Fabulous place. Great paella and postres. My favorite was the alcachofas in carbonera sauce. It was brilliant. The sweet potato hummus and the salad was fine.

Despite its relatively remote location (in the outskirts of the city, you would most likely need to take a car there, plenty of parking spots around though), Las Bairetas is one of the best traditional Valencian rice restaurants in the region. The locale is modern and the staff is very attentive, there is a nice variety of entrées that all have an alluring appearance and sense of sophistication. Beware though, do not overfill on these dishes as the star is the rice dishes that they cook (on demand to be done BEFORE the visit) over open flames that are managed by expert paelleros. Been here several times and it has never disappointed, fully recommend, particularly if you want to try actual paellas and rice dishes and not touristy garbage that can be found in many other places.

Was introduced by Valenciano friend. Really happy with this paella. One of the top even with good price. Service is good. They even showed us the kitchen and explain if you ask. Good experience to see the kitchen

Went here for my daughter's birthday - what a find! The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. This will become a regular place for us. Had the rice "seco" on the recommendation of the waitress, which was a great call. They even let my daughters go and see the fires and say hi to our chef. Oh, and try the croquettes! The next door place is a takeaway for the same restaurant too - so if you can't get (and it's worth reserving), that's a good fall back.

40 euros per person. 15 euros for paella - this is fine, it was good and its quite an experience having the large tray be brought out for you. 1.5 euros for water - I'd prefer to not have to pay for water but it is what it is I guess 3.5 euros bread and nibbles 5 euros chocolate mousse dessert - fine, very soft, nothing special. 15 euros wine - this 30 euro bottle of wine just tasted like a 5 euro bottle of wine so I wouldn't be doing this again. Overall, the dining experience is quite posh and formal so this place is somewhere you want to go if you like a posh and formal dining experience. Overall 3 stars.

I experienced this with a loving Spanish family. Learning a new culture and tastes at a wonderful establishment.

Food was amazing, tasty paella amazing buñuelos. The dessert I chose was a too sweet and fat for me, but I probably misunderstood some ingredients beforehand. What I disliked was the mandatory choice of the menu, so that you can't choose to eat just the paella but you pay for the menù including an entrée and a dessert. Also, I think the price was a bit high, compared to Spain in general: 33 euro each + 3 euro for a bottle of water of 1 liter. In the end, paella was amazing, though. And I totally recommend the buñuelos de bacalao
