"The weekend’s centerpiece tasting area: a sprawling pavilion where hundreds of winemakers, distillers, and chefs converge to offer samples, guided tastings, and the stories behind their flavors. Designed as a central hub of discovery, it’s the place to sample a wide range of regional and national producers, learn about pairings from beverage pros, and meet chefs during focused showcases." - Karla Alindahao

We’ve gone to Fredericksburg twice now with friends and Arrowhead has been one of our favorite wineries to visit. The owners are amazing and treat you like family. Their very sweet dog Perdy greets you at the door and walks you down the creek where you can enjoy a glass of wine. We purchased a bottle that Mark kindly let us customize. We highly recommend stopping by to meet them and enjoy some of the most unique wines in the area! Thank you Mark and the Arrowhead family for making the experience feel like we belong there.

Google
We had a truly wonderful time here. The owner personally greeted us at our car upon arrival, accompanied by a sweet dog, which made us feel instantly welcome. We spent 2–3 hours enjoying the entire property, including a beautiful gazebo overlooking the river at the back. It’s a fantastic spot to visit, especially with the two unique settings: the upscale shed bar and the classy, inviting house. The wines were delicious, offering a nice variety, each with its own interesting story. Definitely a place we’ll return to—and perfect for bringing out-of-town guests!

Google
Stopped by this winery by chance and it was absolutely amazing spot! Family owner, veteran owner and business partnered with other veterans, this winery is doing the most amazing job! Plus the ranch dog Perdy is A+++ tour guide for the property! History buffs will love this place for the thousands of authentic arrowheads and if you get a chance to hear the history of this location from Mark is absolutely amazing! Erika is a great hostesst that goes into the science of the wines and makes you feel like family just having a good time ! Dog friendly and can take a dip in the perdenales River if you want.

Google
Best wine tasting experience I’ve ever had. Extremely friendly and passionate owners with a love of local native history and our armed forces. Very unique bottles with military-styled patch labels and literal arrowhead labels as well. Make sure to ask about the property’s story.

Google
This venue is so nice. The wine is fantastic, they are all about honoring their Veterans. There is a great walking trail by the River and the atmosphere is so welcoming!

Jane T.

Google
The owners were fantastic! We were immediately welcomed by Perde and she was a fantastic tour guide to tour the river. It was gorgeous! Their peach wine was refreshing to cool off in the heat! Mark, Josh, and Erica were all great hosts. Service was phenomenal. We’ve never been to a winery where we felt this level of welcome and this kind of experience (and we’ve been to more than we’d like to admit). Love that they honor veterans and loved supporting them even more after learning about Josh’s service. The patch wall was a great touch in the tasting room! Worth the visit!!!!

Google
This is a young, growing family owned company. The hostesses were very hospitable and you can tell they know their wines. I gotta say the Chardonnay was the best one being that was soo smooth, but the wine with the arrow head stone has an interesting dill taste. Overall great vibes and great taste! Check it out!

Google
This winery is a one-of-a-kind place among all of the wineries. The setting is perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The wines are exceptional and you can tell a lot of care goes into each bottle. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and make the tastings both fun and informative. This is absolutely the place to be when you get into town.

Yelp
My husband and I absolutely love this place. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable and really make you feel like you've known them forever. They support the military with a focus on the Air Force which is also a unique incredible cause. The property is expansive and has so many different things to offer, the wines are all very good and they have a little something for anyone's tastes. We also always have to get the charcuterie board which is a perfect accompaniment to relax in the tasting room or out by the fire pit while enjoying your favorite glass. This is a must for us every time we're in town.

Yelp
THE BIG: Located in Stonewall, right off the 490 strip. Arrowhead Creek vineyards has a unmissable sign "ACV" and the grounds are huge. Plenty of parking and they're now closer to the tasting room. THE BLACK AND WHITE: I came here with a couple of friends on a Sunday afternoon and we had the whole place to ourselves. We each got a tasting that included a white, rose, and two reds. The last pour we could revisit our favorite pour. My favorite was the tannat rose, it was nice and clean. The property itself is huge and it cuddles the pedernales river. When we visited they were digging for relics and had heavy machinery to sift through the dirt. Access to the river was immediate and the pedernales river is so calm. Though it is a 500 year flood plain and we don't know when the last flood happened. THE FINAL BAMBOO: Overall, a great winery with fun and moody wines. A tasting will set you back ~$25. If you're military, you get 20% off anything and everything.

