Room was excellent only bedding, pillows and towels could be of better quality. Beautiful new spa but they have to be more strict that it is a nude zone. There are people entering with bathing suits but that’s not in line with local culture and hygiene standards. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was average. Service and friendliness from all staff was outstanding

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The entire place was spotless — everything from the rooms to the common areas was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The spa was definitely a highlight: relaxing, modern, and very well-equipped. The staff were friendly and professional, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and a bit of pampering. I would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed in deluxe king after booking superior king. But all the superior kings had roll away beds which were like there instead of in a storage room. After two attempts the receptionist upgraded us to a deluxe king with a balcony. Excellent room. Clean hotel. Great bed great location

It was one of the best property we stayed at during our entire Switzerland trip. The rooms were spacious and with sitouts offering beautiful views. The breakfast menu had lots of options and especially the croissants were crispy and delicious. The staff was super helpful and smiling. |I would definitely recommend this hotel for a good stay at St. Moritz.

Wonderful rooms, Perfect services like the best in class restaurant on ground floor, the Sky bar and the wonderful attentive and respectful staff! There were some exceptions from the rule in the service and I do not like that the spa has a cerberus at front door and the sauna is only available on request! Some staff (by far not all) look at clients as if they are from Mars! (Refers to the spa and one if the receptionists)! If that could be avoided next time I would rate this hotel as one of the best in Moritz, regarding the Sky bar maybe one of the best in Europe!

I would have liked to have given 5 stars but there were two issues.|Firstly though, the hotel is well located, our room was very spacious & comfortable. It was really clean on arrival & the staff maintained it that way for our stay. All of the amenities were high quality. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh & high quality. So many choices. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant on our first night where we enjoyed a delicious meal & the portion size enabled us to share & still no space for dessert. All of the staff right from reception through to the restaurant (both dinner & breakfast) were friendly, attentive & professional. Importantly they all spoke adequate English which makes things so much easier for us non- Europeans. Now for the two issues.|We would have loved to have used the pool/spa facilities but they close at 8:00pm. In midsummer, when it is so pleasurable to take advantage of the long hours of daylight these facilities should be able to be used until 10:00pm or even longer. |The hot water flow in the shower was inconsistent & at times became much too hot. My wife even felt that her back had been burnt. Perhaps it is caused by other rooms in close proximity using water at the same time. If that is the case it should be able to be remedied & it needs to be as it could be dangerous.

We rated the Hotel Monopoly highly as our rooms were exceptional, the friendly welcome was the best we’ve had so far, and the refreshing glass of Prosecco was very well received. The shuttle service to and from the station was excellent as the hotel is situated some distance uphill

This hotel was much more than I expected! I was forewarned that all hotels in St. Mortiz were costly, so I didn't want to set my expectations too high. Hotel Monopol is reasonably priced for the town of St. Moritz. Their service in my opinion, was 5 star! Sarah at the front desk took her time with us while checking us in, despite the overwhelming crowd (a group) checking in simultaneously. Our room was beautifully appointed with a bathtub in the large bathroom. The restaurant was delicious for dinner and had the included breakfast daily. It had a large variety and everything was very fresh. Sarah assisted us in planning a horse and carriage ride. All the staff we interfaced with were very kind and professional. Christian at the front desk as well as the waiters at the beautiful sky view bar were the best. I highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone visiting St. Moritz!

Yelp
The Art Boutique Hotel Monopol's central location in St. Moritz is perfect - minutes from the funicular for skiing, and surrounded by great shops and restaurants (Chesa Veglia for truffle pizza and Bäckerei Bad, with its delicious Nut Cake, are highly recommended!). Rooms are lovely, and the double coffee option (in-room and lobby) was a thoughtful touch. Service was excellent, with attentive staff offering helpful recommendations. The funky art, relaxing Sky Spa, and vibrant Sky Bar (with stunning mountain and lake views!) created a fun and memorable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Modern, quaint, very clean, comfortable and excellent service. We were picked up at the train station. Beautiful Spa and sky bar. Views from the jacuzzi are relaxing looking at the mountain and lake. The restaurant also Mono was exceptional. They had a cake ready for our son's birthday, friendly service, tossed salad at our table and pasta was amazing. Will definitely come again.

Yelp
We loved Hotel Monopol in St Moritz. We stayed there off-season so the price was reasonable, and like all other hotels, ski lift tickets were half-price with the room. It was easy access to everything in St Moritz, the beds were really comfortable, and the breakfast (included in our price) was everything you could possible want from pancakes to eggs to bread/meats/cheese. We had a few dinners at the bar and the server was enthusiastic about the food and drink and was more than happy to help with anything we needed. It is an easy walk to the ski lift and to the lake below. The staff is incredibly friendly and the spa on the 6th floor had amazing views. There was a hot tub with huge windows facing the mountains, plus several saunas, a cold pool, and a quiet area to sit and stare at the mountains. There are massages and other spa treatments but I did not try any of those. We were so pleased with the hotel that we would highly recommend it to family and friends. Check it out.

Yelp
Art Boutique Hotel Monopol Via Maistra, 17, 7500 St. Moritz, Switzerland http://www.monopol.ch/en We were so pleased we choose this hotel for our stay in St. Moritz. The location is directly in the center of the upper town in St. Moritz. All the best restaurants are located within a few minutes walking. The staff at the front desk was so accommodating. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite on a corner with lots of windows and plenty of room. Each floor has a different contemporary artist featured (Picasso, Dali, Miro and more). More about the front desk staff; Chiara was committed to us having the very best experience in St. Moritz. Each day she had a suggested itinerary, based on the weather for us to explore the surrounding mountains. She also made great dinner suggestions (check out my reviews for Dal Mulin and Mulo's). Most of the restaurants in town are closed on Sundays, so don't save your favorite for then. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet included with your stay, in the cozy Mono restaurant. We did not take advantage of the spa facilities, but we did discover the beautiful rooftop patio adjacent to the spa. Should we have had a day of bad weather, I'm sure we would have enjoyed the services. Guests have access to the gym and the indoor hot tub (with a fabulous view). Another wonderful bonus in St. Moritz is that you receive free passes to all of the public transportation when you stay 2 nights, or more in a hotel. This allows free entrance to all of the gondolas, funiculars and in-town buses. We were there at the end of the summer season and the cross-ventilation was all we needed, there is no air conditioning. One caveat; the hotel is directly across the street from a bell tower, which chimes every 15 minutes. It was a relief to learn that it is silent from 10 pm until 8 am. As with any resort, there will be late-night revelers returning at all hours of the late night, just bring earplugs.
