This place is awesome! Where else can you camp, get a beer and learn mountain biking! They were so accommodating and let us book a mountain biking course and trail w less than the required 48 hours notice. Our guide and instructor, Aspen, was patient, encouraging and helped us have a great time despite us being Flatlanders from Florida! A beer or beverage at the end of your trip is included. We will definitely be back to camp here!

Google
I LOVE this campsite! It has everything you need- perfect location for exploring, spacious sites, goats, food and drink, bikes, dog-friendly, and the bathrooms were clean. Easy check-in and friendly staff!

Google
Awesome bike rental location. Reasonably priced, right next to trails including some of the best views in New River national park, so don’t need a rack or big car or anything. Didn’t get a chance to try out the food or beers but the vibe was on point for sure.

N. Smith

Google
Great, laid-back spot with food to hit the spot after a ride… and the beer selection! They have you covered. We rolled in not knowing what to expect. The bike shop fixed up my son with a new tire and offered up some guidance where to ride. Will definitely be back!

Google
We camped here from Monday to Saturday, it’s a very relaxed place, particularly on weekdays, with the biking tracks and petting goat area, you will have a wonderful time here. The food is delicious too. Bike rentals are easy and fair price, the stuff working there is very friendly. But some cons or improvements desired: 1. The shower areas are not huge, also with only two stalls, sometimes we have to wait. 2. The shower water will automatically stop every single minute in women’s bathroom, and my husband said he needed to keep pressing the button all the time in the men’s bathroom for the running water. These features make it a little hard to shower the kids. 3. I wish we could have warm water in the dish washing area. 4. The camping space is not huge, two vehicles for each campsite are doable, however when our neighbors had one trailer plus two cars, it’s getting too tight. and zero privacy between each sites.

Google
We camped here Thursday to Sunday and had a great time. The vibe here is super laid back, lots of tent campers and a few rv spots. All the staff is really nice, with a great bathhouse. The bike park is a great feature even if we didn’t ride it. I would totally recommend anyone, whether you’re a family or a group of friends stay here!

Google
Stop here after you finish Long Point (or before!). The fish tacos are as good as they get. Service with Jakob was 10/10. The food is so good that it would be worth coming here even if you’re not hiking.

After a hike at Kaymoor, I was tired and hungry. Thankfully, Arrowhead was just minutes away. Great brews, delicious food, hot showers, and nicely maintained campsites. Can’t ask for better accommodations!

Yelp
Arrowhead Bike Farm and Campground is quite the hidden gem. I was here after I got together with the boys for a day of riding bicycles off a cliff near the New River Gorge Bridge. I didn't realize the cliff was about 60 feet, so I had to buy a new bicycle -- and pay my respects to the Whitetail family as I struck a 17-point buck below. After that terrible ordeal, I got a killer Bratwurst at the Handle Bar, which was out of almost every other menu item. The Brat was phenomenal, but my fellow cliff jumpers had it the wurst as they waited for nearly an hour for their food to be plated. To add to the quirky ambience, the farm also had a slack line, so I was putting my broken legs to good use and nearly made it across in one piece. I'll be back once I find the right kind of superglue to hold my foot in place.

Yelp
We've camped here a few times now and we always enjoy our stay. It's super close (walking distance) to the Long Point trail for the New River Gorge National Park, which we love. We do not actually mountain bike, so we've only taken advantage of the camping and hiking, but we've heard great things about the bike services available here. The grounds are well kept and there is a bathhouse with toilets, showers, and sinks. This place only gets four stars because the tent camping spots are so far away from the bath house (could use another bathhouse farther out on the property), and because the bathhouse could use better ventilation. It's super stuffy/hot in there all the time. There are two port-a-potties out by the tent camping, tho, so there's still something close by! Overall, we would definitely recommend for camping and hiking, and would highly recommend for folks in to mountain biking!!

Nicole S.

Yelp
Really neat spot in the area. We stopped to eat, have a drink and pet some goats and it did not disappoint. If you are a biker this place would be a dream to stop at too. Great service, pretty good food (homemade ranch is delicious), and nice vibes.

Christa S.

Yelp
Cute place, good beer and goats are fun to watch while enjoying a beer. Bike rental available with lots of trails nearby

Dylan B.

Yelp
Delicious tacos and salad. Out of vegan Brats. but cool spot. Mountain bike rental sound fun.

Michael F.

Yelp
Very fun and casual place. Had a few beers, talked dogs and looked at bikes. A little skills area for kids or started as well. Will bring my bike next time for sure for a tour!