Yelp
Best place to go in stone wall! My boyfriend and I have went numerous times and it's a great experience every time. The moscato, rosè, and gsm are our favorites... plus the charcuterie board is perfect. The owners are such great folks to be around and all of the staff is warm, inviting, and fun to be around. Very attentive and welcoming, made us feel like family from the get go! 10/10 recommend for large groups, dates, families.... Everyone! Plus it's military owned-supported-supporting, I love seeing it!!

Yelp
My boyfriend and I visited Arrowhead Saturday afternoon for a wine tasting. Live music in the tasting room, perfect volume. The wine was fantastic, but the real star of the show for us was a sweet lady who helped us out, Jan. She was knowledgeable, witty, and extremely attentive. I would recommend making a stop at Arrowhead if you're in town!!

Andrew O.

Yelp
Fun visit where we tasted some good wines. Will definitely go back in the future. Especially like their commitment to the military

Yelp
I can't praise this Winery enough. The owners are phenomenal and are highly involved with their consumers. It has always been an exceptional experience in each visit. Kim is a jewel, and Mark is so amazing! I truly encourage all to make a trip to things family-friendly space that provides extraordinary wine in an impeccable ambiance. The food is delicious as well!

Yelp
Pulled in and left because a huge black dog was chasing our car and made us uncomfortable. Did not want a dog to jump on us while walking to the tasting room. My sister was attacked by dogs years back and did not this need to traumatize her or make her uncomfortable on vacation. Keep the dog in a fence and you might have business. Parking lot was empty. Just trying to be honest to help you out.

Yelp
Our group from California visited ACV winery for the recent Eclipse event. We went there the day before to check out the winery and to get a taste of the wines available, and to get a feel for the drive the next day for the Eclipse. We arrived on Sunday late in the day and were greeted with a welcoming smile and great customer service. All the wines we tasted were a pleasant surprise given that we weren't sure what to expect (as we come from the heart of the Lodi Ca. wine area). The winery reminded me so much of the winery I work at - a family-owned winery with the passion for good wine, customer service and a memorable experience. The location, right off the road, and next to a river with a beautiful landscape offers a great experience for any kind event that one can think of. The owners, family and staff are friendly, welcoming, as they share the history of the winery and of the wines. Every wine had a unique taste and offered many ways to enjoy them. To name a few that we especially liked are the Sauvignon Blanc, Tempranillo Rose, GSM, Cab, and the Tannat. Just to add a special shout out for the Tannat - I am a big fan of the varietal and I know that it can be a challenge to making one without it being overpowering. The Tannat at ACV is a gem, well balanced, just the right blend of tannins and a nice smoothness for the finish. For my palate, this Texas estate wine is a perfect Tannat, and I will say it would match up to any from California. The day of the Eclipse was even better as we were able to get in a little early to get a table sitting. Again, the staff was friendly, and treated us like family. By the time we left our group ended buying a case of wine to be shipped home. Anyone who is going wine tasting in the area would be wise to not miss out on stopping in for a tasting at ACV for some good wines, excellent customer service and an enjoyable experience. This winery should be considered the pride, and a model of the area. Many thanks to Mark, Erika, Kim, Josh and Jan for such a great experience. We wish you all the best!

Yelp
We didn't plan to our visit, but stumbled upon it when we couldn't attend a vineyard we had planned due to having our kids with us.l, but have been blown away by the owners and their family's story of acquiring the property. The land's historical presence is an incredible historical honor to hear and see the stories of inhabitants many years before. The two rivers that cross the property has a lovely walk as you sip your wine! Watching our kids play as the adults enjoyed their incredible tasting experience was pure bliss. If you love details, the meaning of history and family you will LOVE Arrowhead Creek Vineyards. Did I mention you can also dig for arrowheads and keep what you find?! Come to be blown away by the wine and the untold stories of the Natives' home. We purchased the Sauvignon Blanc and also, loved the Rose, and the award winning Cabernet Sauvignon. The flight room is a literal "flight room" theme designed because their son-in-law is a pilot in the USAF! As I said, the details!

Natalie M.

Yelp
Love this vineyard! They have amazing wine of course and the decor, ambiance, and family service is just wonderful. Truly one of our favorite stops. Also has lots of interesting history! Must see if you're in the FBG area!

Kim G.

Yelp
Beautiful scenery --- tasty wine --- supports military through an organization --- creek area shaded and peaceful

Yelp
This is a great little winery in Fredericksburg. The staff is always so attentive and I really like the wines. The outdoor areas are great to just enjoy a glass or bottle. And as a member I have enjoyed their pick up parties with great tastes and love music. If you are looking for a smaller winery that does not skimp on quality give Arrowhead Creek Vineyards a try.
google avatar

Janet G.

