Arrowtown Motel & Apartments

Our first time stay with all our family including 4 young grandchildren for a family wedding. We had the house & a 2bdrm apartment. Fantastic accommodation! Cosy, clean & well set up. Tastefully decorated. Felt like home. Excellent outdoor living & wonderful to have a lawn for the kids to play on. Loved the area, quiet & peaceful. FourSquare a few mins walk away. Arrowtown centre 10min walk. Short drive to Ayrbyrn & Milbrook for the venues. Bus stop outside if needed - bus to Frankton was easy. 20min drive to the airport and Frankton. We stayed here for 6 nights and were super happy with our choice of accommodation. On arrival we received a warm welcome, along with coffee and milk. We were in apartment 3 which was closer to the entrance off Adamson Drive, up 2 flights of outside stairs. It is a really quiet residential neighbourhood about a 15-minute walk from the centre. The apartment itself was well equipped and clean with everything you would need for a stay. The bed was really comfortable. There was an outside table and chairs for the apartment which we made use of in the evening. The supermarket (and bus stop for the No.4 to Queenstown) was just 5 minutes down the road on foot. Highly recommend as a base for exploring the area.

Outstanding!! Probably the nicest motel room I have ever stayed in in New Zealand. The room was spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed with great attention to detail. Arrowtown is a lovely town, and this motel is a minute’s walk from the local grocery store, close to the historic township, and only a 20-minute drive from Queenstown. If you’re looking for a quiet, pleasant, and affordable place to stay near Queenstown, this is an excellent option.

I had a wonderful experience here at Arrowtown Motel Apartments. I will definitely be booking again! The staff were very kind and helpful, letting us check into our room earlier than our designated check in time. The room itself was spacious and bright, and full of all of the essential amenities. We had a stunning view, and were a very easy walk or drive to Buckingham street. When I come back to Arrowtown I am definitely going to stay here again!

The Arrowtown Motel was perfect! Great communication before arrival, perfectly equipped room, very clean and spacious. We would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed in a lot of NZ motels over the years. The Arrowtown Motel is in an excellent location for cycling and they have a covered bikestand with chargers. The staff are pleasant and helpful to deal with, but only from 9am to 5pm when someone is on site, and our room was big and spacious with a small kitchenette. However, on arrival, very quickly we noticed that the maintenance is a bit lacking. The handle fell off a kitchen cupboard, the water in the handbasin takes a long time to drain, the potato peeler needs to be replaced, and the BBQ is filthy. The BBQ is not on site but at the house next door. As a guest we expected to clean the BBQ but cleaning tools were not provided and anyway it was already dirty.

We arrived later than expected, but our info was left on office door, lights were on in the apartment and the heating was turned on. This was a very welcoming feeling. Thank you very much. Rooms were big, clean, beautiful. Shower pressure was AMAZING after a long and cold day. Definitely worth the stay.

We ...5 ladies on an annual reunion meet ,, stayed in the mountain view manor... part of the motel complex..it was delightful. very spacious with great rooms and decore. totally clean.. and I am a clean fanatic. The 2 bathrooms are a good size and really nicely done with under floor heating and heated towel racks. the whole house was so warm with heat pump and gas fire, the beds were beautiful. sun was out and streams into home till late and there is nice outdoor patio area to watch the world go by. Kitchen well equipped.. quiet streets and a short walk to town = although beware there is a bigger climb back on your way home. good parking but a few steepish stairs to get up to house - we all totally loved our stay thank you and would thoroughly recommend....
