Nice location with great drinks and good food, but the music in the bar is terrible. Were there for two hours for afterwork drinks on a Friday and had to flee because of the monotone hip-hop/rap at a very high volume. Both bartenders refused to change the music, referring to the "musical concept". Too bad!

With the sharing is caring concept, its central location, super friendly service and a vibrant environment, it is THE place to be to dine and drink well in the city. I can highly recommend it to anyone searching a cool place in Basel to spent the evening.

My wife was sick one night so I went up to the roof top for an adhoc dinner. Chef Petkovic spoke through the menu (very custom interaction) and delivered a sausage/pasta dish that was absolutely fantastic. Because my wife was sick, he offered up a lighter caprese-type of appetizer for her. Also fantastic. He certainly has the touch! Thanks, Chef Petkovic!
