super hotel, prices very attractive and a lot of comfort. Close to the train station and all the transports bus/metro… The quarter is safe. We came as two 20’s girls and we absolutely no felt scared to come or go at night ! there is all the equipment we needed. Super spot, if I’m coming again to London I’m gonna be there again !

This should be a 3 star hotel! The rooms are a decent size, the bed is comfortable, the area is great and quiet. Finally, the pressure in the shower is incredible, wow! It's like a massage!! Stayed in a few cheaper last minute hotels before and this was by far the best

Stayed here a few times paying their winter rates (very cheap) and have to say it's the best cheap hotel experience I've had in central London so far. Like all budget hotels there are little issues here and there but the service is good and the guys solve most troubles pretty quickly.

I recently stayed at an affordable hotel just 8 minutes from King's Cross, and it was great! The location was super convenient, the staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for a budget-friendly stay!

Genuinely the worst experience of my life in this hotel. We had to leave after one night because we felt so unsafe and disgusted. Wrote an email to customer service weeks ago and have not gotten a response. As 2 girls studying abroad we felt as though we needed to evacuate immediately after a sleepless night. A few examples from our stay - a bathroom door that was broken so there was no privacy (literally would not shut) -no window lock , and as our window was directly in someone’s back yard we felt extremely unsafe - banging all night - stains covering the walls - someone banging on our door in the middle of the night - a phone ringing under our bed that was not ours - heat stuck on the highest setting to the point where the rooms air felt thick - a dinghy lock on the door - the window opening and shutting on its own all night because of the wind and we did not have a lock - awful customer service not responding to our needs - the room is literally the size of the bed so if you are clausterphobic this is not for you

Cheap hotel in London. Checking in was awkward with printed notices all over the place. Not clear which were important to read. Public areas are a bit dated. The room was small, as you would expect for London, it was very clean and presentable. The shower leaked and was otherwise passable. The water at the sink was very low flow for some reason. I would return.

ATTENTION STUDY ABROAD TRAVELERS: DO NOT BOOK UNLESS YOU WANT TO FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE. Arriva Hotel was advertised as a mediocre hotel, if one could say that....maybe scarce and carless is the word?? To start we arrived late at night, 1 am after hours of travelling. We knew what to expect (Or so we thought - Thinking it was a place to stay with a clean bed and bathroom and safe environment) BUT WERE WE WRONG. Immediately entering the room, we felt unsettled, it was bare to the bones. Inside was a bed (taking up majority of the whole room and had a white thick stain on the duvet), 2 flat pillows, a tv the size of a mini ipad and a side table. The walls had peeling paint and stains, and little privacy in the bathroom as the door would not shut (It was a sliding door, and was stuck open). However, we tried to persevere. We hesitantly unpacked, just needing to sleep. However, the accommodations were not to standard; the sink was probably about 3 feet tall, making it uncomfortable to wash my face or brush my teeth, and stepping into the shower was a disappointment, the water pressure must have been installed in the 1600's, because it was barely there! However, I was thankful there was at least water, soap, and a towel; So I ignored it and headed to bed. This is where I realized, this would be the longest night of my life. As if the condition of the bed didn't suck, I had to sleep feeling unsafe THE WHOLE NIGHT. The window did not have a functioning lock on it. I REPEAT MY ROOM ON THE 2ND FLOOR, OVERLOOKING A DINGHY COMPLEX'S BACKYARD, WOULD NOT LOCK. It was banging and whistling all night from the wind, opening and closing, it seriously was my own personal horror movie. I would wake up afraid every 20 minutes. It sounded like someone was trying to get in, and I was too terrified to double check and prove wrong my thoughts, so I sat in fear. When we expressed our feelings to the desk attendant, he could care less. 2 scared young women standing in front of him, telling him of our uncomfortable and scary experience, and he just sighed. We know what was advertised and it was NOT THIS. I am never one to write a review, unless it was truly horrible, which this was. TO ADD ON TOP: My travel buddy, emailed the hotel & heard no response, not even to show remorse for our situation! Seriously needs to look after the people PAYING FOR A SERVICE. Maybe then, more money would come in, upgrades could be made, and guests could be left feeling safe.

Rooms very old and dated. Not the cleanest of rooms. No shower wash although there was soap the basin. Very thin pillows no options for more. Could do with a lick of paint at least. Was ideal for what I wanted. Would not visit again
