Arrowtown was a delightful gem and this holiday accomodation was perfect for our family of 7. A pool to cool off in, mountain views, comfy beds, good shower. A bit hot upstairs as the sun sets after 930pm in Summer but cooled off in the night. The fan upstairs helped. Air con downstairs kept us cool in the day. Friendly and helpful staff.

We recently stayed here as a family for a ski holiday. Very convenient with the 4square supermarket a 1-2 minute walk, central Arrowtown only 10 min walk and both Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski fields close by. Also the new 5 mile Queenstown shopping complex was an easy drive without getting caught up in Queenstown traffic.
The A Frame was cozy with heatpump, comfy beds, very clean accomodation. Very friendly and helpful owner. Would recommend.

Thank you, we enjoyed our stay. My mother in law and her friend found the staircase a bit steep and narrow.

Yelp
Lots of history here, now overrun by tourist-targeted souvenir and clothing stores, and quaint restaurants and cafes that charge hotel-like prices. Despite the tourist marketing, the history of Arrowtown and its Chinese settlement is really the main selling point for me. And, too, its beautiful locale is well-worth the trip out of Queenstown....

This historic town was once an early Chinese goldminers' settlement during the gold rush era. This town is also where Lord of the Rings movie location shots was taken. It is about 20minutes drive from Queenstown. Point of interests include the miners' cottages, lakes districk museum and some nice cafes in this quaint little town.