Yelp
John was amazing. So nice and informative. We shared a tasting and found some new favorites. These newbie wineries in Fredericksburg are knocking it out of the park. Try the newbies people. Don't just stick to grape creek and Mesina Hof etc.

Richard I.

Yelp
What a FANTASTIC winery!!! All the wines were rich, bold and an explosion to your palette. If fantastic wines were not enough, Josh, Mark, Candice and Kim are amazing hosts! Claire will take GREAT care of you! She is so knowledgeable on the wines. She made our experience so wonderful it influenced to become members. Thank you for such a wonderful time!!

Noel O.

Yelp
Wow. This place is just beautiful! The grounds are gorgeous. Walk the Perdernales River side or creek side- or both! Each offer beautiful atmosphere and views with turtles, birds, fish and more. The tasting room- comfortable elegance to say the least. And then the wine. Reds, our fav, did not disappoint. Other wines had rave reviews by neighboring patrons, however we stayed with our favorite. Watch for this winery to have some fabulous events and wedding possibilities! The new owners have done great additions and have so many good ideas. Crawfish in April, movie night in May and of course, eclipse plans for April 2024. Write this place down as a must-see. Brides, go visit Arrowhead Creek Vineyards and share your visions. I have no doubt Mark and Kim will make your dreams come true!

Yelp
New winery with a vineyard and a nice stretch of Pedernales River frontage. The small tasting room is in a remodeled farmhouse with high ceilings and two tasting counters. There's only one table inside, though. The outdoor space along the river will probably be enjoyable in cooler weather. I got the red tasting with 3 Texas wines and 2 from California. Everything was solid, but my favorite was the Nihcaro Texas Campfire. Small charcuterie board is quite small, but everything is high quality. Overall, worth a stop!

Alicia M.

Yelp
Arrowhead is our favorite winery in Fredericksburg. They are knowledgeable, friendly staff, great ownership and treat you like family which we love and the scenery is amazing. Be sure to have some wine (the cab is our fav) by the creek! Hands down, the best experience we've had. We've been many times and will be back many more!

Dominic M.

Yelp
A blessing to have stumbled upon this vineyard! Mark and Kim were beyond amazing and hospitable, super friendly and always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed! Wine was phenomenal! Had both the GSM and the Proprietary Red, amazing! Looking forward to going again!
google avatar

Ally W.

Yelp
The workers were amazing and made our first trip to Fredericksburg so special. Definitely recommend! The outdoor area was beautiful and the pizza was awesome!

Yelp
Absolutely stunning property, delightful wines, and kind staff. We were able to relax, take in beautiful views, and learn about the history of this establishment. The owner was kind enough to take us on a golf cart tour around the creek while we sipped on some refreshing rosé. Definitely recommend to anyone exploring wine country in search of a good experience that's sophisticated yet not snobby. We will be back!

Barry R.

Yelp
Been to many vineyards in Fredericksburg. I enjoyed this one the most. Great wine. Erika and Jan are wonderful.

Dan M.

Yelp
Wonderful property great wine and Jan was a supper host! I highly recommend a visit!

Gregg W.

Yelp
Gorgeous venue and location. Wine was very tasty. As I am an avid beer drinker I really liked the wine and could drink it regularly. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. I look forward to visiting again in the very near future.

Jason H.

Yelp
SUCH an incredible gem in the Fredericksburg wine scene. The owners gave us a tour of their beautiful grounds and were so attentive and welcoming. Far and away our favorite stop in the Fredericksburg area.

Yelp
This vineyard is super cool with great vibes. The tasting room is beautiful and they have a cool gift shop. It's a huge property with a guy playing a guitar overlooking the outside bar. We visited on a beautiful clear breezy day and had a wonderful time. It's very romantic as well. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the actual wine, however, my friend loved the wine and bought a bottle. The wine tasting experience was very cool as they gave us chocolate and cake bites that paired with different wines. Highly recommend.

Yelp
This place was a health and safety hazard. We were horrified. The property was gorgeous and great for pictures, but that was it. There was no professional service or health and safety precautions. Staff was not wearing masks. To start, the outdoor tasting area was where we were out since the indoor one was full. I was sitting by the bar and got to see the kitchen area. It was a mess. There were cracker boxes, empty wine glass, staff purses and cell phones, empty wine bottles, trash etc all over the back counter. When another customer ordered a hummus board, we all watched in horror as the server grabbed the charcuterie board out of the sink water, rinse it and dab it dry it with a batter towel and then put the food straight on it without gloves. She then put gloves on to finish the board. It general it was very chaotic and unprofessional. We watched the server fill cups of water form a water bottle. When she finished filling the chord she tools a drink out of the bottle and then put it back on the counter by the empty glasses. I really hope no one mistook the bottle for filling other cups because she left some in the bottle. We didn't enjoy the wine, so we tasted but poured out quite a bit. The server didn't appreciate it, so she poured less and less into each glass. We were there for a total of 25 minutes since the server would get the next bottle ready after pouring the last glass. One of the servers stood in front of the portable AC machine and said "it's so hot! It would feel so good if my clothes we were and this air was blowing on me" I was like...sure. The hummus appeared homemade since it was in Tupperware...if this is how they are in front of customers I'm concerned about the conditions of the homemade hummus. We left ASAP.