Jessica F.

Yelp
If you like beer, bikes and good people this is a definitely a great place to stop. Highly recommend the fish tacos and the brat!! Sadly, we ate too quickly to take pics of the food but it was delicious!

Rachel W.

Yelp
We stopped in after a hike for some beers and a snack. Loved the Coconut Turnpike! Solid beer selection and simple menu. It's a nice spot to rest up before the next adventure. Also they have the most photogenic gots that you can feed. Would definitely visit again.

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
Our toddler loved the goats and roaming the yard! Great spot to hop on trail too. We liked the beer.

Maria K.

Yelp
All of the menu sounded delicious, however, extremely underwhelmed by our food. The chicken tacos were way too simple for the cost - $5 for one taco with chicken, cabbage slaw, and sauce. The nachos were nothing to write home about either. Unfortunately, we're hoping for more out of meal here. Beers were good.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Our group of 12 stopped by for the afternoon and had a great time. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Cold drinks, tasty eats, and good vibes!

Becky S.

Yelp
Great for food & drink plus staff gave recommendations on best trails to ride on our trip.

Charlie H.

Yelp
Awesome community and great location! Great campsites and friendly staff! They have a goat petting zoo and it's very kid friendly! You can come and work on your bike in their shop and take tours around the gorge!

Andrew G.

Yelp
Stayed less than half a mile down the street and was excited for mountain biking as a beginner, only to be turned away twice. Once was because there was no guide available for the intro bike clinic advertised on their site. When I went back the next day around 4 PM to try to rent a bike and join their posted 6:30 PM group ride, I was told rentals are by the day and have to be turned in by 6 PM, so I'd only get an hour and a half for the price of a day, and that the 6:30 PM ride doesn't allow rental bikes (wtf?). Instead of offering a discount for a 90 minute rental or trying to find something that would work for me, the people working here clearly dont care about being accommodating. As someone who would have paid a premium for a first mountain biking experience, I ended up spending $0. Doesn't seem like a good flexible business. 2 stars because the goats are really cute.

Rob B.

Yelp
This is a place you discover while randomly driving in a beautiful area during sightseeing and you fall in love with it like it's your new home. The day I visited this place I was searching for a cool spot to grab a beer and a bite to eat while visiting the New River Gorge and this is the place we decided to give a shot to and I am so glad we did. Upon pulling up I noticed there were goats(I love goats) behind the building in a fenced in area which I eventually later on after eating went and petted with one of the owners kids. The outside area is super cool with a fire pit, corn hole and cool area to chill out, as well as a porched in area where you can eat or drink and relax at after rafting, biking or hiking. I first checked out the bikes outside before heading inside to look around at the bike accessories and sit at the quaint little bar which also has a couple booths to sit at right behind it. The owner was inside and he was a great guy and we carried on a nice little conversation before I ordered my food and sat outside to enjoy a PBR while I waited for my food to come. The girl working that day I believe her name was Aimee(forgive me if I spelled it wrong but I didn't forget about you). She was super kind and super talkative and a super great cook to say the least. After we ate she came outside and chatted with us about the area for a good while before we ended up leaving due to them closing soon. I love that this place has vegan and vegetarian options because I am both. Aimee prepared me two of the best vegan tacos I have ever had, yes even as good as the ones in SoCal. I love this place so much and I can't wait until the next time I am in the area and I get to visit it again. Sláinte!

Yelp
Love the Arrowhead Bike Farm! This is such a special place. Camping, bike trails, slack line, goats, beer and food make this the place in Fayetteville to hang out with friends and family. We had a great night under the trees and lights catching up. They have several great WV beers on draft. As former Parkersburg residents, we enjoyed the POW from Parkersburg Brewing Company. We showed up on a Friday night. I would not choose Arrowhead for dinner on Friday or Saturday if you don't have time to hang out. The bar and kitchen are limited in production capacity. The quality of the food is decent bar food. I would give the food and bar 3*. We had all night and so we didn't mind waiting for 20 minutes to order and another 50 for our food.

Georges G.

Yelp
A lady we met in Charleston, WV after running the H&M Marathon told us about this place. Wow, wow, wow, what an awesome place. About 2 miles from Fayetteville, WV tucked away, the food is absolutely awesome and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They also offer bike rentals and they have goats to Visit with. It truly is a great, fun, clean, friendly place that serves awesome food. We are vegetarians and loved the fact the offer almost so many vegan and vegetarian options. Glad we found it!!

Patty I.

