I like Mexican food, but this place here?... DANG! I've never had "Street Tacos" before this day. Real Tacos should be messy, and have that taste only a Mother's Love has. ARRIBA MEXICAN GRILL has it. Adorned in Fiesta decorations and a very time-warp feel into the past. This restaurant has an unmatched atmosphere that goes very well with the food they serve. I give this restaurant a 5 out of 5 STARS. 4 STARS for service, ONLY because the tables were full and the waiter could not check on us as much as she should have, and that's not a bad 4 STARS! This waitress was BUSY! And 5 STARS for the atmosphere. The dining has inside tables as well as outside tables. If you ever find yourself near this restaurant, don't hesitate. EXQUISITE! And I personally do recommend the "STREET TACOS". Another favorite of mine in this world of CUISINE. 5 STARS! DEFINITELY! 5 STARS!

Husband and I stopped here for lunch, place is very festive inside, they have breakfast as well! Ordered their chimichanga with rice and beans and Husband ordered Pollo Diablo with rice and beans. His food was so spicy he really couldn't eat more than half of it. My food was good, a bit pricey though ($51 before tip). Was a nice visit but probably won't be back because of the price and the quality.

Amazing experience at Arriba Mexican Grill! My wife and I visited today, and we were blown away by the food—absolutely delicious and flavorful! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. Every staff member was friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

My first visit here, and I had stopped in because I was craving chorizo and eggs. I waited for a couple minutes to be seated (no one was at the front), but when the woman came to seat me, she was kind and told me that yes, they do have chorizo and eggs and showed me on the menu. When I sat down, a man immediately brought me chips and salsa and she started to walk away but then asked if I was ready to order. I, of course, ordered chorizo and eggs. And a coffee. She asked about all the options, then said "and water?" I said "yes please" (I had just completed a workout next door at F45). She asked what my other drink choice was. I enjoyed the tortilla chips and salsa until she returned with my order. It was delicious!

Great food. We had the flautas and a ground beef burrito. Flautas were very crispy. I love the rice and beans. I would recommend to others for great tasty Mexican food. The bean dip was also a little spicy but good.

I ordered on Uber and can’t wait to visit the restaurant in person. I love the taquitos with cheese. The chips are fresh and the salsa has a good flavor. We had a great experience at the restaurant as well. We like the new back bar. The draft beer selection is great and so was the service.

Wife and I recently dined at a Arriba Mexican restaurant that left a lasting impression on me. The food had a fantastic hatch chili flavor, and I was pleasantly surprised to receive chips, salsa, and bean dip - a rare treat compared to other places. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impeccable, adding to the overall positive experience. While the service was average, the flavorful food more than made up for it. I particularly enjoyed the People's Champ tequila (endorsed by The Rock) and the vibrant atmosphere with bright colors that transported me to Cancun, despite being far from the beach. The cool decor truly made me feel like I was dining in Mexico. Overall, this restaurant is a great little spot that I will definitely visit again. The combination of delicious food, great vibes, and authentic decor creates a memorable dining experience that is worth returning for.

This location used to be a favorite, but In recent months, the food has been inconsistent and a little disappointing. Our server was great, so that’s a plus. The bathrooms need some attention (and more than just cleaning).

The building is an adventure in itself. You have to walk across a pond to enter and the inside is full of thick wooden beams and ambiance galore. It feels like a fiesta with lights and kitschy Mexican decor. We loved the three dips that accompanied the chips; bean dip, mild and chunky, and spicy. I really enjoyed the Burrito with machaca and all beans. Hubby ordered the Rio grande enchiladas with green chili pork all covered in queso. It's not diet friendly, but it'll make your stomach happy!

One of the best dining experiences I've had! The food is incredibly delicious and reasonably priced. The entire staff is welcoming and attentive, and Teresita stands out as an exceptional waitress who made our meal even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Service was AMAZING. Chips and salsa...I could have happily just had that as my meal. The salsa is on point. I would go back just for that, honestly. The food? Not so great. I ordered a cheesy chimichanga. It was not very hot or appetizing. I didn't eat much of it. Not impressed with the main fair, but everything else was good.

