To anyone ordering through the Grab app,
I chose to order from Aroy after seeing several positive reviews on Google and other platforms. However, my initial reaction upon receiving the food was disappointment. The portion size was extremely small—far smaller than expected and not even comparable to a standard serving. I strongly suggest increasing the portion size, adjusting the price accordingly, or uploading photos on the app that accurately reflect the actual portion provided.
Based on photos and reviews online, the portion sizes appeared normal, which makes this experience confusing. I am unsure whether the smaller portions are specific to delivery orders or if there is inconsistency between dine-in and delivery servings. Regardless, the portion I received was not satisfying, especially considering the price per dish.
In addition, the Tom Yum soup was delivered without a bowl. In situations where bowls are not included, there is usually an option to add one, similar to requesting utensils. This should be clearly stated in the item description or offered as an optional add-on to avoid confusion for customers.
I was inclined to leave a one-star review; however, I am giving two stars because the flavor of the food itself was good. I strongly recommend that Aroy either increase portion sizes for delivery orders or adjust pricing on platforms such as Grab to better reflect the quantity provided.
