Everyone is was so nice and inviting. The hostel was clean and tidy. Perfect walking distance into the city Center and Woolworths

Don't make any mistakes when you book here - be 100% certain you do your reservation correctly. We accidentally booked the wrong date and the proprietor refused any kind of refund or assistance. No doubt it's a nice place, but I personally work in customer support for my day job and I never charge a customer for a product they don't use. Don't recommend, if you're a human and can make mistakes 😛

After staying there for a while, I can confidently recommend this hostel! Great hostel, close to the center of Christchurch, with a great atmosphere and excellent staff! :)

Nice and clean, host was lovely, but lost a star for the digital mayhem of apps and making accounts to enter.. not everyone wants a digital device and this should be made clear in booking process that this is a requirement.

Lovely place, very central and well connected. The staff is super kind and helpful and the place is very relaxing. It has a nice garden and they do yoga and movie nights from time to time. Good installations and great people. I'd recommend very much. If you want to spend some days discovering Christchurch or to have some rest is the perfect place Thanks for the stay Chade! :)

Booked here a couple of times after being unfairly turned away from a great but now bitter sour hostel down the road (their loss, NOT MINE).Arohamai 2 the brother who had sleep apnea during my stay, he said i had it too but my health is sorted now. The place looks very vintage inside for a hostel but as any cheap fair place, I booked here. I've enjoyed my tumeke journeys there in Otautahi. Would come back here if i pass those ways but there are other gr8 places 2 visit too. Mauri Ora

I stayed 1 week : room, toilet and shower were clean. Close to the center on foot. Cheapest room I found on Christchurch and it was very nice
