Art Hotel Orologio

This hotel is nice and elegant. The room for 4 makes an excellent family room with a door separating the two rooms for privacy and two bathrooms to avoid waiting times and adds more comfort. It was perfect with a 17 & 10yr old kids. Very spacious too. The bathroom toiletries are good and everything is clean everyday. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. Full of variety with healthy options and local cheese and cured meats. The staff is nice and helpful and the hotel reservation team are very responsive and helpful with all the questions you might have prior to booking stage. I will come again to this hotel if I have the opportunity to visit Bologna again.

Wonderful hotel! Staff were very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The location is perfect for exploring the old town center of Bologna on foot. The room was excellent with a view out toward the square. And the bed was very, very comfortable. The complimentary upgrade to a suite was really appreciated.

We had a lovely time here.||If central matters to you, then you cannot get more central!||The staff were great - booking us tours and dinners at short notice with aplomb and grace. Not sure I have ever been somewhere where the staff remember your coffee order the next morning at breakfast and have such a cheery disposition (maybe that 5am run?)||We had a great room with a wide set of facilities in room. ||If I go back to Bologna I would definitely go back.||Thank you

From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the attention to detail—everything from the quality of the linens to the complimentary amenities exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions yet peaceful enough for a restful night. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options. We truly felt pampered throughout our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

We loved the hotel. The sitting room and the breakfast area were welcoming and designed nicely. The room was very nice, loved the Nespresso machine and modern.The staff were alwoys available to answer questions and were fluent in English. The hotel recommended a good restaurant that was wonderful and just a short walk away. The area is great and we walked everywhere.

We stayed at this hotel a number of years ago for only 1 night when we took a day trip from Modena. We loved it and just had to return. The hotel underwent some renovations & while it looked slightly different it was as lovely as before. Our room was immaculate, the staff was very friendly & accommodating, the breakfast was excellent with many choices and the location was perfect as it was a stone’s throw to the main square, Cathedral, shops, restaurants, cafe’s and bars.

Rooms, breakfast, service & location are excellent. Wish we had more than 2 nights to enjoy. Right off of Piazza Maggiori so getting to hotel then parking your car can be a little tricky but it’s worth it.

My husband and I agreed, this was one of our favorite hotels from our recent trip to Italy, and since we visited 3 different cities and 5 different hotels we had a pretty good comparison set. The location of the hotel was absolutely fantastic. It was right in the middle of everything, so it was an easy walk to get to all of the sites and shopping and restaurants. The hotel room was beautiful and clean and comfortable, although the hallway to get to it was a bit quirky with a ramp going down to the room (and then up when leaving which I had to remember). The little mini bar and fridge in the room were hidden behind a mirror which was both cool and beautiful! The breakfast was very delicious and I wish I had gotten some pictures. I know some of the other reviews mentioned being able to hear the movie that was playing in the square in their room, but we listened for it while it was playing and could just barely make it out if we were dead silent and listening for it, it really wasn’t an issue at all, it certainly wasn’t loud or disturbing in any way. I’m sure it had to do with the location of our room.
