I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others.
Upon arrival, my sister and I found bedbugs/insects in our room, which we immediately reported at the reception. We were told we would receive a refund, and based on that reassurance, we left the hotel and arranged alternative accommodation at the very last minute — which was significantly more expensive due to the late hour.
However, after leaving, the hotel suddenly changed its story. Despite having initially approved the refund, they later withdrew it without any valid explanation. From that moment on, their communication became almost nonexistent. Several emails went completely unanswered, and the hotel has shown zero responsibility, zero professionalism, and zero willingness to resolve the situation.
We ended up paying twice as much for new accommodation due to their failure to provide a safe room or any support. The entire situation caused unnecessary stress and left us stranded in an unfamiliar city late at night.
The worst part:
The hotel simply stopped responding altogether — not even a basic acknowledgment of my last messages.
This is not how any hospitality business should treat guests.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel.
Not only because of the insect/bed bugs issue, but because of the complete lack of accountability and customer service afterward.
I am now forced to escalate this matter through Booking.com, my bank, consumer protection authorities, and other channels — something that could have been easily avoided if the hotel had acted professionally.
