Arsela Hotel Pangkalan Bun

Great hotel with amazingly helpful staff who contacted a local tour to book our Tanjung Puting trip. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the restaurant was open late. Concierge also ensured we had a taxi waiting to take us to the airport at check out. A short walk to restaurants and Arut River.

Decent hotel with kind staff. Main problem is the wifi did not reach our room and smoking is allowed inside. The stink of smokers permeated the whole building and crept into the rooms. They definitely need better wifi coverage and need to ban smoking indoors and in outside eating areas.

The hotel near to a lot of shops and food stalls so it is really convenient. The room is spacious and worth it for its price. The breakfast is also great with park view. The minus is just sometimes some rooms can be a lot of ants during rain season.

Convenient and standard hotel in a small town Pangkalan bun. It was easy to walk a little bit for supermarket and street food. Unfortunately this hotel doesn't have a swimming pool.

Worst hotel ever!! Came here while the whole hotel was hired to dozens of children for a singing contest, so we barely got any sleep!! They would not enforce any silent times at all, no consideration to other guests whatsoever. No reasoning, no other room available, only possibility to cancel while standing there at 5pm. Room was crappy and worn out, everything stained. Does not look like the pictures at all. Smallest towels to shower with ever. Breakfast was horrible, only Indonesian buffet which was clearly standing there for hours with the lids open. Asking for food poisoning! No proper restaurants close. Would definately not recommend!