Yelp
Awesome lamb tacos!!! Had a great pineapple cider and hubby had a Berry the hatchet beer that he enjoyed as well. Such a cool vibe and atmosphere here. Stopped by after a hike not knowing anything about this place. So the perfect ending to the perfect hike! But if you are in the area for awhile you can camp and mountain bike on their many trails. Or there is a kids BMX track and adorable goats out there. So fun to see such a fun laid back place to hang out at! Super kind manager that gave us all the info about the place. And now to end the day with a cookie brownie. YUM! Sorry ate the tacos so fast forgot to get a pic.

Clive W.

Yelp
We camped here Friday through Sunday and it was fantastic! Everyone working there was a joy to talk to and the food really hit the spot after a long day of hiking!

Kristina I.

Yelp
Excellent service and great beer! We wanted to feed the goats, but it started downpouring.

Allison D.

Yelp
Super cool atmosphere! We stopped here after reading other reviews on Yelp! The lamb tacos were out of this world (think gyro on a tortilla)! We even ordered a second to take home. Pulled pork nachos were lacking- mostly cheese and hot sauce with only a small amount of meat. Good beer selection.

Priscilla Y.

Yelp
I recently camped here at Arrowhead Bike Farm for a long weekend. I thought it had a cute name and that it focused on bikes, but it is an actual farm! For the most part, I enjoyed my stay here. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to avoid this campground because they have roosters running around! They crow all the time. It didn't bother me too much, but it did for some folks I was with. They also have goats! The campground has a communal tent area and a bunch of private sites. I stayed at a private site that can fit about two cars. It's a clean campground, but not too much privacy since the sites are really close to each other. Each site has a fire ring and picnic bench/table. There is a porta-potty near the private sites. The campground has a shower/bathroom house, which has two showers and two toilets. The showers are free and very clean. The staff were really friendly. They have a restaurant on-site that serves bratwursts and other food. I didn't get a chance to try the food since it opened at 9am-8pm and I was gone during those hours. The ABF is also near Cantrell's Rafting, Pies & Pints, Secret Sandwich Society, and the Kaymoor climbing area.

Yelp
This place is the New River Gorge place to visit. It is near the point trail that goes to the rock cliff with an amazing view of the Arch Bridge. But the trails they upkeep just behind the shop were the best we rode all week. Loved getting some beer after the ride at the shop bar and grill. We had a great rental experience too. All in all I pray I can come back here again. Thank you Arrowhead Bike Farm!!

Mark C.

Yelp
Loved this little place. We stopped by with the kids just to relax and have a drink. You go inside to order, which worked just fine. We perused the bike shop, hung out in the yard, and the kids even ran around their bike track a bit. Overall a great stop after a hike.

Greg W.

Yelp
Rented bikes for a family of 4 to do the easiest trails available. We'll, there aren't any easy trails for families. They won't tell you that young kids won't be able to do them. My wife and 15 y/o daughter just couldn't do it. There just isn't anything around here for casual bike rides. Be cautious. My 13 y/o son and I kinda liked it though.

Jessi P.

Yelp
This place was just what we needed after driving! Awesome draft and can beer selection and seltzer's, ciders, and wine too! Food was awesome! Great outdoor area with dirt bike path semi close small kids and families were riding in as well as goats! Definitely would recommend! Even does carry out 6packs of local beer that saved us a trip to the liquor store!

Melissa C.

Yelp
Awesome selection of drinks and food. So fun mountain biking and coming back for a beer and fish tacos. The curry bratwurst was also outstanding! Goats are adorable and the staff was quick to recommend gluten friendly options! Also loving this jug band Beatles music casually playing in the background.

John B.

Yelp
My friend and I meet here for a casual lunch - we both love the Pulled Pork tacos. For the price I would prefer a little more meat but the flavor can't be beat. Also, we love feeding the goats.

Ryu D.

Yelp
This experience could not be any better. I paid for field camping this weekend and it was the most plush experience I've ever had! I thought the name "Bike Farm" was just trying to be cute advertisement for a biking area. This is an actual farm with baby goats (one white, black, and brown), turkeys, and a rooster. The bathrooms are heated, the shower is always clean, they are very consistent about stocking toilet paper and paper towels as well! You don't need to bring a stack of quarters with you to take a shower as if you were at the AAC. The campsite is small so its only takes a few steps on flat terrain to get where you need. They have a small shop on site with toiletries which is super convenient. I love the selection of quick food. The vegetarian German style curry is very hearty yet light. I love this location because it is very easy to navigate at night in comparison to other potential field camping options. I choose this place so that it was easy for my friend who had NO KNOWLEDGE of the area to meet here easily. This place is nestled near a neighborhood so it stays relativity quiet in relation to how quiet a campsite can get. The trip I took to Arrowhead Farms was the only camping trip I've ever gone to sleep without ear buds! Service at the food / bar area is great. They would constantly ask how my stay was and made sure they kept things in stock. The best part of knowing the keep things in stock is that the coffee is constantly replenished. Its just $1 and some change for a cup of coffee with free refills! I am DEFINITELY coming back here as soon as possible. Camping is near the Kaymoor area so its the opposite side of the bridge of Endless Wall for any climbers who need reference of this location. REPEAT CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!

