Art Hotel Orologio

My husband and I had a 3 night stay here. Our room was beautiful. Well decorated with all the amenities you could need. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, with blackout shutters. An extremely restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was delicious and staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend more highly. If we come back to Bologna, we won’t hesitate to stay here again - I rarely say that about hotels.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Bologna. Excellent service and caring staff. I visited with my mom for a business meeting. I told them I was pregnant and needed a bright airy room; they upgraded us to a suite room and even sent congratulations balloons, balsamic vinegar gift, fruit plate to our room. So nice, so caring; we felt special. The breakfast was great. Room was very clean. Thank you very much!

This hotel is nice and elegant. The room for 4 makes an excellent family room with a door separating the two rooms for privacy and two bathrooms to avoid waiting times and adds more comfort. It was perfect with a 17 & 10yr old kids. Very spacious too. The bathroom toiletries are good and everything is clean everyday. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. Full of variety with healthy options and local cheese and cured meats. The staff is nice and helpful and the hotel reservation team are very responsive and helpful with all the questions you might have prior to booking stage. I will come again to this hotel if I have the opportunity to visit Bologna again.

This hotel is a treat. Perfect location, right off the Piazza Maggiore, and just a short walk to any of the sights, shops and restaurants of this beautiful and historic city. The staff are always attentive and helpful and the breakfast buffet is plentiful and delicious. My room was huge (how did I wind up in a suite?) and the whole property is lovely. Hightly recommended.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in November 2025. We absolutely loved our stay here. A special shout out to the entire staff, who were friendly, helpful, and offered impeccable service throughout our stay. Noteworthy examples of what we enjoyed include: the location (barely 100 yards from Piazza Maggiore) made for easy walking exploration of this beau city and very easy to stroll to meals and major sites, the breakfast (included) was an absolutely perfect way to start each day - the food and cappuccino were delicious, the hotel itself was beautifully decorated, the recommendations and assistance from the staff for meals, reservations, taxis, etc, and we found the price for the location and experience to be very good. Thank you to every team member of the hotel staff!

We had a lovely time here.||If central matters to you, then you cannot get more central!||The staff were great - booking us tours and dinners at short notice with aplomb and grace. Not sure I have ever been somewhere where the staff remember your coffee order the next morning at breakfast and have such a cheery disposition (maybe that 5am run?)||We had a great room with a wide set of facilities in room. ||If I go back to Bologna I would definitely go back.||Thank you

We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Orologio. Rooms were very comfortable and spotless, we kindly got upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. Staff were very helpful and friendly.||Breakfast had a variety of options to please everyone and breakfast staff were very attentive. ||Location was perfect, right in the centre. ||

My husband and I spent two nights at this lovely hotel. The location is fantastic, the room was perfect, the bed was excellent, but the customer service was superior. I had a billing issue, which was resolved to my satisfaction, and they went above and beyond. Highly recommend and we will stay here again in the future. Grazie mille!
