Max and peppy are wonderful. I recently bit the bullet and made my first fine art work purchase. I could not be more pleased with it! Max’s passion for his work shines through in his dedication and incredible knowledgeable about the artists he works with. I plan on purchasing more from Arthouse SF in the future!

I get invited regularly to featured art openings and I always enjoy seeing new pieces and immersing myself into engaging conversations about the art, artist and unusual perspectives. The host is gracious, welcoming and always showcases unique wine choices. Great small space/venue for Art.

Art House SF's online gallery of international works of art is fun and easy to use. That's how I found Tavalina's oil painting before visiting Max at the gallery where he was featuring works from a different artist. He is so friendly and helpful. He shared his enthusiasm for modern woodblock prints by a Japanese artist, and made me a fan too. He even installed the art! I look forward to seeing what he discovers next.

I’ve purchased two Tibetan pieces from Art House SF and I love them. Max is really great to work with and I’ve learned a lot from him about the artist and the pieces I purchased. I discovered ArtHouseSF by accident when I was having an anniversary lunch in Bernal Heights and decided to buy the whimsical painting over our table called Christmas Cat by the Ukrainian artist Alyona Krutogolova. Max Khusid of ArtHouseSf had placed her paintings in the restaurant, and I subsequently visited his website and gallery, and saw many beautiful paintings there. I purchased 2 other works of Tibetan art by the Nepalese artist Tashi Gurung. Max travels the world to find special artists and it is always fun to visit his gallery.

Local business that celebrated and sells local artists as well as international. Great selection. I reached out because I wanted to get a gift certificate for my daughter's wedding gift. It was easy as pie and I feel so great about it! No expiration date and he said if they decide they don't want to use it he will give the cash instead. Perfect.

I went to my first show at the Art House and was so impressed that I bought a print! The art was lovely and well curated, and the owner was as friendly and hospitable. I'll be back.

First time here at this tiny, yet overlooked art gallery. I met Max, the owner who was very nice and answered people's questions. He said he devotes more time to each individual artist to get to establish a good relationship and foundation with them which is nice. An artist wants to make sure their art is taken care of. I have seen some interesting events on EventBrite and came across this one one. I like this type of art where it can take on a double meaning. The big picture is a cute cartoon happy folklore character, but when you come closer to the images, you see berries forming as a neck of the subject or fishes swimming in the body of the subject is pretty near. The theme rotates, so catch this artist now. You can always purchase past artwork from other artists.

I recently ordered a painting from Art House SF. The ordering process was seamless, Max followed up with a kind email letting know that they'd received my order and he was expediting it. The painting I purchased is by Alyona Krutogolova and is even more beautiful than I expected. The painting arrived safely, it was packed with care. Max @ Art House is truly passionate about art and every time I come in I'm amazed at the variety and breadth of the gallery's exhibits. Global in reach and featuring ancient to ultra-modern, local to faraway enchanted lands, implied to literal, and many different mediums and approaches. If you like art and human expression, you will love Art House SF.

I bought a wonderful painting called Dream Cat by Alena Krutogolova as a gift for my wife for Valentine's day (beats paying for overpriced flowers) I talked to Max quite a bit about the artist, the artwork he has and his gallery. He is truly passionate about everything he has in his gallery and has plenty of stories to tell. I stopped by to pick up the painting as I was around the area and he made sure it was wrapped nicely with everything needed to hang out. Overall, it's great to see a small art gallery with very cool pieces of art that don't cost a fortune in the area. It's definitely a great place to visit as Max has various exhibits presenting artists from all over the world.

I have purchased a number of terrific artworks from SF ART House, which is located on Market Street, near Noe Street in the Castro District. I have bought several stunning Japanese wood block prints and about a half-dozen acrylic woks, which are stunning and bring life to my house. Max (the gallery owner) also came my home to hang these artworks and hung them on my walls. I have completely run out of wall spaces to hang any more artwork (which I added to my collection). The prices are reasonable (at least for me), IMHO.

Outstanding! Purchased four pieces by Alena Krutoglova. The art is whimsical and beautiful. An artist creating under wartime circumstances. The shop is today and functional. Max is a delight I knowledgable and courteous. One piece was shipped to Knoxville to my daughter and arrived timely and safely. Keep an eye on this Art House!

I love this little gallery! Interesting art (sometimes, art is in the eye of the beholder after all) at affordable prices. The owner is friendly and obviously loves what he's doing.

The most recent exhibition of Japanese wood cuts was extraordinary. Max shared hit travels for the exhibit, meeting the artist and the traditional Japanese framer! The pieces were at affordable price points! Great gallery on Market Street - I would recommend checking them out!

I purchased a set of 10 postcards with amazing artwork by/supporting a Ukranian artist. The cardstock is high quality, the colors are deep and vibrant and the artwork itself is so creative and whimsical. Definitely frame-worthy. I'm going to mail them to my favorite people, but it will be hard to part with them. Maybe I will keep one for myself.

A very special place with a thoughtful and unique approach. Beautiful art! Highly recommended. I'll be visiting again on my next trip.

I have walked by this Art Gallery many times, but my recent walk by, drew me in - Big Time! What did it for me, you ask. Well it was the art of Alena Krutogolova. So bright, so whimsical with most of the carefully created pieces being of animals I Love and adore and almost always make me laugh. And the names of each piece were so clever, of which many, I could personally relate to. PLUS, her art was available in a post card set 10 for $15.00. Happy Birthday to me. I couldn't afford the bigger pieces. All or most all were captured in the 3x5 cards. I have since been back to the gallery about three times and have had wonderful conversations with Max. What a lovely guy, so engaging and clearly a wonderful representative for artists. The way he displayed her art also created more conversation. This artist in particular he knows personally and is doing the showing to support her and the people of Ukraine. The best part we were able to engage in conversation about every piece on display. Noting similarities in each piece. Which Max explained to me were very much a part of the Ukrainian culture, which I found fascinating. If you are in the area, don't just "walk by", go in and let Max tell you the stories. Let the art talk to you and share your experience.

This is the second painting we bought from Max and it's fabulous. He has a really good eye for outstanding and interesting art from artists all over the world. Both shipments were well packaged and arrived in mint condition. We highly recommend Max! Check out his gallery and his website.

Such a cute little space! Me and my gf were stopped in our tracks by a stylized/painted Converse shoe on their opening week and simply had to walk in! The rest of the exhibit was as equally intriguing and beautiful. We're walkways curious to what will come next!

I happened by Art House SF quite by accident, was drawn in by the colorful, whimsical exhibit. The space is the perfect size so one feels immersed in the art, and the owner Max is both welcoming and charming. While not in a neighborhood I frequent, I got on the mailing list to be sure not to miss future exhibits.