NinjaJeff S.

Yelp
I agree with all of the previous posts saying that a 5 star experience is an understatement. The Bike Farm is an amazing place to camp and a wonderful bike shop. In addition to the Thursday group ride, I got some really great advice for riding some of the local trails that were really close to the campground. Additionally as a remote worker who spent afternoons working from the restaurant, the wifi coverage was great and I found the staff very pleasant and super nice! Also if you have a campervan, I really enjoyed the field camping for $10/night/person

Kayla W.

Yelp
The food is awesome, the campground was perfect and the bikers flooding in all seemed incredibly happy :) This business has mastered the three in one concept, and created an awesome community atmosphere. Would absolutely camp here again and recommend this place to anyone!

Whitey M.

Yelp
Great little operation and the employees are helpful and enthusiastic! They have a great Instagram page and are always up to something fun. The restaurant is great too!

Keith B.

Yelp
Awesome bike trails, amazing food, and top notch service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great craft beer selection as well. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Stellanie k.

Yelp
Must stop here! Vegan, Vegetarian and meat lovers friendly! My friend and I are from out of town and we're visiting for a weekend getaway from our busy lives as college students. Looking for a good spot to host our last dinner outing hurrah we arrived at Arrowhead for a surprisingly lively and welcoming atmosphere. Service Review: Amy was very professional and super thoughtful! As a newbie to the area, I asked for a beer on draft and instead of picking at random, Amy offered samples! I decided on the "There goes the neighbor" of Freefolk brewery, a tarts and flavorful light beer, Fully recommend! Food Review: Famous Fish tacos--sold 2 to an order, white tail fish was perfectly prepared, a very mild fish that was crisp and fresh. Heavy on the sauce but we enjoyed that! pork taco- pork is tender and toppings r fresh, crispy soft shell taco, MAJOR PERK Braut with curry- well cooked and seasoned! super tasty, also recommend Chilli- MUST GET, BEST IVE EVER HAD! We got to speak with THE Jess of the Jess'a famous chilli, incredibly hospitable and gave an great run down on the background of this place, super chill, Vegan/ Veggie options: Ricotta Pie- 2 to an order, mini but perfect for dessert Vegan bratwurst You must stop here!!

Jade C.

Yelp
Found this gem on the way back from a hike at the endless wall trail. Amazing food. Amazing drinks. Great vibe. Highly recommend trying the "Asian hottie" brat and hard kombucha. Will definitely be returning!

Carlos C.

Yelp
Place is awesome, had a blast with my family, great prices on rentals, all level bikes, food is yummy and great prices, really recommend this place for a family trip who is looking for and adventure, right next to a great view place long point great view

Jamie F.

Yelp
We rented mountain bikes, which were all in great shape. There are lots of trails right near the place, as well as a pump track and some practice jumps right on the premises. We also ate dinner there. They were sadly out of vegan sausages that night, but the vegan and fish tacos were both delicious. The beer selection was great as well. The spinach and bean dip appetizers were a bit disappointing.

Ashley M.

Yelp
We visited West Virginia from Indianapolis for a Labor Day weekend enjoying the outdoors rafting, hiking and mountain biking. On our final day we stopped at Arrowhead Bike Farm for help finding some good trails to hit. Arrowhead did not disappoint, we only wished we had another night or two to stay and enjoy their beautiful farm, friendly service, and unbeatable location near several great trails. Travis, the bike Director, gave us great instructions and a map to the nearby Arrowhead trail system and an overview of each of the trails. He is a true mountain bike enthusiast and it was fun to catch up and learn about the area. After the ride we enjoyed hot showers and lunch on the beautiful patio overlooking a pump track, Biergarten and goat farm--a heavenly setup in my eyes! I highly recommend checking out this outfit when visiting the New River Gorge area- we will certainly be back!

Daniel H.

