The rooms were outdated and felt barely clean, which is an environment I dislike when traveling. Additionally, there was a lot of noise from the rooms above and outside, making it difficult for us to sleep. This was compounded by the poor quality of the mattress and pillows. On the positive side, the staff was very attentive and helpful when needed. The location is also very close to the convention center, which does not justify the ~190 euro per night price tag. Furthermore, there is no air conditioning, so keep that in mind if you travel in the summer.

My stay at the Art-Hotel Robert Mayer was exceptional! The hotel has been accommodating of all my requests, including exceptional pet stay, taxi booking, and after-hours breakfast service. The rooms are big and hospitable and the location is central and in one of the best residential areas of Frankfurt. Highly recommended!

I stayed in this hotel twice in a six day period starting my week there on the Sunday before transferring to a ship hotel and then the following Saturday night as the ship had set sail! I was in the city for a trade fair at the nearby Messe. The hotel proved to be an excellent base and I was sorry I could not stay for my full week. The hotel is very close to the Messe and also to the U train stations, yet it is in quiet street so a peaceful nights sleep is guaranteed. This is a very small, but pleasant hotel with spacious bedrooms which are contemporary designed with very comfortable beds. My first night was in room 12 which had a wonderful bathroom including a large bath, my other night was in room 21 which was also pleasant, but with no bath. The rooms are vastly superior to many 4 star chain hotels. The staff on both stays were very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was simple, but good and I was also impressed with the Jura coffee machine. With no restaurant I was recommended a good local Italian which was very good others are a quick underground or taxi ride away. It is a quick walk to the Messe. The hotel also kindly stored my luggage during the day whilst I visited the city before my late flight on check out day. I would strongly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Frankfurt and especially the Messe.

This hotel is located in a quiet street, close to public transportation. The room was clean, with all the necessary amenities. No safe deposit box in the room. Free WiFi was also available in the room and it was excellent. The lady from the reception was very friendly and helpful. It is worth noting that there is no elevator. It is perfect for a couple of nights.

It took me a while to find this hotel. The entrance is hidden and there is only a small sign. It didn't help that on the website I booked the room it showed a picture of the building across the street. Besides that, the overall experience was very good. The room was very clean, spacious and with all the necessary amenities. My room appeared not to have A/C, I didn't needed it so I didn't look too much for it, but maybe worth asking if staying in summer and this is important for you. The woman from the reception was very friendly, and the neighborhood was good for walking although at night a little dark. I found it to be of great value and perfectly find for a couple of nights.

We stayed at this hotel during a trade fair at the Messe. The room was spacious and clean with large windows which gave plenty of light. We enjoyed the quiet side street. There were problems with the internet connection. Which was difficult because we were on a business trip and needed to access our emails. We told the front desk, but they didn't have much to say about it. The hotel does not have an elevator and we were on the third floor. Walking the stairs was not the problem, the noise we made going up and down on wooden floors/stairs with our shoes made it uncomfortable. We kept thinking we were making too much noise especially when we came back to the room late at night or left the room early in the morning. The staff was not very friendly. We had a problem with our bill and it took a while to get it straighten out due to lack of communication. It is a good location for the Messe, only a 15 minute walk. But next year we will find another hotel.

Nice and cozy hotel near Messe. The rooms are clean, spacious with big windows. The staff was polite and friendly. There isn’t an elevator in the building. It’s very close to the messe and the neighborhood is very quiet and very convenient since there is a tram and also a s-bahn station nearby.|The only negative thing is the price. It is too expensive during trade fairs!

The location is quiet and quite close to the train station, which was very convenient. The stairs are quite inconvenient for those that have lots of luggage. The rooms were minimalist, but clean. There is no room service and I would've like to have more windows in the rooms.
