I had the Salt and Pepper Shrimp which gave Indo/Chinese vibes. Huge prawns in a beautiful sauce. I also had the Fish Pakora which was a meaty fish battered and fried served on a bed of greens!! Staff was amazing and super friendly! I even got my ‘Thumbs Up’ fix!!

I loved this place! I had the Tikka chicken with roti and samosas. Although I don’t normally eat meat I decided to try the chicken which was tender and delicious(!!) with the chutney, the roti were warm and fresh, and the samosas were the perfect amount of spice! The nice guy that took my order recommended me the Thai tea, it was so good I’ve decided to learn to make some at home! Overall, great food and wonderful service!

I had the Chicken chili chow mein. Phenomenal flavor great texture and a good amount of food for the money. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend.

I love visiting the Reno Public Market—there’s always something new to try, and on a recent trip I discovered Art of Spice Thai and Indian. I’m so glad I did! I had the tandoori chicken, which was perfectly cooked and served over a bed of fresh greens, peppers, and onions, all brought together by a delicious mint chutney that I believe is made in-house. It was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. I also ordered a mango lassi—smooth, sweet, and refreshing as always—and finished the meal with mango sticky rice, which was a perfect blend of creamy, fruity, and just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and it looks to be a family-owned business, which always adds a personal touch to the experience. The Thai-Indian fusion really works here, combining the best of both worlds in a thoughtful and delicious way. All in all, I loved it! I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely incredible food! This time I had their green curry with tofu, and vegetable pakora. I couldn’t stop eating it even though I was full. The portions are enough for at least two people! I’m so glad I have leftovers for later. Their menu has so many different options and a large variety. The meat is seasoned with just the right amount of aromatic spices, and there are plenty of vegetarian options that are just as flavorful. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu!

The food is really good! For Indian food in Reno... They let us know that this is day 3 of being open! The serving size is decent, we could definitely share and walk away full! Instead we have leftovers 😋. This is in a food court "Reno Public Market" open setting for the market. You walk up and the waitress taking the order is very friendly and helpful! Speaking very good English! The food came up one at a time so it was a lot of back and fourth from the counter to our table as its a public market not a sit down restaurant! It was a Wednesday night so it was fairly quiet and a lot of open seats. We have been their during the weekends when their is little to no open seats. Definitely a place we will visit again as it is only going to get even better with time!

I stopped in today at lunch and tried Art of Spice. I didn’t know they were new, I just saw their menu at Reno Public Market and it looked good. Turns out I was their very first customer! They were all very kind and helpful. I had the pad Thai with veg and tofu bc I wanted something light. It was delicious!! Very flavorful and fresh. It was served on a reusable melamine plate which I appreciated. Price was great, especially for the location, RPM can be expensive. Overall I was very happy and will certainly come back and try the clay oven offerings. I already told my parents and some friends about them, so we will be back!

Went to RPM for DJ Trivia and we ate the Butter Chicken and Chicken Curry. Both dishes were amazing. As Brits, we're pretty discerning when it comes to Indian food - curry is the UK's national dish! We highly recommend both of these dishes and can't wait to try the rest of the menu!

Yelp
Well! This is hands down the best fried rice I've had in my life. It's my birthday today & that means I'm 44 years this is the best fried rice I've ever had. It has a mild ginger smell. A fragrant garlic that is mild and creamy. Honestly I can't even place what makes this so incredible, it's just absolutely crave-able. The veggies are fresh and warm. The portion is huge, this was $11.99 and could easily be two meals or more for me. Owners were super friendly. They let you customize anything to your liking, being vegetarian that was awesome because I could opt out of fish sauce and oyster sauce. Run here now!!!! Especially vegans and vegetarians because they will customize anything to fit your needs. I took a bite and told my husband it was life altering.

Yelp
Worst food I've had in a long while. We ordered three things - all were bad. - Chow mein with tofu: tasted like ketchup was a major ingredient. Really disappointing. - Stir fry with broccoli: stir fry? More like stew. Flavorless. - Red curry: weak, thin, lacked any kind of body you expect with curry.

Yelp
Just inside the Reno Public Market is Art of Spice serving Thai and Indian food. With all the food stalls here your party can have their choice but could also enjoy several dishes from AoS and share. The portions are large so is the flavor! Red curry, rice (or noodles), butter naan and a mango lassi. Everything was delicious. Order at the counter leave a number get a text. Lots of seating at RPM, even high chairs for our visiting 1year old. Great space, great food and periodically live entertainment.

Yelp
Reno Public Market has a new delightful and flavorful option. Run by a sweet family, I can't wait to go back and try more things. I tried two parathas, one filled with potato and the other cauliflower. $4.99 each and full of spiced yumminess. The chai was sweet and spicy and served piping hot.

Yelp
Art of Spice is a breath of fresh air. This is the best execution of a fusion menu that I've experienced in Reno. The food was amazing. Made as authentic as you could possibly get. Amazing customer service, treated my wife and I like family. The owners are locals with an amazing story. The journey they've undergone to get that kitchen running is inspiring. This place is great for date nights, when my wife wants Thai and I want Indian. You can not get a better price in town for anything on their menu. My tofu was the perfect texture and just the right amount of sweet. Only complaint I can think of is that the serving size was too big, or maybe I just ordered too much food lol. When you spend your money here you know it's going to a good place. I will be back soon.

Yelp
Had the pad Thai and stir fry both were not very good. A little too much fish sauce or something in both.

Yelp
Loved this place. The food was so delicious and I couldn't get it in my mouth fast enough....Portions are great and everything that I've had, we have gone three times now, is super!!!!

Yelp
Good flavor, but *way* overpriced. My chicken tikka masala was almost entirely sauce. If you're going to charge $20 for an entree, I expect more than 1/4 lb of chicken swimming in 1.5 cups of sauce.

Madisyn H.

Yelp
Food is delicious! We were recommended to try the Chicken Tikka and its is amazing! Perfectly cooked and seasoned chicken on a bed of lettuce with onions. Pad Thai and somosas were outstanding as well!