Yelp
I love stopping by here every now and again it's a great place with friendly people that know there way around food and a bike. An amazing stop right before continuing your adventure through the New River Gorge. David the manager is so friendly & helped me work on my bike. He showed me what to do. Their prices for bike maintenance are fair and sufficient.! Aspen, in charge of the mountain bike program, gave us an amazing tour through the new river gorge. We did long point trail and some arrowhead trails. Super fun trails. I highly recommend any bike instructor here. They are all very knowledgeable! The shower pressure isn't to my liking.

Jody M.

Yelp
Great idea! Neat place. Mt. Bikes, Brats (and tacos!) and beer! Recommend the Mothman Black IPA and the chicken or pork tacos.

Tiffany V.

Yelp
Great place to stop after the long point hike nearby. Good food and beer. Great outdoor seating to help with social distancing, bike riding trails and they have goats you can visit with!

Rachael L.

Yelp
MUST stop after you see the New River Gorge Bridge!! Oktoberfest beer + fish tacos (which the nice bartender recommended) = fantastic!!!

Robert B.

Yelp
Creative menu, amazing beer list with many local choices, puns, and friendly service. I had the gear-o (ok, I chuckle at any wordplay), and tried two local craft bears. They had interesting choices for vegetarians and vegans too. Sounded good to me as someone who is reducing meat consumption. Outdoors on the deck watching kids riding the novice mountain bike track, and the small herd of goats was amusing.

Ivona B.

Yelp
We had a large group that stayed in the campground. The campground was small, but plenty of room for us, very pretty, and with good shade, which is important when it's 95 degrees. It is non-electric. The restrooms are clean, at least the women's side, and the two showers roomy. Bonus, you don't have to pay to use showers. The little restaurant/bike rental is rustic and welcoming with loads of local (and very good) beer. They have recently started working with Chef Mark who is updating their menu and has made the most fabulous slaw to go with some of the best fish tacos we have had. You have to stop here just to have tacos and the slaw! I have not tried anything else, but everything everyone else tried seemed to be excellent.

Lauren H.

Yelp
stopped by on our way to new river gorge, very close by. very cool, relaxing, and unique dining experience. goats on the premise as well as bike paths. great beer, awesome food, and friendly staff! bartender was awesome, chatty, and offered samples

Elisabeth B.

Yelp
What a great addition to the New. Really simple (Indian influenced) and fast offerings with a nice area to play cornhole and covered tables. You can dine here even if you aren't camping. Grab a few items to share including a few different bratwursts and really delicious roasted potatoes. Good beer selection and water in a cooler on the deck. You can rent bikes here too.

Chuck A.

Yelp
On Sunday (09.29.2019) a group of us hiked the Long Point Trail that overlooks the New River Gorge near Fayetteville, West Virginia. Afterward we wanted to grab a beer and a bite to eat, and one of my friends suggested Arrowhead Bike Farm. I'm so glad he did. It's a wonderful little combination of a eatery, music venue, and bicycle shop! It's hip without being pretentious, with good food and a great selection of beers, including the Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA on tap, which is what I had. The weather was lovely and staff was very friendly. As soon as we walked in, the woman behind the counter asked, "Are you coming from Long Point?" .... as I'm sure a lot of people do!

Danielle H.

Yelp
Arrowhead exceeded all of our wants and needs!! We showed up later in the evening and couldn't check in (or get firewood) but one of the guys who runs it also lives above the office & saw us come in!! He rode his bike over to our site and helped us get settled, purchase firewood and offered us up to the Biergarten for beers when we were all set up. They provide a VERY CLEAN bathroom/shower house within walking distance of camp - there is a Port-a-potty on the camp site itself as well (also well maintained). The Biergarten has AMAZING food - the fish tacos were to die for. Not only was it a beautiful, clean, welcoming place but it's a great location for anyone coming to hike or climb. We went down with intentions of climbing (also, amazing routes all over) and never drove more than 15 minutes to any of the crags. PET FRIENDLY!!! and when I say pet friendly I mean, they treated my dog like a King during our stay. Unfortunately we did not have time go check out the actual bike trails they had on site but they do have Group Rides and we hung out with a group of people who ride together once a week & they were too, very welcoming and were from ages 20-60 so that may be something worth looking into too if you're coming down solo, just to meet people!! I would recommend this place 10/10 times and plan on coming back in the near future!!!

Jim F.

Yelp
Food and atmosphere are great. Kids loved biking, hiking, and the goats. Food was very good and the beer selection was great. Friendly staff too.
