Art Hotel on York

Easy access, comfy beds, very clean with room service daily as a pleasant extra. Excellent shower pressure too. The light pouring in from the corridor was a slight pain overnight and I’d always love a bigger/ decent sized cup for a cuppa! Parking was squeezy but got a spot each day out the front 😊

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights. The hotel inside and out is just stunning. The bed is extremely comfortable, it was perfect to indulge to sleep in. Our room was warm & cosy, beautifully decorated and had its own outdoor area which was perfect to relax . Staff were very friendly and helpful, the whole experience was perfect. It's an easy walk to cafes, restaurants and shopping. The only place we will stay when were turn to Launceston.

Very reasonable price for overnight work-related accommodation. Easy to access hotel and room, comfy bed and close to what I needed in the city. Bathroom a little dated, but overall clean given age. I was lucky enough to get the last parking spot in the carpark near the entrance. Fortunately, an easy walk to Seaport so I didn't need to leave after getting in at end of day. This was a repeat visit, and I will definitely stay again.

Very close to shops, gorge, parks. Room was clean & neat. 1 drawback - there wasn't a lift. We had to carry our bags up a few flight of narrow stairs. Good for the leg muscles.

The only tv available is free to air, I couldn't even connect my phone to watch anything else. Big no for me technology still in the 18th century along with the building. Easily remedied for the price not good enough. Won't stay here again. Pity as the rooms are nice otherwise

We had a very comfortable stay here. |The hotel is quaint with points of interest. It is an older style, which adds to the charm.|Our room was very comfortable. It was extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable, with a variety of pillows, the sheets crisp, and good wall heating, bathroom was old, but very clean and the shower had good hot pressure.|Our room had a casual lux feel makeover, albeit in a very old building, we were outside the main building, which was extremely quiet.|We appreciated the early check in, which we requested prior to arrival. |There was no breakfast available (they are working on that) but the staffs recommendation to a very close cafe was great. |We walked everywhere from this hotel. The furthest place of interest was 20min, some places 5min. It is very close to Penny Royal, the gorge, Stillwater Resturant. |It is on a main road, but when your inside it doesn’t matter. It was easy for uber pick ups!

Great little hotel, very central, nice friendly staff. I would’ve scored it 5 stars but my ensuite although very clean was a little quirky! The toilet is in a very narrow opening. Other than that, had a very nice stay, bed was very comfy. Thanks