This is the place close by where we can go for New Mexico food. August and September are the best months to visit. They have fresh Hatch green Chile available to take home to enjoy. They also have a select menu which features this spicy green Chile. It is HOT but I LOVE hot chile. Why this is the best months to visit, but any other time of the year the food is good and service excellent. Service is always good when we go in. Wait staff, bar staff, server always attentive and helpful. One thing we notice everyone is always cleaning. So that is a plus. Ambience is great. Not too loud with music that you can't talk to the person next to you. We have started to go there more often because it is the best sit down and enjoy restaurant with great food.

Food has gone down I got my plate today & it was horrible not good tasting at all . Very unsatisfying, I will not be coming back here ! Nasty food but great employees sadly

The dining experience at this restaurant is consistently delightful, as I've frequented it many times. The service staff are exceptionally welcoming, often offering complimentary chips and salsa while waiting for the dishes. When You have to dine late it is nice to have a place like Arriba Mexican Grill to come too. We just came in the door and the Team of Waitresses, their customer service was quick, they seated us right away, one waitress brought warm Chips and salas, then Our Drinks, The Tasty House Margaritas. Another Waitress took our order, delivered our Fresh,Hot, Delicious Food to us. The place was Clean and Friendly. Come and Enjoy! Food is good, service was way off tonight; it took more than 45 minutes to get four entrees delivered. Looking past the above experience, you can get decent representations of New Mexican food, love their hatch chile and anything with fundido sauce menu items.

Me and my boyfriend tried going here for our anniversary ,we were seated and there were probably three tables there already. They brought us chips and salsa and then never came back again while we watched the restaurant fill up and everyone else getting their order taken. Disappointing.

Service was absolutely amazing of food and good ambience. Definitely recommend this place as you get good value for your money. Try their margaritas for sure.

Food is now consistently okay - not great. Service is very good, nice neighborhood ambiance. The ice cubes smelled vaguely of rotten eggs. Please, for the love of God - mop the floors & clean the gas traps in the restroom. The poor servers - their amazing service can't overcome a bad smelling restaurant.

Great service. Quick in. Nice design and set up. Good solid food. Some fun items on the menu and the drinks are good, good bar tender.

First time at this location. I've been to the one in Santan Village a few times. I have to say this was a totally different experience and not in a good way. Francisco was our server and was attentive, for the most part. I ordered Chile Verde... where's the pork??? The pieces were the size of cat food kibble. There was hardly any pork at all. Very disappointing. It had good flavor. The bean dip that was served with the chips & salsa was amazing. When I asked for more they had run out and were making more. I don't think it takes an hour to make... He must have forgot my request. The strawberry margaritas were decent. I had two and the first one was definitely stronger than the second one. I probably wouldn't return to this location... It took forever to get the bill.

Came to check out this place to see if it's good as we haven't found any good Mexican food in AZ. I give this place 3 stars because that's what I think of it. The food was ok. The place is big and the service was good. Our waiter was nice and friendly but the food wasn't to die for or it wasn't omg goodness. I will have to continue my search for a good Mexican restaurant in AZ.

Definitely a favorite for good Mexican food , ambience is great and service has always been good . Wife loves the teramana margarita . I just get iced tea I don't drink alcohol . Good dishes I've had here are shredded beef taco plate , Carlsbad stuffed chicken is incredible and a favorite among those of us that frequent the place . Sorry No pics this time I was hungry and dug in when the plate hit the table and remembered review after I ate

Super cute place. The service was great. The margaritas amazing. But the chips thin and the guacamole average. Then the plate came. Horrible! Old, dry chicken and nasty tasting rice. Lunch was a huge let down. It's too bad because it's such a cute place. I expected the food to be much better than it was. We won't be back. We have amazing other choices around us. We will just enjoy them next time.

Stopped here and I gotta admit that, I enjoy their chips and salsa as they really filled me up! The empanadas on happy hour, are just the right meal when you're hungry but not too hungry. The drinks are ok but next time I'll ask for the liquor in a separate glass to pour it in myself because.... My pina colada tasted more like a shake. I needed it to taste like I'm on vacation ... if you know, you know. I'll go here again to eat . There's plenty of free parking and it's located in a great location next to other restaurants The waiter Daniel was really nice! He kept checking and even recommended the pina colada. Thanks Daniel for your hospitality

We have come to Arribas for years off and on! Always had decent service, but today we had Amazing service! We sat outside, which we normally won't because seems to take forever to get waited on! Angel was amazing!!!! He was all over the service, food came fresh and hot, not to mention quickly!!! He was kind and funny!!! We will be back and now ask to sit in his section! By the way he had a lot of tables inside and out!!!

