ART DECO HOTEL MONTANA

What a beautiful hotel! We had a wonderful experience in the penthouse for 2 nights. Oliver & Tim were wonderfully helpful & kind to us & ought to be congratulated on their service. The room was beautiful, and we loved the whirlpool & views. Many small touches which made the stay a pleasure. Dinner in the restaurant, albeit very expensive, was wonderful & of a top quality. Would absolutely recommend! Breakfast is quite nice too. Overall we loved our stay & the staff & would certainly recommend Hotel Montana!

My husband and I stayed at the art deco hotel Montana for a portion of our honeymoon in Switzerland. We stayed in the junior penthouse suite and it was lovely. The views from our balcony were honestly the best in the town, and we had our own private jacuzzi. The room is cozy and welcoming, and I loved the garden bathtub as well. We had breakfast included every morning with our stay and the food was delicious.

After my initial visit in 2021, I returned to the Montana Art Deco during a challenging time in my life. Thanks to its fabulous staff who is genuinely warm and welcoming, the hotel felt like a safe haven. The magnificent and plush decor with the stunning views of Lake Lucerne made the atmosphere very soothing. The breakfast is simply outstanding. Riding up and down from the hotel to the waterfront in their own funicular is fun and makes the beautiful promenade along the lake super accessible. There is no doubt in my mind: I’ll only ever want to stay here when in Lucerne. Congratulations dear Montana team on providing such an extraordinary experience.

I stayed there in one of the junior suite with the lake view. Everything was quaint in that place especially the view that I was enjoying all the time. The suite is pleasant and it is included anything a couple needs. Even if you ask for additional dental kit , or other things that you might want, they will give it to you without any hesitation and the staff are so friendly.love Art Deco

Beautiful hotel with first rate service and stunning views. We had a corner room with views of the lake and the city. Everything about this hotel was first class. The room was larger than expected and beautifully appointed. Everyone we spoke with was great, with helpful information and assistance for booking a side excursion, taxis, etc. The funicular was a fun extra, and made getting down to the bus line very easy. Great stay!

Fantastic hotel. This hotel is up a steep hill so you get the great views of the lake from your room and balcony. They have an elevator that takes you from the lobby down to the lower street level. This is a great feature- you don’t have to walk up any hills. The breakfast is good although a little steep at 35 per person. The Louis Bar is a nice vibe and has good food for reasonable prices.

We have a stay at the Art decor montana. We were told the mini bar and the snacks were free. we had confirmed couple of times and they said that's its covered. but when we checked out they charged us for the drinks and they said non-alcoholic beverages were only free. it was a bummer. we did mention we confirmed couple of times. I would ever go back. we had been to another hotel in Lucerne and they had the alcoholic drinks at the mini bar for free. we spect so much money for the room and its a shame that they charged us for the mini bar. Dont choose this hotel.

Wow, I love this hotel. I am still here and feel compelled to share how wonderful our experience has been! The hotel is lovely, well appointed and incredibly spotless. All staff members I have encountered, from reception to waiters to housekeeping have been friendly, accommodating and professional. Our taxi driver forgot to give us two bags when we were dropped off at the hotel and the Montana staff made all the phone calls necessary to get our things returned! We were so grateful! The views are stunning and with changing light, you never get tired of admiring the lake and mountains. The location is very convenient due to the unique elevator that whisks you from the lobby down to the lakefront and back up - no hiking the hill! We ate at both The Beach Club and Scala and really enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent.
