the seafood paella was so so so good! it even had a thin socarrat crust on the edges/bottom. we ordered a 2-person portion but it was definitely enough for 3 people to share. for the paella, you have to wait 30+ minutes for it but it’s so worth. also the squid salad was really good too! we made a reservation in advance and it filled up pretty fast so would recommend getting one.

I tried their seafood paella and grilled cuttlefish. Tbh my fav was the grilled cuttlefish recommend by the staff. It’s the perfect starter for me while waiting for the paella. The squid is fresh, juicy and chewy. When you eat it with their homemade sauce (a bit like tartar) and bread makes it to another level. The Seafood Paella is also very nice. They perfectly fit the name of rice expert restaurant. Just the prawn a bit hard to eat as your hands get messy. (Feel bad to get your hands dirty in such a fancy restaurant settings)

The best paella in Madrid!!!🌟 honestly, maybe all of Spain! It was so so so good we came back twice!! our first night in Madrid and our last. We tried the creamy paella, sautéed garlic prawns, and crispy calamari - not just good, but way beyond expectations. So yummy! Great vibes, amazing food, and super friendly staff. Special shoutout to Fredy, Gina and Alvaro for being so kind and helpful. Gracias!! Definitely a must try! 🍤😋

Very nice people here. My first time in Europe,& my first time in España. A little more high end than what I’m used to back home 😅 but I think it is still reasonable here. Thank you! Oh yeah, maybe if you have a party f more than 1, then you should make reservation. However I was traveling solo and was able to be seated right away at 7 anoche ¡¡mucha gracia!!

Unfortunately, the staff speak almost exclusively Spanish and are reluctant to speak English! The food was great. The fried baby squid could do with a sauce or dip to go with them. That would make them easier to eat. Otherwise, it's a good restaurant and worth recommending if you know at least a little Spanish!

A great place to have an authentic Paella. It’s so good with many great flavors. However I hated that the shrimp wasn’t cleaned. Even if it’s a traditional dish we are in 2025 and everyone eats cleaned shrimp especially that some of the shrimps while i was trying to open it a green unknown liquid was spilled from it which made me lose my appetite. Moreover, no one has the time to open and clean the shrimp when we want to enjoy our meal. Additionally waiters felt offended when we ask them to clean the shrimp or remove an item such as the mussels from the dish. They need to understand that it’s not an offense as much as it is personal preference:) also price is high for amount of portion.

Upscale place for paella - definitely popular so you should try to make a reservation if you can. We walked in and got the only available table when the restaurant opened. The seafood paella we shared was excellent and quite big too. Would recommend!

One of the best paellas in Madrid! The service is very attentive and helpful, and they do speak English. Menus are accessed by scanning a bar code. The decor of the restaurant is a very bright casual vibe (there is a more formal setup next door but not sure if it was a different dining area as they share the same arrival desk). They do provide olives and bread sticks and bread to munch on whilst waiting for the food. You can decline as there is an extra charge for it but it is good (the hummus dip was very creamy and flavourful). We ordered a mixed salad and the seafood paella. Note that paella dishes take about 35 minutes to be served but the timing of the service was such that it didn’t feel that long. The salad was large, with very fresh and crisp vegetables. They provide an excellent vinegar and olive oil for you to dress the salad (the olive oil was also excellent for the bread). The paella was impressive! The rice was cooked al dente in a very flavourful deep seafood broth. It was packed with seafood mixed in the sauce rice (calamari and shrimps). On top were a handful of clams and mussels along with 8 huge prawns. The seafood was cooked perfectly as it was still juicy and moist. It was hard to be elegant eating these prawns as the fingers got very messy , thankfully they provide wet wipes for cleaning up. The place gets busy so suggest make reservations online. They will confirm via email and WhatsApp (so no worries if you just have a data eSIM).
