even get a quick drink (alcohol) in from thier small selection of wines & other drinks . Excellent place to stop in and take a break!

Anne M.

Yelp
This has been a wonderful find in Williamsburg. It's especially nice if you can go when it's not crowded. It's cheerful with lots of signs and art. Pump decanters offer over 6 coffee choices. Lots of alternative milks available. Great menu featuring wonderful egg dishes and delicious toast. Went back for dinner and it was the best salmon salad I've ever had. Salmon cooked perfectly with candied pecans and a great dressing. Glass of wine for $ 5.50 is hard to beat.

Dee P.

Yelp
Delicious coffee. Yummy breakfast sandwiches. Very busy! And yet it went faster than we expected. Noisy atmosphere, so be prepared.

Alexis R.

Yelp
Always busy to the point of you should expect a line, but very quaint and well-ran with staff that's both efficient and kind. We both got drink specials (smoothie and cold foam of the week) and omelettes.

Sydney H.

Yelp
Sandwich was really good, bread tasted very homemade in the best way but was more like a multigrain than focaccia. Staff was so nice and the outdoor patio was a great place to eat and enjoy the charm of Williamsburg!

T B.

Yelp
Don't ask for a small cup of water to dilute your ice tea with. They make you buy a bottle of water. Good BBLT sandwich and chips.

Erin N.

Yelp
Delish food. Very fresh. Service was excellent, friendly and quick. The price was a bit higher than I would have preferred, but the food was perfect so I didn't mind paying it.

Morgan H.

Yelp
Always a staple in Colonial Williamsburg. Inside is busy and crowded but the ordering line moves quickly. Super cozy with a mix of indoor/outdoor seating, Aromas is a good place meet or work, if you like ambient noise. This is a full service cafe with a wide selection of breakfast plates, sandwiches, salads, dinner entrees, desserts and of course tons of unique and regular coffee drinks. It's a good place for vegetarians as well. This time I had the veggie scramble w/ toast/ and a large cappuccino for breakfast and the shrimp salad for a lunch. Scramble was excellent, hot and had a ton of veggies. It also came with grapes and toast. Cappuccino had a ton of steamed milk and tasty coffee. Best cappuccino I had while in Williamsburg. The shrimp salad was super fresh and had jumbo, seasoned shrimp with ginger dressing on the side. The portobello caps are also one of my favorites. It is popular with both students and tourists so it does tend to be busy. Totally worth stopping here if in Merchant's Square!

Jerry E.

Yelp
Small and Cozy coffeehouse. This place is definitely worth visiting! But if you have a large group (5+) then it might not be the best because like I said...it's Small & Cozy. The food is Really Good to Great! The French-pressed coffee is STRONG but worth it! Located in the heart of historic Williamsburg, walking distance to all of the cute little shops and neighboring restaurants. If it's the weekend...this place can get pretty packed so get there early.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
The coffee shop itself has a super cool feel. We only had coffee, no food, but the food looked pretty good. This place was packed. The staff was nice but the coffee was meh. I ordered an iced vanilla latte and my husband got the aromaccino. We waited about 30 minutes for our to go coffee, no big deal. We weren't in a rush, but a lot of people were clearly frustrated. So many people were ordering iced coffees (it was hot out), and I started to notice that a lot looked kind of watered down. I thought maybe my mind was playing tricks. Nope. When we finally got our drinks, mine was really watered down with the ice, and my husbands "Frappuccino" was pretty melted. I'm pretty sure they were pouring hot drinks over ice instead of using a cold brew. It may have been because they were so busy so, I'm not totally disregarding it. I would give it another shot at a less busy time.

Denise C.

Yelp
Friendly, helpful staff. Great coffee, well-made, best coffee I've had in weeks. Nice atmosphere.

Neal W.

Yelp
Crazy busy on graduation weekend, which was not surprising but still frustrating. The egg sandwiches were huge and filling - and I think worth the wait. The coffees were very average though. They have a roaster in the dining area that looks too clean to be there for anything other than show, but I don't know for certain.

May M.

Yelp
We love coming weekly for coffee and baked goods. They have amazing coffee. I love their avocado toast with fried egg. Customer service is great.