Margaritas tasted amazing and they can customize exactly what you want. They were huge for the price you pay! Definitely will be back :)

Lauren the bartender was AMAZING as was every staff person who helped me. I was greeted immediately by lovely and enthusiastic employees when I walked in Friday just after 5pm, I was promptly brought chips, bean dip and salsa by a smiling young man and happily greeted by Lauren who promptly made me a delicious margarita and took my order. She was so sweet and great with the other patrons as well! To make a long story short, she took very good care of me and went above and beyond to turn my dreary day around! I can't wait to share my experience with my friends and come back with my family!

We have out of town company and are trying to eat outside as much as possible because of Covid and to enjoy our lovely AZ weather. The patio here is really nice. The restaurant sits close to the road but the rock water fall and pond provide a nice sound break and are pretty. The tile topped tables are colorful and welcoming. As most places are, Arriba's was likely understaffed but everyone was hustling as much as they could. We lucked out by arriving at 6, and their happy hour goes until 6:15 so we were able to order appetizers instead of meals and saved a few bucks. The quesadilla with chicken was HUGE and could have fed at least 2 people, especially after we had powered through 2 baskets of chips and salsa and dip. The chips were very thin and crispy and a big hit with our out of town company. I was less than thrilled with my mini-chimis, but they were exactly what they said they were. However, I did have a few bites of the carne asada from my husband's tacos and that will be my order for next time.

Ask for the lunch specials. Lunch chimichanga is good, however seems to have gotten smaller, probably shrinkflation. Still very reasonably priced. Place is decorated very well, server was attentive.

Have not been to this place in years. We used to really like it so decided it was time to go back. We had been out and about all day and actually had planned to go somewhere else that evening for a Valentines special we saw at another place. On the way to this other place we realized we might not make it there in time before they closed at 8:30. We got to Arribas and took a couple minutes to be seated. We then waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged when we were brought our chips and salsa. 5 minutes later a server came by and asked if we'd been helped yet, we said no so she took our drink order and our food order. The salsa had a pretty good flavor and so did the bean dip which also had a bit of a bite to it. The chips they served were just ok, I always think that Mexican restaurants should have great chips but I guess not. For our entrees I ordered the Pozole , they serve it with radish, cilantro, and cabbage and a warm tortilla. The Pozole was good and a bit spicier than I'm used to. I drank 2 glasses of water before I finished it. My husband ordered the ground beef nachos. I sampled a couple. They were ok. He really liked them. It was a big order and even with me helping him eat some we still were not able to finish the plate. Our server while very sweet was not very attentive and seemed to walk past us each time without glancing to see if we needed anything. I had to yell out to her once for drink refills or she would of just kept walking by. We also waited about 15 minutes after finishing our dinner before we were able to ask for our check. Will we be back? Maybe, but if we do it will probably be several more years.

I like this place. The food is good and well priced. Their chips and dip are delicious. Drinks were good. We did have pretty Horrible service. The server was just too busy. He was nice so that was great but left is sitting waiting for the bill and I finally had to get up and get to go boxes and he still never came over so I had to find him to get the check. Honestly that was the only bad thing. I will definitely be back. I love the patio area outside too. Super cute. Cool bar area. All in all a great cute place with good food.

Joe the Bartender has a fun, outgoing personality. It's nice to have someone know your order as soon as you sit down. He greets everyone with a smile. Great neighborhood bar and restaurant.

I had chicken tacos and my boyfriend had machaca plate! It was delicious!! Mimosa were great. Terresa was wonderful!! She was quick and friendly! Nice job Arribas

This is an amazing place....esp with Joe the wonderful waiter/bar tender/Mr.All-Around. He's definitely one of the reasons why we have been a returning customer for two years. Ask for Joe! Joe! You won't be disappointed.

Warm chips, salsa and bean dip started our delicious journey followed by an awesome Pollo con queso. Joe was our server as well as bartender and he made a mean margarita! It's our "go-to" for Mexican food in Ahwatukee.

