I stayed at around the world for the last week and it was the perfect place during a time of transition. I wasn’t sure of my plans and Chay the owner was very flexible and patient when I kept needing to extend my stay. Leading up to a busy long weekend, he came to find me and let me know there was only one bed left the following night so that I could extend my stay again and not have to leave the next morning with nowhere to go since all the hostels in town were booked out which was so thoughtful.
The hostel is clean, and has a very homey vibe. The kitchen has a big table and there is a big backyard with ample seating which provides lots of opportunities to meet people. It’s not a party hostel so it is quiet and calm, but plenty of opportunities to socialize and play cards or head out into town with new friends.
There are also super cute chickens in the yard and free parking in the city centre!! Can’t beat the location, 10 minute walk to the main shopping, bars, restaurants and the market isn’t much further.