Jennie S.

Yelp
Excellent food, well priced and very accommodating staff. Highly recommend stoping at this local gem when visiting Williamsburg! They are especially helpful with accommodating for very picky little ones :) So good we went two days in a row!

Pravash M.

Yelp
Overall 4.25/5 stars. Last minute Spring Break (during COVID 2021) trip to Williamsburg. Busch Gardens was AWFUL, so we stopped here to support local. $18.75+tip for large coffee smoothie, slice of pie, and slice of cake. Indoor and outdoor seating, physical distancing enforced, restroom on premises, limited 30m on-street parking. Large coffee smoothie ($4.50, 4.5/5 stars). Employee recommended chocolate peanut butter. Cold and creamy, pleasant coffee flavor; VERY sweet. High value for cost given size. Slice of apple pie ($7, 4/5 stars). Brought back to hotel in to go container, so likely would have been better heated and on a plate. Natural "Aunt B" vibe, definitely bursting with apple slices piled 2.5" high; surprisingly not sweet with a large cinnamon aftertaste. Decent overall forkful texture. Cookies n cream cake ($5.25, 4.25/stars). 3 layers with splendid cookies n cream icing in between. Tad cold with a dense texture, but again, could be to-go related. I quite enjoyed it, while it lasted (aka our kids enjoyed it too). Another high value given the taste and portion size.

Love L.

Yelp
I'm a regular here so it pains me to write this but the flys inside of the shop was absolutely ridiculous this past weekend. They were everywhere. If you order food to eat there, they'll leave your meal open and exposed to the people wrapped around in the line, but worst than that... all the flys just land on your food at will. The owners need to invest in air showers and better door closers. It was a not a pleasant experience.

Natalie P.

Yelp
Coming to William and Mary in the Fall, came to visit and was recommended to come here. I had an amazing bacon, egg, and cheese on croissant.. it was so yummy. The coffee was yummy as well, can't wait to go more!

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
This is the quintessential Williamsburg spot! I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and I have everything on the menu is delicious- the Turkey on Focaccia sandwich is one of the best sandwiches ever and definitely a must try. The ambiance is super fun and a great location for getting work done or just enjoying a cup of coffee on the patio. The baristas are super helpful and friendly and have made every experience pleasurable!

Anna B.

Yelp
I'm a little saddened by my slice of not cheap coconut cake I picked up yesterday to go.

Bridgett H.

Yelp
Service was good. The coffee was also nice. The establishment was also very clean. It was busy but the wait time did not reflect. That's always nice.

Dave F.

Yelp
This place is amazing...always packed for a reason! The drinks are amazeballs and the food, oh my goodness the food is wonderful. I typically have a different type of sandwich each time. The pastries are amazeballs! Service is always stellar! Thank You

Gris S.

Yelp
Under recommendation we went to Aroma's for breakfast before heading to the museum. The place was busy and there was a line to order the food. Basic breakfast fare but no over easy or fried eggs. My husband ordered the scrambled eggs that were cold and tasteless. Potatoes were too brown almost burnt. I ordered a vegetable quiche that was very dry: it had corn, peas and lima beans?? Pretty bad. Coffee was watered down and not very hot. Needless to say we will never return again nor recommend this place. It was absolutely horrible! and pricey.

Erin N.

Yelp
I saw a cute non-chain coffee shop near Merchants square and decided to support them instead of going to a Starbucks or something similar. My "large iced mocha" tasted like the coffee was slightly burned. It was definitely still warm, despite being an iced drink. The large was like a medium at other coffee shops. It was good enough that I was willing to drink it all, in the interest of making sure I had enough caffeine to deal with the busy historic Williamsburg crowds. I got a Turkey focaccia sandwich. The focaccia looked more like a ciabatta roll, and tasted more like whole wheat bread. It wasn't bad, but it was disappointing and not the light and airy bread I was expecting. I didn't eat much of it. I didn't interact with staff much, but the shop did have a welcoming vibe. Not terrible, but I would probably only go back if someone else wanted to try it.

The quiche was not good, sorry, usually a great place to eat, but it was all bread, no eggs