Currently sitting waiting for our food after an hour and a half of being seated. We finally had a waiter acknowledge us - who took our drink and food order although it's been a minute since he's been back even though we've asked twice for more chips and bean dip. So at the moment, we're extremely hangry - and may just ask to cancel. Very disappointed.

Horrible service. Was recommended by a friend to try this place for a taste of authentic New Mexico food. The food was mediocre nothing great or close to being New Mexican. Upon ordering the waiter gave us a no when asking if we could order breakfast even though there was still 30 min left to order breakfast. When we asked if he could check with the kitchen he refused. This should have been our cue to leave. Instead we ordered the chicken fajitas they were ok nothing great the tortillas were cold. I was looking forward to liking this place because it's one of our neighborhood restaurants. Should have taken the drive to go eat at Little Anita's.

The service is honestly really bad, we came in and got seated in 5 min but once we were seated we waited 35 minutes and no one came to ask if we been served for beverages or food Seemed like only one waitress was waiting on all the tables. This has been the third times this has happened and finally we just left. They had over 5 people in front desk talking.

Queso Fundido is nacho cheese. White Velveeta or some disgusting choice of "cheese". Not at all what queso fundido should be.

As usual it's awesome!!! The white sands chimichanga is the best! The service was fast and the food was done correctly.

So disappointing!! Been coming here for years I never thought it was amazing but solid prices, constantly decent food, good drinks and service made it worth coming. Came here for happy hour Fri night service was incredibly slow even though the restaurant didn't appear busy in the slightest and had lots of staff walking around. I HATE sending food back and don't think I ever have before, but the cheese crisp had a bug on it when it came out, sent it back and our waitress was very apologetic about it and replaced it promptly. Then the guac she had a hair in it but didn't we say anything. Food was okay, not great there's definitely higher quality Mexican food around. We had finished and waited so long for the check and didn't leave until 10mins after they closed even though we had been ready to go for quite some time. They did comp us for the cheese crisp (after we had asked them to do so) but I unfortunately don't think I'll be returning. Great drinks though and really nice waitress!!

This location is the worst. The food is bland, the rice is hard. Also, the service is mediocre. Our server was so short with us, never gave us a chance to ask questions. Also, not too mention the floor were dirty and wet. No one attended to the wet floor at all! Probably never come back. Ill stick with the camelback location

Jaimy was awesome and the pollo con queso was so good! Quick service too. She was quick to smile and noticed when we needed refills. She was very friendly and was able to help pick a desert.

Stopped by Arriba the other day for some awesome Margaritas and tacos! Jamie took excellent care of us and the food was amazing!

Reviewing bar and service, didn't have dinner. Stopped for Happy Hour, sat at the bar. Joe was busy but very attentive, hard to get service like that in today's world. Keep it up Joe! We will be back to see you. Dave & Jan

the best Mexican food in the valley!! their bean dip is so good! everything on the me menu won't disappoint! Jaime is the sweetest waitress and so attentive!

First time coming here and I was highly disappointed. Party of 4 and all felt the same way by the end of our meals. They give you chips, salsa and bean dip. The bean dip tasted like it was fresh out of the can. Ordered the two tacos plate (one beef & one chicken) and it was very bland. The beans also tasted as if they were from the same can the bean dip came from. We also ordered the Chili Verde and the Chicken Especial that included chicken, jalapeño and cream cheese. We all love spicy food but these two dishes were beyond spicy to enjoy. It was very bland but felt as if it was replaced with the highest heat to give it flavor. Waitress was not very attentive and didn't check on us often. Overall, super disappointed because the place has a really great aesthetic.

Great hangout place meet up with Friends at the Bar side during happy hour. Joe is our bartender and who we come to see. Great attitude and quality service. The tortilla soup is very good and always get the mini chimis.

Jamie is a good server. Gets customs order right. And brings guacamole and sour cream. I don't know if that's standard but always receive those when Jamie serves.

The chicken tacos are always delicious. Our server Joe, is always polite and professional.

Driving up for dinner on a Wednesday evening, we were surprised by the number of cars in the parking lot. Despite that, we did not have to wait to be seated. My wife turned it up with her à la carte order and our server was more than accommodating. My strawberry daiquiri was watered down,and the Mexican rice was meh.
