Art Mai? Gallery Hotel Chiang Mai

This boutique hotel in Chiang Mai completely stole our hearts. Tucked away on a quiet street but still close to all the action, it felt like a serene little oasis. The design was cozy and stylish, blending traditional Thai charm with modern touches — every corner felt photo-worthy! We had an easel in our room to allow our creative juices to flow. ||The real standout, though, was the incredible staff. From check-in to check-out, they went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Friendly, helpful, and full of great local tips, they truly made our stay feel personal and special.||And let’s talk about breakfast — wow! Each morning felt like a Thai treat. Fresh tropical fruit, homemade pastries, Thai specialties, and perfect coffee. It was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully served, easily one of the best breakfasts we’ve had at any hotel. THE BREAKFAST STAFF WAS BEYOND WARM AND INVITING. ||If you’re visiting Chiang Mai and looking for something more intimate and unique than the big chains, this little boutique gem is everything you could hope for. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Fantastic Stay – Highly Recommend!||The location is excellent — very close to Maya Mall and One Nimman, with plenty of great food spots and shops around. Perfect for a lazy vacation! 😂||The hotel itself has a unique and artistic design. If you’re someone who appreciates art and creativity, you’ll love the vibe here.||The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. A big shoutout to housekeeping — they truly go above and beyond! They noticed we were drinking a lot of water (just from the empty bottles — we never even mentioned it!) and started providing extra bottles for us. The room was cleaned daily and always smelled fresh and comfortable.||The Food & Beverage team was also lovely — polite, professional, and fluent in English. The breakfast buffet isn’t huge, but it’s just right. I was so impressed with the simple but delicious fried rice with eggs and stir-fried vegetables — I had it every day, topped with a slightly overcooked fried egg. 😋||The coffee and Thai tea were also excellent. They have a coffee machine included with the breakfast package to serve cappuccino, americano etc, and I absolutely loved it.||If I get the chance to return to Chiang Mai, I’ll definitely stay here again — and I’ll be recommending this place to friends and family too!

It was a little difficult to get to the hotel, but once we made it, it was definitely worth it. We arrived a couple of hours early, but we're kindly allowed to check in. We received 2 welcome drink tickets upon arrival. There is underground parking, which is great. Parking was always available. The room was great with a very comfortable bed and plenty of drinks and snacks. The bar and restaurant staff were truly amazing. We've been to restaurants in hotels all over the world, but we felt a special connection with these kind people who we shared laughs with, received recommendations from, and we just enjoyed spending time with them. Truly special!|The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops and is in a great location. An absolute pleasure for us!

I was impressed right from the fast check-in and the attentive service. The room was clean and fully equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious, high quality, and offered a wide variety. The staff were also very helpful with arranging tours I recommend booking tours directly through the hotel for safety and convenience. I’m planning to return in December and have already booked my stay at Art Mai Gallery Hotel!||Keep up the great work👍

Every time I stay at Art Mai, it’s just as wonderful as the last. This hotel truly holds a special place in my heart.||||Whenever I visit Chiang Mai, this is the place I choose to stay it feels like home. Everyone seems to know exactly what I need, from what I like, when I wake up, to what I enjoy doing. During breakfast, TK, Prim, and Tortae always bring me my favorite dishes without even asking. It’s amazing how well they know me.||||The breakfast here is high quality, with a well-curated variety that offers great value for money. Everything is delicious and thoughtfully prepared.||||Check-in is always smooth, the room is spotless, and every staff member from Nim, Kik, Sai, Fon, Fluke, to Eve goes above and beyond. They even recommended tours that were just perfect for me. And when I need to relax, in-room massage service means I don’t even need to step outside.||||The longer I stay, the more it feels like home. I’m truly attached and deeply impressed every single time.

The hotel is very comfortable and situated in a very nice neighborhood. There are very nice shops within walking distance and cozy restaurants around the hotel to make any stay very pleasant, as well as a very nice pool on the top floor. The staff are really great and accommodated all our requests, including last minute transportation requests, early check in and very early check out. Our stay was really great thanks to their efforts. Highly recommended.

We arrived very early to the hotel and asked if we could leave our bags, but we were asked to complete a short review and we would be allowed to check in early, which we did. I was quite surprised since we had about 5 hours til check in time. The room was very nice, well stocked with snacks, sodas, and alcohol. The hotel has a very nice gym and the staff in the restaurant were the best we've ever experienced and we have been to many countries. They were kind, attentive, and so easy to talk to. We were always met with a smile and a wai and they all were great to be around. If we return we will revisit this hotel.

Overall, it was a great experience. Prime location, right beside one ninman, a lot selection for food with different price range. A lot of michelin guide restaurants here, too. Most are within walking distance (less than 15 mins/ 1km). Ordering roddaeng and grab is easy here. There are a lot of drivers available around the area. There are also several boutiques, bars, and massage parlours, and it's also close to Maya shopping mall. You can find most of the entertainment activities around this area. Staff are nice and can communicate well in English. Room is spacious (We had booked 2 types of room - connecting room and normal double bed/ twin bed room). Cleanliness is well maintained. Free welcome drink is given, redeemable in the bar at level 8, a small but cosy bar.
