From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the attention to detail—everything from the quality of the linens to the complimentary amenities exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, close to all the main attractions yet peaceful enough for a restful night. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of fresh options. We truly felt pampered throughout our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. Very welcoming and the staff are the best. I can't recommend this hotel enough. Beautiful rooms, sumptuous buffet breakfast with the best coffee and such attention to detail - like the perfume as you enter the building. Loved the marble bathroom. We have never felt so welcome, this hotel is a posh home away from home. Can't wait to come back.

We loved our short stay at this hotel, we were given room 40 on the 4th floor, which had a nice view of the square below and the larger Piazza Maggiore, the location is just perfect, it was 35C during our stay and it was great to be within walking distance of bars, restaurants, shops, and attractions so we were able to go back to the hotel to freshen up and chill several times throughout the day. The bed was huge and comfortable, and the room spotless. There was a mini fridge stocked with water, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks in the room(for a charge, we couldn't find a price list anywhere though), ample wardrobe space, good sized shower and toiletries in the bathroom, and a small seating area with table. The reception area was lovely and cool and smelled amazing! We landed early, and to our surprise our room was ready at 11am,much appreciated after a 3am rise for our flight and in such hot weather. Breakfast was fine, but despite going down at 9.30am(breakfast is until 11am), the eggs and bacon had run out, unsure if they refill this or not. There was a good choice of meats, cheese, fruit, yogurt, pastries, juices and even prosecco! Very nice. The only small issues I could mention was that there's one lift and it's extremely slow, and only carries 4-5 people at a time(to be honest, 3 comfortably) but I suppose this is to be expected in an old historical building. Also, the TV was temperamental, no channels in English that we could find and it turned itself off randomly the second night and wouldn't come back on, but was OK the next morning. We would definitely stay here again, the location, service and amenities were excellent for what we paid. We also loved being seconds walk from the huge outdoor movie screen in the square, we even watched from our juliette balcony one night!

Perfect location. located inside the city Square. We were on the fourth floor and had a very quiet room. Very attentive staff. Breakfast was perfect for us with the basic things. Room was small, but comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. Walking outside the hotel had everything we need – restaurants, market, and anything else that is needed. Highly recommend.

Art Hotel Orologio was awesome. The pictures on the internet don't adequately show what a nice hotel this is. Clean, great location, super helpful and kind staff, very good breakfast. Our room was spacious, clean, and well furnished. The location of the hotel is only a few steps from Piazza Maggiore, but even with that, it's still quiet. Being awakened to the sounds of the bells from the Clock Tower was beautiful. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. The hotel is centrally located and close to excellent restaurants, the Two Towers, shops, etc, and only an 11-minute taxi ride to Bologna Centrale train station. Highly recommended.

Art Hotel Orologio is a fantastic place to stay in Bologna. My husband, our son, and I spent two nights in one of the hotel apartments. We arrived to find a basket of fresh fruit along with teas and coffees. The rooms were spacious, and the bathtub was wonderful (especially after a day if exploring Bologna on foot.) Breakfast was very good, and the front desk staff was helpful. It is located just off Piazza Maggio. We would definitely return here for another stay.

This hotel is in a great location to see all of historic Bologna. Even though it is located in the pedestrian area, you can get dropped off immediately in front of the hotel. Courteous staff, nicely decorated rooms, great, controllable air conditioning and a large, varied breakfast menu make this hotel a pleasure to stay at. My only suggestion, and it is a small one, is to change to lighted vanity mirrors in the bathrooms instead of unlit ones. A little extra light is always welcome! :)

Perfect location...just steps from wherever you wanted to be in the old town part of Bologna. Service was excellent. Rooms small but was not an issue for my wife and I. AC was the best of any place we stayed in Italy!
