Great new vinyl (new and used) and book shop in the beautiful Chevy Chase Arcade space. Nice selections of rock, pop, jazz and reggae/dub especially. Outstanding customer service. Go support them! Lots of nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby so make a trip out of it.

The selection, the eclecticism, and incredible music history depth of the owner, among other factors, make this one of the best records shops you will ever go to!

Super excited to have this place in the neighborhood. Wonderful store with a great selection. I could spend all day there listening to their curated playlists. A bit of an impulse purchase but worth it definitely worth the visit.

This will sound weird but best smelling record store I've ever been to. The wood used for the racks (pine? cedar?) has a very pleasant smell. Also very well curated and reasonable prices. Happy to have this in the neighborhood.

Wonderful new vinyl & literature spot with really good pricing. Located on the DC/Montgomery County line in Chevy Chase Circle, Art Sound Language has a fine little selection of used stuff, with a few carefully curated new records mixed in. The International bin is featured front and center, and definitely worth a flip. There’s some bargain bibs, too, with great $3-5 options. And who doesn’t love a spot where they celebrate with cham and the whole fam pitches in!

You can always tell when an owner is passionate about their store, and this is definitely a passion project! Good selection at reasonable prices, and the owner is super friendly and knowledgeable. I'll be keeping an eye out for an upcoming event as well!

Really great little record store with an amazing selection of records spanning many genres, including stuff like library records and soundtracks. Has a lot of both used and new records. Highly recommend stopping in this place.