Yelp
Had a great time! The staff was super helpful. Me and my girlfriend are new to wine tasting and they helped out a ton. Highly recommend. Pair your wine with the large cheese board! So good!

Collette S.

Yelp
What a great place. The new owners have done a great job remodeling and making it into a special place to have a glass of wine with friends. Everyone is so kind there.

Yelp
Last stop on our wine tour with Texas Wine Tours; and SO glad we saved it for last! Best stop of the day! Best Rosè in Texas Wine Country!

Wendy F.

Yelp
Arrowhead Creek Vineyard is a rare find! Not just a wine-tasting room, this is a family operated vineyard on the banks of the Pedernales river (AKA Arrowhead Creek)! We met the owners, who are wonderful, and made us feel like one of the family! Got an impromptu golf cart tour of the whole place and the wines are amazing. They are just getting started, so give them a try, you will not regret it! They also have an awesome collection of arrowheads found on the banks of the river to back their name. Look for the big ACV sign on Hwy 290.
google avatar

Corina B.

Yelp
Amazing wines. Staff is super friendly. Beautiful scenery as well. I would highly recommend this vineyard to anyone.
google avatar

Randy M.

Yelp
I really want to go to 4.5 stars, but it won't let me. We found this place on a very rainy day after a disappointing tasting elsewhere. Every wine we tasted was good, the staff was friendly. There were a couple of unusual wines, we had to join their wine club. This is a must stop for a great tasting and beautiful setting! My wife and I only do reds, but others in our group loved the whites as well. Get in out of the rain and try some great wine at Arrowhead!
google avatar

Cristina E.

Yelp
This amazing vineyard has delicious sandwiches and charcuterie boards. Don't even get me started in their amazing Cab/Tempranillo blend. Friendly staff, wonderful music, and fantastic scenery by the river. A must go!
google avatar

Cristina L.

Yelp
Came here on a girls' trip to Texas wine country and it was fabulous! We were the only group in the tasting room and got a personal, one-on-one experience. The red tasting flight is fabulous. Thank you for a great time!

Evan H.

Yelp
Excellent stop along your wine tour, very friendly service with some heavy hands pouring during the wine tasting!

Chad W.

Yelp
Our favorite winery with a great surrounding. We Love all of the wines here! Most wineries we like some or most, but not all of them. We live in the area and we look forward to sharing this winery with our guests. Hidden gem in the area. On Saturdays they have LIVE music. Be sure to check out the grassy area along the river if you get a glass or bottle.
google avatar

Keisha W.

Yelp
This place is a gem. We lived in the area for 5 months before discovering this winery. It is quite rare for me to like every wine offered in a tasting but this place exceeded my expectations. I had the red wine tasting on two different occasions and both times were just as good. I look forward to visiting frequently as a member. Thank you!
google avatar

Alex D.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious wine and food!! Tia is adorable and the staff is so friendly! A go-to for sure

Yelp
This place was horrible. We scheduled a tour for 10 people a month in advance they poured our wine and ignored us. Wine was terrible. Not worth it. Slip this place. There's better places in fredericksburg. Not a great experience.

Sara D.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place out. Had heard wonderful things about the wine. I have several friends and family in the wine industry in the area. We showed up at 425p on Tuesday. Upon arrival we were told that we could only take wine to go. (The employee was very rude in the manner in which she spoke to us.) We let her know the website said they were open til 6p. She told us that it has not been updated. She said she was leaving at 455p and if we were on property she was still going to lock the gate. Also she wouldn't do a tasting because she was leaving. Wow...we didn't even ask for a tasting. We told her we would be gone by 455p as we just wanted a glass after a hard days work. She then tried to hand us plastic cups, she quickly changed that and gave us glass. Point being...there is a way to speak with customers. I have worked in the service industry for most of my life. We would have totally been cool if she would have taken a different tone, actually cared and explained the situation. We probably would have bought a couple of cases because we did like the wine but we didn't want to interact with her again...we left the property by 450p...there were other guests still there. At the time we were there, there was at least 12 people there.
