I stayed a week and didn’t want to leave. Great location in the heart of Bologna. Each room is different and the bathrooms are modern and luxe. The hotel has a staircase that winds around like in a turret, and I loved choosing it instead of the elevator. The breakfast buffet was spread over a couple small rooms and it was both plentiful and artfully laid out each morning along with coffee/espresso to order on pretty china. Plenty of umbrellas in the lobby just in case, robes and slippers in the room, and a souvenir shopping bag perfect for toting all the wonders of the local shops. Loved it all!

`What an absolutely beautiful hotel. The attention to detail is everywhere you look. All the interiors, both public spaces and rooms, are just lovely. I had a small double, but it didn't feel small at all. It had a cute little 2 seater table/booth and a comfy little chair (I hate hotel rooms without a comfortable chair. I don't like sitting on the bed). The breakfast was incredible, as good as those great breakfasts' you find in Germany and Austria. The location is top notch, right in the middle of the city center. Everything is walkable from the hotel. The staff were all kind and professional. Highly recommend.

We stayed in one of the luxury apartments at the end of September and it was a very nice experience. The apartment was located just a short block around the back of the hotel which is literally just steps away from Piazza Maggiore. The apartment was spacious, clean, well appointed and included a TV that lets you access your Netflix account. The breakfast buffet included “to die for” pistachio and hazelnut croissants among other sweet and savory items and beautifully made Macchiatos. The hotel staff made great restaurant recommendations. The only negative was that the mattress and pillows were a bit hard for us. Also, we did drive and use the onsite parking which was great, but getting to the hotel itself is not for the faint of heart driver. Make sure you communicate with the hotel beforehand to get directions and avoid tickets.

Love everything about this hotel. The location is best ever, in the heart of old town, next to Basilica. The room and the staff was lovely, very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was something else, literaly everything you desire, from savoury to sweet things, the display and atmosphere, so nice! Loved it! Beautiful coffee too and the best berries cheesecake I ever had (for breakfast :)). Will definitely stay in this hotel again. Highly recommend!!!! You wont be disappointed. 5 stars 🌟 🤩 . Would give location a 6 if we could, this hotel was in a perfect location for getting around Bologna. The buffet breakfast in the morning had an amazing spread, and Antonio at the front desk answered all of our questions over email and during our stay!

This hotel is top notch. from the staff, the service and the hotel amenities. We stayed in the adjacent "Apartments" and it was even a better location write Infront of the boutiques and stores near Piazza Maggiore.||The breakfast was probably one of the best ones I have seen in on my travels to Europe. A great variety of desserts and breakfast items.|I travelled with my parents, husband and including 2 small children and I felt we were welcomed and accommodated to our needs.||The staff even helped me last minute time change to the Lamborghini Museum reservation and even helped us with transportation accommodations back and forth.||I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

We really loved this hotel but do not stay here if you are driving. It’s in a FANTASTIC location but was very difficult to locate while driving. However, thankfully when I called the front desk when we were lost the woman who answered the phone stayed on the phone with me giving me minute by minute directions to get there until we arrived. Everything else was EXCELLENT and the entire staff are very nice and very accommodating. The breakfast was really great, too.

Really can’t complain about anything. Initially I was hesitant because on the photos the room looks old and rundown. But in reality it’s clean and comfortable; and has it own charm. Service is 10/10. I had an early flight and they packed breakfast for me. The breakfast is 10/10. And you can’t pick a better location to be at.

Embarking on our trip to Bologna, we had a clear vision in mind: a remarkable stay within the city walls, steeped in history, and offering great value without compromising on quality. We sought an experience that would immerse us in the essence of the destination while providing easy access to the local attractions and food that make Bologna so captivating. Our choice of accommodation was a delightful junior suite, nestled in room 119, complete with its own charming balcony. As we had seen in the YouTube videos, each room was unique in its design and character, adding an element of surprise and intrigue. The bathroom was perfectly sized, providing a comfortable and convenient space for our needs. While I personally found the bed slightly firmer than my preference, it still offered a good night's sleep. My wife, although noting that it might be a tad too firm for her liking, considered it a minor quibble in the grand scheme of things. The balcony was a true highlight, adorned with a reclining chair, a pair of cozy chairs, and a lovely table. We were delighted to discover a retractable awning, which, although we figured out how to use it on our last day, served as a wonderful shield against both rain and the playful local birdlife. The thoughtful addition of the awning enhanced our enjoyment of the balcony, providing a comfortable space to relax and soak in the surroundings.Other features, Plenty storage, TV, with various channels, to include some English, and very high ceilings. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were instantly captivated by its stunning location nestled within a picturesque setting. It surpassed all our expectations, even those set by the enticing YouTube videos we had watched beforehand. The friendly staff members and available pamphlets, greeted us in the lobby and eagerly provided a wealth of information on nearby destinations and must-visit tourist sites. As we ventured through the hotel, we found ourselves immersed in a treasure trove of art, discovering intricate pieces adorning every corner and floor of the hotel. We marveled at the meticulously preserved portions of the property, especially the wooden beams, protected throughout. Each floor and room with its own historical significance, and took our time absorbing the stories they whispered by hopeful name, plates, and historical plaques, describing each item, an article. Our exploration of the hotel was nothing short of enchanting, leaving us with a profound appreciation for the thought and care that went into its design and preservation. The hotels efforts and preserving it's history is remarkable. The hotel's breakfast buffet was truly exceptional! The diverse array of fresh meats, teas, cheeses, and other Italian culinary delights must have made it a memorable dining experience. It's fantastic that the hotel's thoughtful design and attention to detail is impressive. Our enthusiasm and anticipation for our next visit is a testament to the hotel's quality and service. I look forward to a future stay.

This place was great. The breakfast especially was amazing!!
