I only caught a few glimpses of these rugged peaks, when flying past them on my way to land, from the lower Arrigetch Creek, and from the Alatna river, but they were spectacular. Climbers all singer their praise, and mountaineers love to brag about climbing them (in the best way of course, I love the stories). If you are hiking to them from Circle Lake, let me give you a tip, after you land climb up the hill, I know it will be crazy steep and your pack insanely heavy since you just got there, but trust me, climb up the hill and get above the tree line, and out of the swampy tussocks that cover the hillside and valley floor. Take it from someone who has crossed that crippling marshland, don't go in it.

Great place to hike. 10 days and bear, moose and other wildlife. Lots of wolf tracks
