The hotel itself is in a great location and has a fantastic view. The spa and gym are wonderful as is the food for breakfast. ||The rooms are basic but the beds are distinctly seperate beds, so even when placed together, it does not make for comfortable sleep as a couple.||The bathrooms lack basic amenities like conditioner, which was odd.||Most upsetting, the hotel had organised a taxi to the train station early on the morning of our departure and they simply forgot, which caused a lot of stress.||It’s still a good hotel but I would probably check elsewhere first before returning.

hotel Art de Vivre Crans Montana||- situated quietly near a lake at the Montana side|- 15-20mins walk to the gondola (some manageable slopes), and the hotel provides shuttle bus to the gondola (no returning service)|- cossy design in the restaurant and bar area|- very spacious double room, with practical design|- the beds are king size and the mattress is comfortable|-Fantastic wellness centre, with an indoor pool with constant temperature (around 12m x 3m, approx. 28 degree Celsius), an outdoor hot jacuzzi , both faced with scenic mountain view and an indoor gym with plenty of equipment compared with most hotels, outdoor sauna in wooden house, and 2 steam rooms with nice aroma|- the pool and jaccuzzi opened from 8am is a bonus|-reasonable variety of breakfast, eggs can be cooked in different ways|-have not tried the dinner as the restaurant was closed at the end of season

Absolutely awesome. Great staff, extremely friendly, well located. Great spa with outdoor jacuzzi. Don’t miss that! Food is very good but i would like to see more kids friendly menu. Rooms are not terribly insulated so there is a bit of noise in the morning and evening. Nothing to bother if you follow the ski schedule though.

Young lady on check in was fairly new but we were able to communicate in English and she was able to explain things fine. The staff in the morning were also very lovely at breakfast and check out, the gentleman on the desk helped me to order a taxi to take me to Sierre/Siders station. The view from the terrace at breakfast is beautiful - see the video! Room was nice in general but floor could've done with a mop and the shower head with a clean. Otherwise the Lindt on the pillow is a nice touch too!

I reserved a massage and then called 30 minutes before the massage whether my wife could use the spa during the time I was in the massage. I was told that this would be fine. Once we arrived we were told that the spa was full and everything would bevorstehenden come first serve. Very unfriendly receptionists.Awful experience and never again

Our initial impression, as we pulled into the car park, was that Art de Vivre would be similar to a Travelodge.|We were pleasantly surprised to be totally wrong.|The reception welcome was warm & friendly, the view from our room overlooking the Rhone valley to the alps was stunning. The room itself was bigger and better than the impression from the website. Could do with a few more accessible plug points for chargers but we managed by moving a small table.|The bar & restaurant was better for service & food than many bigger hotels we have used. They also coped better than most with our allergy issues which is always a worry when travelling.|The location is a short walk from the centre of Crans & Montana, so it's an ideal location.|But overall we will remember the staff, all who were excellent in their service levels & friendliness.

Although Crans Montana is not a busy place in April, we did indeed have a nice experience. The hotel was very peaceful, breakfast was delicious and my special highlight was the delicious coffee! Rooms are small, but bathrooms are great in size; unfortunately the lighting seems to be a little weird, very dark. From the terrace of my room I had the view of the Alps and I could enjoy my coffee with such view. There is a spa in the hotel, outside area as well. The location is fantastic. Beautiful place as a city to be in.

Lovely boutique hotel which is family run. This adds to the quaintness and personal attention. The room I had was spacious and had an amazing view of the mountains. It also had a refrigerator and complimentary bottled water. The chocolate bar on the pillow is a nice touch as well as the robe and slippers to wear to the spa or pool. The breakfast buffet is full of fresh bread, meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurt, granola, juices and the ability to order eggs to cook. I looked forward to the hearty breakfast to start my day on the slopes. In the evening, there is a nice salon with a fireplace and bar to relax by. The central location on a quiet street was very convenient to walk to either the town of Crans or the town of Montana. Also, there is a Migros grocery store around the corner from the hotel to get snacks or stock up on chocolate bars. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and attentive. You won't regret your stay at the Hotel Art de Vivre.
