PHENOMENAL EXPERIENCE!!! My wife and I came to visit London from California . We travel a lot, and we can’t say enough how pleased we were with this hotel! The staff was amazing, their concierge or manager Sami was very polite and very helpful. He made sure we were checked in and that our room was ready for us when we arrived even though we had a 24 hour delayed flight. We stayed in the deluxe King room, it was nice and newly furnished. It had a tea station and was very open and spacious. The bathroom was a bit small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast at this location was LOVELY, variety of fresh fruits and yogurts, cereal, hot hard boiled eggs and toast as well! To our amazement, they had Gluten free toast (my wife is allergic to Gluten) and gluten free cereal so she was able to eat a nice breakfast to start our day! The location was very close to the British Museum, and the downtown shopping area and it also has a really great book cafe across the street. There were also amazing places to eat very nearby like the ugly dumpling and a Nando’s! Overall it was a 10/10 experience and it really made our stay very comfortable and memorable. I can’t say enough how pleased I am, and when we visit London again, we will definitely stick to this place!

I stay here frequently and have done for years because it is right beside my office. The manager is such a lovely person and I always feel welcome (and safe with 24 hour reception and secure entry). Breakfast is a bonus for a budget hotel. The (deluxe) double rooms have just had a revamp and are lovely, making it great value. Would happily stay again - in fact I am, next week!

The room was very well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. There was a tea station in the room and a TV as well. The bathroom door was weird though, transparent. I found that odd and uncomfortable as I was sharing a double room. This should be seen to. The service was great with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed the breakfast most. A delicious selection of fruit, veggies, cheese, meat, cereal, toast, and pastries alongside different teas and coffees. Overall, a lovely stay and would recommend for an affordablenovernight booking.

Best thing about the stay was Sami, what a humble man he is. He made the whole process go very smooth. Made sure I enjoyed the breakfast they offer to take feedback. Went all the way out with me to the door to show me the directions for a good cafe he suggested for me to sit and enjoy my coffee while waiting for the check-in time. Room was as you would expect with this price tag I guess.

Perfect location and service. The room is tiny but convenient. Lavatory inside the room but toilets and shower in common space. Breakfast was very good, except the coffee which was too cold. Definitely a good choice if you have to stay in the university quarter.

I was very pleased with my stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and lovely. The hotel was clean and quiet. The breakfast was good. Plenty of variety. I’d definitely recommend it. The only downside is it could do with a little updating in places but as a whole it was nice. Will definitely visit again.

Perfect for solo travellers that are travelling on a budget but don't like the idea of staying in hostel / dormitories. It's located close to under ground as well as being in walking distance to almost all of central London's landmarks , museums, markets and shopping district. Room was clean and tidy and staff were friendly and helpful. You can also choose to store suitcases and baggage before and after check in which was great! Only con about this place is there is no elevator so bags must be carried up stairs.

Arran house hotel was excellent! It’s conveniently located near top tourist attractions, making it a great base for exploring. They have a luggage storage area, which was very helpful, and even assisted us in booking a taxi to our next stop. A special shoutout to the staff for retrieving my lost AirPods after I checked out—they went above and beyond to ensure I got them back safely. Highly recommend this place!
